    Risperdal for Dementia; Delusion

My mother did not recognize me in part, slept almost the whole day, she ran aimlessly through the apartment at night and fumbled everywhere. Talked rather confused, heard voices and quarrels and ate very little. I took her to the clinic where, according to the doctor, she has been treated with Risperdal 0.2 mg daily for 5 weeks. When I visit her, she recognizes me, she is agile again, takes part in life and also wants to go back home. She still talks rather confused, but everything else has improved. I have not noticed any side effects, because the time is probably too short.

    Risperdal for Dementia

My husband did not sleep at all, just ran around the whole day and night, got aggressive, just walked over, spit out of his mouth. I then decided to take my husband to a clinic to take pills. He now gets Melperon and Seroquel. After 3 weeks I was able to pick him up and realized that I have a new husband. He sleeps again, laughs and talks, as good as it is again part.

    Risperdal for Dementia

The administration of the drug takes place in liquid form (as the tablet is refused by the patient or is associated with great difficulties). Risperidone should provide as much as possible for an inner peace and limit the night activity. Unfortunately I could not detect a really noticeable change by the drug so far. Recognizable side effects have not occurred so far.
