Keppra for Astrocytoma; Epilepsy
Illness: Epilepsy as a result of a brain tumor (astrocytoma II) For 3 months I take Keppra. Fatigue was the main side effect during the creep phase, so I’m fine with that. Concentration could be better. The Ausschleichphase of carbammazepine is completed in 2 weeks. Previously, I took 10 years of carbamazepine. The side effects were: fatigue, concentration and speech disorders, loss of libido, forgetfulness and mood reduction. At the end, there was a massive skin irritation (hives).
Side effects: Libido loss; Language disorders; Concentration disorders; Fatigue

Due to a brain surgery (astrocytoma) I have had to take Keppra in order to curb concomitant symptoms (eg epileptic seizure) and must confess that it worked well for me.
Side effects: Memory disorders; Insomnia; Acne
Keppra for Astrocytoma
I can only recommend Keppra. Since I get these pills, I have no more seizures. I had previously received carbamazepine and still had seizures almost daily. Since I take Keppra in combination with lamotrigine I am seizure free. I can not talk about side effects. On the contrary. Finally I am myself again!
Side effects: No side effects
