    Sumatriptan for Migraine

I take Sumatriptan once a month when I get my rule then I always have migraines before or after, thanks to Sumatriptan I have that far under control. I also have a side effect, some nausea and tingling, when I get into the tub, it burns something on the skin as if you have a sunburn (but goes away as soon as you get out of the tub). When taking this drug, you should lie down for about 1 hour, the pain is totally gone after 15 minutes. As an alternative, very good Dolotriptan, which is available without a prescription, cost 9,97 € for 2 tablets.

    Sumatriptan for Migraine

The first and only medication that really helps, sometimes after half an hour and sometimes after one hour. If the headache is not over yet, I’ll take Ibuprofen 400, which is rare. The side effects are sometimes, urinate frequently, sensitive to warm water, it feels really hot. Sometimes total fatigue, body aches and sometimes no side effects at all. Nevertheless, I like to accept that, because the migraine is otherwise unbearable, but you have to take the tablets right at the first sign. Always carry the tablets with you, always have 1 or 2 tablets in all my pockets.

    Sumatriptan for Migraine

Take Sumatriptan for years (migraine for 32 years) and it’s the best remedy I’ve got so far. Had to change constantly before, because habituation occurred. It is best to take the tablet with liquid at the very first sign. Then the side effects such as dizziness, poor concentration, mild nausea, muscle pain are not so strong. The effect usually starts after 15-20 minutes and lasts for a relatively long time. One side effect, which I have not read here, is the following: the skin is very sensitive in the next few hours and even lukewarm water is perceived as boiling hot. But all this is more bearable than the terrible headache. As long as Sumatriptan helps me, I will not change. One more tip: Foot reflexology massage helps – even to relax!
