Effect of Ramipril

Ramipril belongs to the drug group of ACE inhibitors. The substance is given in a non-active form and must first be converted into the active form of ramiprilat in the body. Such agents are called prodrugs.

Once converted into ramiprilat, the drug inhibits the production of the body’s blood pressure-boosting hormone angiotensin. In addition, Ramipril promotes the excretion of water and salts from the body, which reduces the blood volume and thereby pressure from the vessels. In addition, Ramipril inhibits the breakdown of bradikinin, an endogenous substance that relaxes the blood vessels. All of these effects together produce a significant reduction in blood pressure.

Ramipril only needs to be taken once a day. Its effect lasts about 48 hours. However, it does not start until one or two hours after taking it.

The active substance is predominantly excreted via the kidney. Therefore, the attending physician should reduce the dose in patients with severe renal impairment and urinary output.

    Ramipril for High blood pressure

The blood pressure is now okay, but the side effects are intolerable. I am extremely weak and short of breath. Every now and then I feel good for half an hour or an hour, but that’s only for a short time, then it goes downhill again. There is also a slight nausea and dizziness, which increases when you get up. Overall, I feel most of the day as if my head were packed in cotton. In the course of the day, there are still sensations on the hands and feet, which luckily have always disappeared quite quickly. Writing this report is extremely difficult because I do not get the keys right. All in all a not very nice condition. I am voluntarily renouncing driving, which is supposed to mean something. How I should work like that is just a complete mystery to me.

Ramipril for Heart rhythm disturbances; High blood pressure

The hypotensive effect of bisoprolol, amlodipine, captopril and ramipril is unpredictable and varies according to mood. That’s why I need to check blood pressure and heart rate regularly. There are now also very good electronic blood pressure monitors that warn at the same time of arrhythmias and atrial fibrillation. The hypotensive effect of Nitrolingual Acute Spray in a hypertensive emergency is excellent and can be achieved within a few minutes. The acid-inhibiting effect of omeprazole is excellent. This drug is also freely available in pharmacies. For benzodiazepines, such as bromazepam, extreme caution is required because of the risk of dependency. Luckily, I have never had withdrawal symptoms. Is probably genetic and extremely rare. As a rule, withdrawal of benzodiazepines is more difficult and protracted than alcohol or even heroin withdrawal. Otherwise, this drug works wonders for me. It lowers the blood pressure in addition to the antihypertensive drugs and helps me even in depression and of course in anxiety disorders to panic attacks. However, this drug works differently in every human being and triggers severe mental and physical dependency on most people. So, extreme caution when taking the substance group of benzodiazepines! I know enough people who could ever get away from benzodiazepines with great difficulty, if any. Very few people, to whom I also thank God, have the great fortune to be able to sell this medicine group safely and without horrible withdrawal symptoms. However, I do not take this medication regularly and not in large doses. The effect of this drug decreases very rapidly with prolonged use because the body is slowing down the production of GABA. Ergo with decreasing effect on no case increase the dose, but better to take a longer break! Then the preparation also works again as desired. This group of substances can also lead to atypical effects.

    Ramipril for High blood pressure

At first, I had no side effects that I noticed. Fortunately, blood pressure returned to normal levels. Then I had very strong nocturnal urination – all half, until one hour I had to go to the bathroom. In between, I already ran out. Then I had increasingly leg cramps and cramps in the thigh. I do not dare to turn back at night because I have to put my legs to it. I lie with my legs outstretched and my toes still drawn to prevent a leg cramp. I’m really scared of it. And irritating coughing bjis towards suffocation. Looks like I do not like Ramipril at all. I forgot to take the drug a few times. In retrospect, I noticed that I at least did not run out during these nights, and had no leg cramps

    Side effects: Nocturnal urine; Cough

    Ramipril for High blood pressure

Cough, pressure in the chest, malaise, poor eyesight, dizziness, these symptoms I have for 5 days. Cardiologist had prescribed candesartan basics 4mg for me !!! General practitioner has simply switched to Ramipril 2.5 mg !!! My family doctor has been extremely excited about how the cardiologist prescribes these tablets, one always starts with ramipril. She would not prescribe the tablets to me, then I would have to go to the cardiologist and get a prescription. At this time I did not understand all that. So I took Ramipril u. the others dropped off. Now I feel bad see above home I read on the Internet that the cardiologists’ tablets are 4-5 times more expensive than Ramipril

I take half a 5mg in the morning and in the evening. Mild to strong eyes and headache. Itching and stinging in the eyes and dehydration of the mucous membranes especially in the eye and resulting infections in the eye. About 30 minutes after the intake, the vision is reduced by a veil in the eyes. Mild to severe tiredness. Gel coloration of the eye white, deterioration of the liver values (jaundice, jaundice). Rarely occurring kidney pain. I stopped ramipril after a year, all symptoms gradually disappeared. The blood pressure naturally increased again. After about 6 months ramipril free, I started taking it again and all the tormenting symptoms started again. Conclusion: terrible side effects !!!

Side effects: Poor eyesight; Headache; Fatigue

    Ramipril for High blood pressure

I had previously taken RamiLich from Winthrop, because I had no side effects. Now I have a new pack of 1A Pharma for 2 weeks. Unfortunately the numbness started after the 3rd day of the intake and is present for 1 week and it starts to disturb me more and more. It is my left foot under the sole to half, with the little toe numb and under pressure it tingles a lot and feels like sleepy feet, but unfortunately does not go away.

    Side effects: Deafness feeling

Unfortunately I have after 2 tablets, the newly prescribed by the doctor, Ramipril 5mg of 1A pharma a numbness in the left foot. This lasts for 1 week and is increasingly annoying us annoying. The half left foot sole with the little toe and partly the next to it are asleep deaf. While running, it does not bother us yet, but when touched or pressed, it tingles noticeably and is numb. I will go to the doctor next week and ask for the change of the manufacturer. at the beginning pack RamiLich of winthrop I had no problems. Pity about the opened pack and the limited well-being.

    Ramipril for High blood pressure

Due to my high blood pressure, my GP prescribed me Rampiril 7.5 mg in the morning and Rampiril 1.25 mg at night. My blood pressure readings returned to normal, but I suffered from severe coughing, and then I had heartache and shortness of breath with the least effort. 2 hours after taking the morning medication, I then had numbness in both arms and was sweating heavily at the slightest movement, already thought the menopause coming. But as I said, only after the medication. Oh yes, I have also gained some weight. …………… 🙁 Was now 3 weeks ago with my doctor, which has now changed me to Olmetec 20 mg and so far I’m great, I have quality of life again, I’m clear more active, without constant pain in the chest to have airlessness no longer exists and the numbness has disappeared, at the moment I am very well.
