Prednisolone for Collagen defect
Due to the drug, unfortunately, I got the well-known full moon face in a short time, and gained a lot of weight. Whether it is extra weight or water retention, I can not say exactly, but I feel very uncomfortable in the form. In addition, I often had severe headaches at the beginning of treatment. Otherwise, the drug acts like doping, you are wide awake and can not sleep well. If the illness were not so painful, I would immediately give up the drug.
Side effects: Full moon face; Headache; Increase in weight

Prednisolone for Collagen defect
Suffering from mixed connective tissue disease for 9 years. Have tried different poisons like Quensyl and Mobec. Did not help against the disease, but was dead by side effects. For 9 years I live with azathioprine and prednisolone in combi, taking daily. Things are going great. Liver and renal values are fantastic, but Leyko’s are dangerously low (often below 3,000). Unfortunately, prednisolone is slowly getting on its bones. But I have many complaints such as sun allergy, fungal diseases of the vagina and constant colds barely. The rheumatic problems went so far back that I can now do without half a year without cortisone and half with azathioprine.
Side effects: Fungal infection; Infection-susceptibility
