    Paroxetine for Mood swings

Hello to each other, for me a very clear and clear NO to this drug. Have taken about 4-5 years and 20 mg, because of strong mood swings, problems with work … disease in the family, etc .. !!! My doctor recommended – without hesitation – paroxetine 20 mg. Very much trusted in the experience of my doctor !!! To start with, problems, wide range … learned to LIVE. Until I got severe cramps in the face and jaw area. Nobody found the cause, neither general practitioner nor the neurologist. Again and again to the doctor and on WE in acute cramps to the rescue. I talked to over and over again the intake of this drug, asked for side effects. No matter these concerns were ignored !!! In December 2014, I set the dose from 20 mg to 10 mg. Then it went half a year without convulsions. Until I had to 10 days after about 4 hours of massive convulsions back to the rescue. This time, the doctor immediately pulled a neurologist to the HELP, a young assistant doctor immediately recognized the possibility of intolerance of an active ingredient of paroxetine. After a short telephone conversation with her chief physician, she injected me with an antidote. This worked within a few minutes. Result: IMMEDIATE discontinuation of paroxetine. This is now 10 days ago …. terrible symptoms of withdrawal, such as dizziness, chills, sweats, acute diarrhea. not able to work !!! BUT I want to and must go through it and believe that I have managed the worst. Walks and activities in the fresh air make the head freeWish everyone a lot of strengthLb. Regards Heidi

    Paroxetine for Social phobia; Depression

Have in recent years already made very good experiences with paroxetine.have taken it then over 1 year. Now I’m back at the beginning, so the side effects are quite annoying at the beginning. But with the time (I think 2.3 weeks) that’s fine. Side effects with me (at the beginning): Muscle twitching, loss of appetite, stomach rumbling, dilated pupils, twists, insomnia, tremor, dizziness (reads worse than it is 🙂 Despite the side effects just beginning treatment with paroxetine, I can recommend this drug .Ideal for me, because it treats many illnesses at the same time. With the settling I did not have the problems that are always so described, good is probably different from person to person. I had alcohol at the time as a crutch to settle, of course net is so great.

Was turned on by the drug Paroxetine very much and could not fall asleep at all. My fears did not improve even after 3 months of use, my mood has improved a bit, but due to the unbelievable inner restlessness and chafing I had to stop the medication.

I got on really well with Paroxetine … I was fine except for short lows. At the beginning of the treatment I suffered from sleep disturbances and hot flashes. After 1-2 weeks everything had normalized. Unfortunately, it caused a strong libido disorder. In order not to jeopardize my relationship, I switched to Elontril with medical supervision.

At a daily dose of 20mg the symptoms disappeared after 2 weeks. However, an increase in concentration deficiency, forgetfulness and constipation was the negative side of the side effect. In addition, insensitive, listless and tired. After snaking I fell into a kind of mania – the desire to buy -. In the meantime after 2 months everything under control again.

Paroxetine for Post-traumatic stress disorder; Obsessive compulsive disorder; Depression

I suffer for 3 years in a strong trauma consequential disorder, including panic attacks, anxiety, isolation, etc. After felt 50 different medications, including in 3 months hospital stay, that was once again a grip in the toilet. The only thing I notice is that I am going up like a yeast dumpling – 20 kilos in 4 months without eating anymore (my appetite has decreased rather). I always hoped that something would change. Of course, I’m also outpatient in therapy, but that does not work at all. I’m barely getting out of bed in the morning, have trouble concentrating & amp; I feel impulsive. Sure, it will be different for every person, but I’ll keep my hands off that from now on.

    Paroxetine for Social phobia; Depression

In hindsight, the effect was actually not as bad as I felt while taking it. I was heavily dazed, everything that happened around me was secondary, I was just happy about the silence, the thoughts gone away and the feelings no longer perceptible. This scared me a little while taking it and made me a lot harder in my everyday life. Duration of administration: 5 weeks Dosage: 1-0-0 (40mg) Side effects: Insomnia, tachycardia, nosebleeds and the unique, strange feeling of not being able to reach orgasm. I could scrape off as I wanted. : D

    Paroxetine for Depression

I have (and still do) seek medical help because of my depression, aggression / strong negative fluctuating mood, lack of motivation, migraine headaches (0-4 / week) and anxiety about the future. I was given paroxetine, which I have been taking for a month now. The first 2-3 weeks 1/2 tablet (10mg) now a 3/4. I imagine having noticed positive changes after just over a week. My mood swings are not so strong anymore – the anger is muffled. I’m in a better mood. Likewise, I’ve become more active, seeking employment all day long. Sometimes I even have the feeling of being under power. Maybe that’s synonymous with the additional coffee ^ ^. I am less hungry and eat more consciously somehow. Overall, I feel a lot more comfortable in my own skin. The pessimism has also become less. I hardly had any side effects. I often had headaches / migraines before paroxetine and the first good week, and now hardly / no longer for 2-3 weeks. I’ve noticed that I always put pressure on my jaw when I concentrate, which becomes painful over time. Likewise, I wake up more often at night and I feel like I’m getting tired early. Where, early you can hardly say. I sleep far too long and constantly overhear my alarm clocks or get them only very subconsciously. The latter annoys me a lot, otherwise I am satisfied. I will increase the dose soon to 20mg and let’s see what changes.

    Side effects: Sleeping problems; Headache

    Paroxetine for Depression

The first weeks immediately 20mg were hell !! Duration of anxiety and daily mehrmlas panic attacks! I thought I was the worst person in the world, trembling, totally tingling inside, strong jaw muscles in the jaw muscles and cervical muscles, weakness (shaky legs), dizzy without end, twitching in the head and cervical to shoulder, bad thoughts persistently but never had suicidal thoughts! – I think a slower dose increase is better! Weight gain (about 13 kg), I do not know exactly if it comes only from the tablets, or, as I was much better: increased appetite – finally enjoy life again?!) I could eat, eat, eat .. … was active again ….. got my life settled .. felt very well, could relax – the head was empty – without constant self-talk and worries about this and that After weeks of taking: like newborn !! Everything was gone !!!

Hello dear ones, also I take paroxetine for about 1 year …….. it is a remedy which helps against the cause itself well, but the side effects are violent ……. have already tried it but it needed it again. What bothered me the most, are the crazy dreams ….. you wake up in the morning and is totally at the end. I feel as if I would run a marathon every night … during the day I am then very exhausted and could sleep for hours …… who knows this problem and knows what you can do better? Greetings Bille
