Mode of action of Amisulprid

Amisulpride belongs to the drug group of neuroleptics. These are substances that intervene in the nerve activity and thus the perception and the emotional life by changing the levels of messenger substances in the brain. Most (typical) neuroleptics have an effect on the messenger dopamine and its receptors.

Amisulpride as an atypical neuroleptic also inhibits other neurotransmitters and their binding sites in the brain, including serotonin. There are far fewer side effects than typical neuroleptics. Especially the movement disorders, but also tiredness occur much less frequently.

As an atypical neuroleptic, amisulpride has two effects:

  • It influences the “positive symptomatology”, that is, it dampens the delusions.
  • The “negative symptoms” are also reduced. That is, the social withdrawal, the isolation, the drive reduction and the flattening of the feelings of the patient is counteracted.

Solian for Thinking disorders; Hallucinations; Sleep disorders; Depression

In the beginning I was very tired, especially after taking the Trevilor. At the moment I take 150mg of retard. During the night, I noticed increased sweating. In some cases, restlessness was added. Melperone at a lower dose (50 mg) made me sleep well and I usually slept through at least 6 hours. At night I took 100mg Solian because of the disturbances of thinking and perceptual disorders as well as the prepsychotic experience, which proved to be very useful. Disadvantages are the constant nightmares, which let me run through the day as if damaged. Buspirone has helped me a lot against the fears so far, but opinions on this drug are very different. One doctor said it would tap on the same receptors as benzodiazepines, in other words, there was a danger of dependence. Another said there was no danger of dependency. In the end, it was up to my guts to continue or not. The combination of medicines mentioned here leads, even if only to a small extent, to weight gain. But covers essentially my symptoms and diseases. (Fears, thought disorders, cognitive disorders, BPS, post-traumatic stress disorder, sleep disorders, depressions, hallucinations, etc.)

    Solian for Delusion

At first very subdued and delusions were less or terminated, however, I later had a catastrophic psychosis, which have exceeded even my delusions. I have done and given things that I did not know about myself. I walked around in confusion on the street, chatting to everyone because I thought he had something to do with my resume. Then there was a panic attack where I thought it was going to end with me.

    Solian for Psychosis

150g Solian / day In the first week I could not sleep at night and was wide awake. After that, it was regulated quickly. The voices and horror scenarios in my head disappeared quickly and reliably and I was very clear and could focus well on my daily routine. As a side effect were cycle disorders (initially constantly bleeding, then letting the cycle) and a constant hunger. Had despite ever increasing amounts of food the feeling, nothing to have eaten. This gives 10 kg of weight gain. Since I had an eating disorder for a long time, this new, complete loss of control over eating and growing gradually led me to thoughts of suicide. Which is why I finally refused to continue taking the tablets. My doctor then slowly discontinued the drug, and since then, the voices and images have not occurred again (although the external conditions that have caused the crisis in my exams-etc. are now over).
