    Ramipril for High blood pressure

Due to my high blood pressure, my GP prescribed me Rampiril 7.5 mg in the morning and Rampiril 1.25 mg at night. My blood pressure readings returned to normal, but I suffered from severe coughing, and then I had heartache and shortness of breath with the least effort. 2 hours after taking the morning medication, I then had numbness in both arms and was sweating heavily at the slightest movement, already thought the menopause coming. But as I said, only after the medication. Oh yes, I have also gained some weight. …………… 🙁 Was now 3 weeks ago with my doctor, which has now changed me to Olmetec 20 mg and so far I’m great, I have quality of life again, I’m clear more active, without constant pain in the chest to have airlessness no longer exists and the numbness has disappeared, at the moment I am very well.

    Ramipril for High blood pressure

I am taking Ramipril 5/25 because of hypertension (98/170) for about 3 years. The blood pressure has gone down easily. I feel fine so far. Had earlier more urination in the evening, has become much better with Ramipril. But I am worried that I will suffer kidney damage after several years of taking it. At the first intake, I had numbness mainly in the face. I have this only now with very great excitement. At night, I often have fallen asleep hands, but my doctor leads back to my cervical vertebrae. When falling asleep I have coughing and scratching in my throat. I take a small peppermint candy in my mouth and fall asleep. My general condition is good.

    Ramipril for High blood pressure

At a blood pressure of 180/110 I started to take Ramipril 5 1a pharma. It went quite fast in the right direction and lowered super good. After about 1 month came the cough, depression, listlessness. I had to switch to candesartan and wait now. I hope that it does not bring me soooo many side effects.

Sleep disorder for 3 years. everything tastes nothing helped! Now in the sleep laboratory in Rechts von Isar in Munich. I should drop Rapril. After a week I can sleep better. Blood pressure is again 150/100. By weight loss I want to control this. It is further examined in the sleep laboratory. I have the feeling that I can sleep better now. No doctor has come up with the idea until the Prof. in the sleep laboratory that it could be due to Ramipril. I do not take ramipril now!

    Ramipril for High blood pressure

Because of blood pressure fluctuations, I got ramipril 2.5 mg prescribed. For 3 days I did not notice any effect, on the 4th day the cough came with a slight fall in blood pressure. After 5 days, the dosage was adjusted to 5 mg. Since that day, I got blue hands and the cough intensified. The blood pressure was still too high. After the wrists ached, the ramipril was discontinued.

    Ramipril for High blood pressure

Have had good experiences with Ramipril 2/25. Bred down my blood pressure to a healthy level and got on well with my other medications. Since October 2009 I have had to take Femara and unfortunately this has resulted in a cross effect with the Ramipril: constant dry cough, coughing, hoarse voice. As a result, my doctor gave me a new blood pressure-lowering drug: Provas 160 maxx. Since I take this medicine, the constant cough / coughing is gone. CONCLUSION: A cancer patient, who has to take Femara and is suffering from hypertension, is well served with Provas 160 maxx.
