Hello, I’m a real stone from the heart, after I read here from the many testimonials and mine are so very similar! Pro for Mirena is the lack of menstruation and the elimination of troublesome pill intake. Unfortunately, the list of the Contra is much longer. Massive hair loss, fast-drying hair, pimples, irritability, restlessness, tachycardia, digestive problems and the worst of all the enormous weight gain (18kg). My breasts are swollen from 70c to 85d and always with tense pains like milk after breastfeeding. But not only the breasts are like the end of the pregnancy and my stomach now looks like I’m 9 months pregnant. I eat very healthy, do sports but the weight is not significantly reduce. My baby bump is stuck. In the summer I was often asked when it was so far (birth). That made me so insecure that I let myself be tested for a brotherhood. My friend has since left me he was tired of my eternal irritation. Then I must mention here that I am only tired, which I attributed to my sleep disorders, for which I could find no sustainable explanation. I’ve always had the suspicion that it might be related to the spiral, but all the physicians I interviewed said it was always negative. On the contrary, I always heard the opposite, the spiral has a positive effect on the skin, hair and the aging process of a woman. On Friday I have the appointment and I will free myself from Mirena lasting! I wish I had found this site here rather nice, then I would have spared a lot of suffering. I was able to move my new partner to a vasectomy in August. Now only sperm light is available and I can finally get rid of this monster! Never again!

I would strongly advise against the Mirena Hormone Spiral! The side effects are enormous! Moreover, they were concealed by my gynecologist, I did not get a leaflet. Also, it is not true that the hormone spiral only acts locally. The uterus is extremely well supplied with blood, the hormones are distributed throughout the body and try an enormous chaos. The common feature was that the side effects gradually crept in and – because I knew nothing about side effects – could not be associated with the Mirena. I had the first Mirena set in 2000. The insertion was horror-painful (no birth yet) and the pain lasted at least a week and I thought to get them out again immediately, but at least it had cost 300 marks. Then the pain subsided and the bleeding also subsided over time. It all seemed great and yet – I am clear today – the first side effects already arose after some time: – pigmentation on the face (brown spots) – morning sickness – swindle – whiskers on the chin 2006 Then it was time for the next Mirena , Since the threads were not findable and a “rum punch” of a FA was a horror trip and I almost collapsed, the change had to be made under general anesthesia. Everything went well, pain soon subsided. About 1 ½ years later we started: – Uncontrollable weight gain (“lifebuoy”, belly swelling, how pregnant) of altogether 11 kg in 3 years !!! I had always been slim and slim and this weight gain weighed heavily, especially because I could not do anything about it – water retention in the legs, venous problems – Increased cellulite – Libido loss (almost zero) – eye deterioration, printed blurred, veils in front of the lenses, sudden and vehemently occurring presbyopia (since I always had great eyes and never glasses, this experience was also a horror for me) – food intolerances – cold and heat sensitivity – digestive problems – hard lymph nodes under the armpits and in the groin – orange stinking discharge – Reinforced dark hair on the lower legs – sciatica, lumbago – migraine – neck tension – evening leg cramps – rheumatism-like discomfort in the left shoulder – painful itchy pimples on the neck and chin area In addition, I developed some mental problems, but I mainly a p attributed to traumatic stress disorder (sexual violence experiences in childhood): – panic attacks – tightness and choking on the neck – listlessness, listlessness, depression

I already had the 3 Mirena insert, because I have tolerated the previous good. Since I have the 3, the side effects have increased significantly. Have indigestion, constant bloating, mood swings, cyst formation, blurred vision, loss of libido (was previously even zero) and for a week, the stomach is so swollen, as if I was pregnant. I thought at the beginning I have something with the stomach / intestine. Have also done a lot of research (stomach / colonoscopy, food intolerance test, stool samples, diet change) and nothing came out. Only when I was more concerned with the side effects of Mirena, I have come to the conclusion that this may have to do with the spiral. I’ll let them go this week as well. From my experience, I can say, although I was satisfied for a long time, the side effects, although not equal, but noticeable over time, even if you do not recognize the same. After all, there are hormones that are eliminated and they can not be healthy. I will not let them use any more.

    Mirena for Contraception

NW: panic attacks, hot flushes, extreme nausea, heart rhythm disturbances, sleep disturbances, depressive mood, irritability, aggressiveness, visual disturbances, loss of appetite, taste and smell went away, libido was zero, the feeling of being constantly energized, digestive disorders, PMDD, muscle tension, constant Fatigue and weakness. The fact is: AFTER the removal all NW were better or disappeared completely. Quality of life is restored !! Mirena is NOT ONLY LOCAL, as many doctors advertiseMirena robbed me of 9 years of my life! More infos in hormonspiralenforum or on fb. 1000s of women with the same NW do not conceive of them (as doctors often say): /

So girls, after I’ve finally noticed that the HS can be responsible for my complaints, I would like to describe my experiences with Mirena here: I have in 2007 the first Mirena and 2012 set the second. The onset was rather little painful and good to endure. Now, I have gradually changed over the years! I am joyless, aggressive, have mood swings, suffer from anxiety and panic attacks, fast tachycardia, digestive problems, dizziness, hot flashes, headaches, back pain, my breasts are so sensitive that you can hardly adjust them and the desire for sex is completely gone! I would never have associated the Mirena with it, but then I got severe abdominal pain and constant bleeding. My gyn was currently on vacation, so I could not get an appointment right away. After a while, it was less and I thought: Ok, then everything is fine again! But then it started again and I once entered Google: Bleeding despite Mirena! Then I came across the various forums and must say: I WAS RELATED! It was as if the women’s reports came from me! I could virtually class myself with all the side effects described! I could not believe it and then I’m gyn. Diagnosis: uterine infection! … basically, this was still missing to complete the list of side effects! I told him that I fear the Mirena is responsible. He said that he would not believe that, not even the other complaints. I told him that it does not matter if he believes it! I believe it and that’s more important! I could not let the Mirena because of the strong inflammation on this day. Had me for a new appointment. Unfortunately I could not comply with this because of dizziness and panic attacks (basically strange! Can not fix the cause, because the complaints do not allow it) and now have the appointment for pulling today. I would never recommend anyone to the Mirena again! I would never have dreamed that she might possibly be the culprit of my problems! I thought I was absolutely psycho and needed therapy 🙁 I seriously thought of going into psychiatric treatment to return to normal life, I hope … and believe …. that my complaints So, to everyone who might be thinking of having an HS inserted! Stay away! Any other method of contraception is better !! Vg, Nicole
