    Prednisolone for Optic nerve inflammation

My retrobulb neuritis started on Nov 14, and so far it is not completely gone. I first got 100 mags of prednisolone a day, then I would be pumped full of 1000mg on 3days at the hospital. You dismissed me with the words you do not need cortisone, which then immediately made negative, eyesight worse again and the side effects hammer: restlessness, tachycardia, rash, soreness, sweating, and distorted perception, oh and of course very, very heavy legs .A conclusive finding of the drawn nerve water is still outstanding, MRI Uunauffällig.Im February I have to go back to the KH, again all the investigations. But think there is nothing, only I would like to finally be able to see properly again!

Side effects: Sweat; Skin rash; Unrest; Palpitations

    Prednisolone for Optic nerve inflammation

Extreme side effects after switching from 5 x 1 g cortisol shock therapy iV for optic nerve inflammation. Afterwards, reduce from 225 g to 0 in 14 days. No sleep possible at the changeover, extreme mood swings (euphoria / nervous breakdown). Extreme motivation / urge to move. Walk around for hours with simultaneous physical exhaustion and high weight loss. Afterwards giant appetite (at first 8 kg lost in one week, then increased again in 2 weeks). Loss of taste (salt without taste, only greasy / sweet recognizable). tremendous joint pain in the knees in the middle of the night shortly before the end of the reaming. Feels like a vise. In sum, the most intense physical experience so far – and that really means something.

Prednisolone for Sweat; Optic nerve inflammation

Well, it all started with an optic nerve inflammation in my right eye that caused me to hardly see anything on that one. As a result, I was first treated in the hospital with an infusion therapy. On day 1 there were 500mg and the following 3 then 1000mg cortisin infusion. It’s a nice bomb. After that, the whole thing is slowly being reduced. Am now at 100mg in tablet form (Aprednislon à 25mg) and the neuritis is gone. Until 05.11.2010 the cortisone is completely gone. Since it is not clear to me (yet), where this neuritis has stirred, so that is a short-term report on cortisone. It may be a mild form of MS, but my case history also suggests other things that would have been less acute but no less appealing to the body (and my soul!)! So, the only thing that bothers me about the cortisone is the extreme sweating. You also have to be careful with the food, but you can beat the whole thing, if you cook in his hunger good and healthy and thus causes the body to burn even more fat! Do not laugh, I even managed to lose 6 kilos (!). The water is of course in some places (eg in my knees and face), but I reduce body fat by what I eat, fun way;) Have suddenly changed my diet and thus both improved my life, as well as this Side effects of cortisone (more hunger!) Into positive. As far as my report, more about it when it is discontinued. Your Max
