About Subutex

Buprenorphine is a painkiller that is used especially in severe and very severe pain. These are, for example, pain after surgery, an accident, a heart attack or cancer in cancer. Buprenorphine should only be used if other painkillers have failed.

What is the purpose of this ingredient?

  • relieve severe to very severe pain
  • Replace narcotic drugs

This is how Buprenorphine works

Below you will learn more about the fields of application and the mode of action of buprenorphine.
Please also read the information on the drug groups opioid painkillers, painkillers, to which the active ingredient buprenorphine belongs.

Areas of application of the active substance buprenorphine

Buprenorphine is a painkiller that is used especially in severe and very severe pain. These are, for example, pain after surgery, an accident, a heart attack or cancer in cancer. Buprenorphine should only be used if other painkillers have failed.

The active substance can be used in various forms. In acute pain, when rapid onset is required within a few minutes, buprenorphine is injected into the bloodstream. When injected into the muscle or used as a sublingual tablet (which is a tablet that is kept under the tongue until it disintegrates), it takes about half an hour for it to take effect. In addition, the active ingredient is available in a patch, which is used especially in long-lasting severe pain. Here, over a long period of time (up to 96 hours) a certain amount of buprenorphine is released evenly, so that the analgesic effect lasts long.

Buprenorphine is also used to wean patients who are addicted to drugs (opiates) such as heroin. The drug is administered in the form of a sublingual tablet.

Buprenorphine is a narcotic and therefore subject to a particularly strict prescription.

For the following uses of buprenorphine , in-depth information is available:

  • Pain (strong to very strong)
  • Pain (mild to moderate)
  • infarction
  • Cancer (general)

Mode of action of buprenorphine

Buprenorphine belongs to the group of opioid analgesics. Like all drugs in this group, buprenorphine has an analgesic effect. It relieves severe to very severe pain and is also used as a replacement for drug addiction.

Like other opioid analgesics, buprenorphine inhibits pain in the spinal cord and brain. The active ingredient binds to specific binding sites (the so-called opiate receptors), essentially to the Mü binding site. Buprenorphine has a long duration of action of six to eight hours.

In drug replacement therapy, the long-term use of buprenorphine on the opiate receptor is exploited. It leads to a blockade of the receptor for the intoxicants. At the same time, the addict’s need for drugs will be satisfied for a long time.

A peculiarity of this drug over other opioid painkillers and intoxicants is that after a certain dose of the drug, its effect is no longer stronger. Buprenorphine limits its own effect, so to speak. Thus, the substance is not as good for abuse as, for example, morphine, which is increasingly effective, the more is taken. Buprenorphine is about thirty times more analgesic than morphine. Therefore, it can be used in pain treatment in significantly lower dosages.

I have been consuming Subutex for a long time. But not for medical reasons. I came to the stuff through a friend. I realized relatively quickly that I woke up in the morning, I was cold and I was shaking. But I think it was less the physical but much more the mental dependence. I did not take them in normal form, but nasally. When one has the power of heroin & amp; Subutex to come down then I think that it is less of a problem. I am now 5 months clean because of the blame and the longing is still there. I would not recommend it, but anyone who takes this or wants to be clean I wish much luck.

Last summer (having only been snoring heroin occasionally, but never felt withdrawal), I found a super connect for H with a good friend. Incredibly good quality (at least in comparison to what we were used to usual) of the goods and also we could always chill with him in the apartment. The Connect was really an extremely nice and smart person from Africa (even heroin addicted), with whom we both enjoyed talking, watching TV, playing table tennis and so on. At some point we visited him almost every day and after some time I also felt for the first time the famous monkey. This went on for several months then so. At some point in late autumn, the Connect tells us that he would like to stop himself and could refer to a friend SUBUTEX. He said that 5 tablets would suppress the withdrawal symptoms for 1 week and then you would feel normal again. One should take on the first day a whole and then slowly reduce, so the next day a 3/4 tablet, the next 2/3 etc … Furthermore, he said, if we wanted, he would also be able to get some for us in the next days. Of course we both agreed, too, because an addiction in the long run would not have been affordable for me. Well, sounds funny, of course, that helps one of your own dealer in the withdrawal, but in the meantime we were already friends and he wanted to have even more to do with heroin nothing more. After my last nose, Hero, I waited about 22 hours and took one tablet. The slowly onset withdrawal symptoms had completely disappeared, and the urge to take back heroin was as good as gone. I took a little less every day and took my last tablet after 6 or 7 days. One day later, I did not notice anything about withdrawal and a subutex addiction has not yet developed. Since then, I have taken heroin from time to time (from another Connect), but to such a limited extent that I have never felt any more of the deception. At Subutex I was always very clear in my head, so working, learning etc. is definitely possible. I think if you get it prescribed by the doctor, the health insurance will pay for it, so 5 Euro prescription fee and the tablets for lukewarm. So we paid for 10 tablets (5 me, 5 my friend) 180 euros. Is actually a joke, how expensive the junk sell the stuff, since they do not pay for themselves, but no matter. The heroin for a week would probably have come a little more expensive. So to sum up: Subutex is probably the best solution to pull away. Only it makes regular use even addictive. And how hard a Subutex withdrawal is I do not know. But you can handle this with slow down dosing certainly synonymous !! LG, Fitzcarraldo

was imprisoned a few months ago, and at that time was only heroin dependent. In prison, I have easily withdrawn from my heroinkkonsum in no time. I relapsed outside, not with heroin, but with subutex! Initially, I was totally impressed by the effect, but now after 2 months, I take more or less an elephant dose! I have depression, take diazepam for sleep disorders and still take heroin! I have been recommended to Subutex and I regret ever having taken it !! Will go to the hospital next week to detoxify it and advise everyone from this remedyQuite apart from the fact that you have NO sex life anymore

I am a woman who has been in contact with a wide variety of substances for 15 years. I am now stable with Subutex for 5 years (with some small slip-ups with benzos …). I have been happily married since 2009 and have a 2.5 year old son whom I gave birth to at zero because I lost 8 mg during the SS. Then I could give birth to my baby without it having a withdrawal. At home, I realized that I could not keep up with a baby, because I could hardly sleep and fell into a deep hole. When the kid was 6 weeks old, I went to the doctor, who then opened me again 4 mg Subutex. In spite of my drug career, I have always worked in between and even after the birth of an education to beautician and make-up artist. Unfortunately, I now realize that I have many side effects, such as Sleep disorders and much more … Nose runs constantly and I am often moody up and down- it also bothers me that the dose is getting higher, because I never stay on a lot for a long time … I want to withdraw completely and would like tips have which meds I can take as support. Of course, I’ve already got through a lot, but this has brought me unwanted side effects (stangyl, doxipin) and I want to know how you would do it. Am currently set to 10 mg per day … unfortunately, over the years it has become more and more Subutex. Every 6 months I had the feeling that it was not enough. But I dare to stop now. Of course, my doctor does not prescribe Benzo for me, as I have so exaggerated it. By the way, get home (ie for 7 days with home on prescription). If I now tell my doctor that I want to quit with the subtitling he will advise against over and over again and I find that sooo annoying. Why should not I be able to do it? Your Suse Who still has to do with Subutex, may also like to contact me …. I would be happy

I guess from Subutex who does not really need it !!! Have currently strong pain after surgery and since I got an agranulocytosis, the Subutex had to be increased by 1mg in the day to 15mg in the day … I have jez since 1 month on this dose and get stronger and stronger night sweats so I refer my bed 3 times can at night. I also have increased itching, numbness tachycardia, respiratory problems or heavy breathing, I am constantly tired, libido, joint pain, comic muscle contractions and twitching, chills, blurred vision, urinary problems, constipation and and and the side effects are currently very large … The beautiful is that since I was from the hospital, the dose of 15mg was simply set directly to 8mg which brought me partly severe withdrawal symptoms, which I have, however, slower in control. Now it just means for me to come to 0mg and slowly withdraw the withdrawal … so I’m trying it right now so that I stay constant at 1-2 weeks on 8mg and go to 6mg after these 2 weeks if I can tolerate otherwise 7 weeks and more and more weeks Dive down until I am at 0mg Subutex. My doctor has recommended me at first to make any major steps if it is bearable and towards the end with 0.4mg steps go back that I have as little pain and sobstige withdrawal symptoms … The effect on pain is very good but as I said if you have no pain some do not scream and cry at all. What I can say is that the withdrawal is easier as with methadone which I initially got (20mg / day) there had the cold withdrawal 20mg taken directly to 0 3 months taken 3 months withdrawal and habichs to get away from the Zaldiar since I the opiate after 1 year more irritable bowel jokes had thrown than taken …

well set, the a + o is better than methadone. in too high a dose subutex I suffer from blockages in the evening I often had sleep disorders disadvantage is that many users it iv. Therefore, I advise anyone who can not handle this should prefer to take suboxols. if you are stable enough u. then it usually takes 10-14 days to get off when you’re at 0. until I felt normal again in my skin. but it is far more pleasant than the methadone of the withdrawal symptoms. To get there you should not be dosed down too fast. the drawback with all the replacement drugs is that the noise was missing and therefore many of my acquaintances get along without using it and that is the catastrophe in the substuiton treatment

I have changed from Pola to 8mg Subutex … then we went already: headache, numbness in the head, beeping in the ears then I started to see blurry, which is very bad! The eyes hurt + pressure feeling. Suddenly I have a rest pulse of 120 … the heart also beat very strong so that I feel it sometimes in the hands. In addition, I feel a little nasty … so restless, shiver, cold very bad back pain shortness of breath … what actually I’m going back to Pola on Monday I’m totally healthy … I’ve been dragging myself from doctor to doctor and it’s all ok, even the blood circulation. These funny failures always come 3-4.5 hours after the intake of Subutex … the less I take the better I am and everything stops gradually.

Male, 33 years old, I get 0.6 mg a day Subutex prescribed the final bounce is unfortunately still missing. I started with 4mg about 1 year ago. At this time, just at the beginning, I noticed a headache, otherwise I was always someone who did not have a headache or rarely. In the later part of my treatment, I noticed that I had much more intense dreams than usual, when I woke up dreaming, I was always very confused. Now on 0.6 mg fall to me sexual disorders that naturally have a bad effect on my girlfriend, the sexual act works, only often it is so that only hot air comes with me, but which is still being investigated soon. My question to all who read this: How can I finally get the complete jump? who can tell me how long it lasts uncomfortable, I have tried it out and actually managed 4 days without it, but since I still had Subutex on my bag, I took something again on the 4th day. It’s just difficult to drag through the day when you’re not feeling well, I think you know it all, it starts on the second day with incredible cold then it goes on with a bad mood / good merrier take turns, then this yawning the whole day and at the end if everything annoys you then you start to sweat. I mean, who wants that? A bit annoying because I could do that two weeks ago but I was too soft and I could not resist the addiction, maybe I should have thrown away Subutex?

L-Polamidon: I first took methadone over a period of about 5 years with an average dosage of 40 mg / day. At the beginning of the treatment, the dosage was more than twice as fast, then I quickly reduced the amount of my own volition to 40 mg / day. I needed the last 2 years of the first treatment period of 5 years to reduce the dosage mg for mg to finally zero. After these 5 years of substitution therapy, I managed not to become physically addicted again for 4 years – after all. Side effect was severe sweating, loss of appetite and increased need for sleep. The biggest mistake I made, though, was that in between, on the 1st of the month, when there was money, I would always have a snack. That I have repeatedly activated my addiction center and therefore kept it latently alive, I repressed completely. I made something to myself and everyone else in my personal environment! The result was that I did not have to start a substitution therapy with L-Polamidon 5 years later, because otherwise I would not have been able to work and because I could not finance the increased consumption anymore. And I kept making the mistake of nibbling again and again in 3-4 week intervals. (what cute expression!) The problem was also the drug chosen. Initially, when the dosage is still quite high, you are pleasantly intoxicated. One would have to be satisfied, but that is not the case. You want more, I had so-called Beikonsum, the above on the daily methadone dose still a reinforcement of the pleasant, intentional state called out. After 5 more years, I realized that if I went on like this it would never get better – worse – because the frustration of having failed in life became stronger and stronger! There I learned from different sides of Subutex and its advantages. Subutex: After 5 years of stagnant substitution therapy with L-Polamidone, I was down to 25mg / day and was changed by my doctor at his own request. For a daily dose of 8 mg Subutex. What I knew before was that the Subutex had no intoxicating effect when properly dosed. You have a totally clear mind. An alleged disadvantage should be that it can not suppress depression as well as polamidone. As it turned out later, I did not have any more depression when I finally had a clear mind and clear mind. I used to be so sick of it because I was always under pressure! I had a couple of days off and a bit of a withdrawal from the switch, but now I can say that it was definitely worth it. I can only recommend Subutex. At first I had a few times Beikonsum with H., but hardly noticed something each time – the experience of success as on Polamidon – was missing. So I left it. The subutex blocks the opiate receptors correctly, unlike the polamidone, because the intoxication state increases, at the subutex it stays out. First one is disappointed, but the desire for further Beikonsum is less and less and the addiction pressure really disappears! Another advantage is that you can participate in the traffic again, and that is probably luxury!

Strangely enough, at the beginning, 4-5 years ago, I endured the Subutex well, but unfortunately, now that I have reduced to 1.8mg per day, I would now like to go down to 1.2mg, I always have a headache. no longer bear heat. and just screaming. then high blood pressure, previously low. more sleep. in the beginning it totally stopped, unfortunately not anymore. am more tired, sleep more than ever in my life. no more drive. Strangely enough, as a dose was higher, I had more drive. I also have hepatis c. In 9 years I have also increased from 45kg to 71kg.

Wanted Nemexin for anti-craving treatment (relapse protection). Because of the budgeting, etc., I got Subutex, although I was not (yet) back on it. Is a lazy compromise because I am now buprenorphin dependent. Even against the craving for alcohol it does not help in the long run. The naloxone in Suboxone does not tolerate alcohol well. It also weakens the effect somewhat, 5 mg Subutex = 6 mg Suboxone. So I returned to the Subutex. Nevertheless, both are very good drugs, I have no addiction pressure towards opiates and I am much more confident than without everything. Somehow something is always missing. Was altogether already almost 10 years totally abstinent. The permanent solution was not synonymous. Side effects such as sweating and mud pudding are really easy compared to methadone and other opioids. No depression. I initially had chest pain but not as much as Nemexin. The antidepressant effect that is often attributed to buprenorphine, it has not for me. But the depressive phases, which are a symptom of polytoxicomania, can eliminate it, since eventually the cause is effectively treated. It is already a progress. When you think back to 20-30 years ago, a utopia became reality.

I have a total de-poisoning behind me. I have of all o.g. Medicines withdrawn. My inflammation was still so EXTREME from the Subutex & amp; especially from the diazepam. I could not help but go back to the doctor to have Subutex prescribed again. Having been a drug addict for 22 years, I have now realized that after 5 weeks of detoxification and then renewed substitution, I have accepted it for my life that I will always need Subutex. I think Subutex is very good – but it also has its dark side – just like the dependency of the Subutex itself and the pharmacy and not least the doctor of course. Since Diazepam work differently with me, as with normal use, I can only say that the agent has me really under control! I’m clean from everything! Only this shit Benzos I can not get away. About 15 years ago I took 1000 pieces from the doctor in 14 days. And was heavy wide. That was 100St. a10mg a day … DO NOT take BEZODIAZIPINE WITH SUBUTEX! I just want to tell everyone here – please do not take the stuff if you do not get it! It is very addictive! For AOPNAL I can only say that I do not notice! Since the Diazepam makes aggressive & amp; Aponate is an antidepressant, it is probably relaxing! I just wanted to do this post. REMAINS HEALTHY AND CLEAN ALL THAT CAN

So, every day, after about five months, I felt addicted .Now I have been pulling for two years.I have found that I have very strong sweating and Tohoraxoschmerzen (mostly severe chest pain). My sex life is still filled but have difficulties to come to a climax. Although I do not exceed 3/4 – 1.0 mg Subu ziehe. Also not much, but it is enough to become dependent again. Weight gain, lack of drive, sometimes fatigue, water retention, flaky scalp, Schweisausbrüche, cravings for sweets. At Susutex in the beginning: hyperactive, insomnia, depression, addiction pressure on more, because you do not notice the effect, you have no withdrawal but also no turn. That’s why I switched back to Pola! A tip: Methadone o.Subutex only to withdraw, because it is very difficult to get rid of it! With me it is already 13 years and I see for me no end! Bites your teeth together and withdraws with Pola / Subutex. No long-term treatment begin! Diazepam: after 4 weeks I was dependent.Neeness, black-out, fatigue, confusion. 3 years ago I wanted to withdraw the methadone in the UPK Basel. The senior physician denied my intention because the statistics for relapses after delusions of long-term opiate addicts speak against them (long term only a few percent). But I was put on Subutex. After having suffered a small withdrawal, I feel much better today than with methadone. Lasts a long time – no physical and mental fluctuations – much less sweating. Beikonsum is no longer inside, because you feel even with Diorphin nothing more (200mg!). For people who want a clear head and no more craving! Disadvantage: price
