Effect of Apixaban

Apixaban belongs to the group of active substances of the anticogulants and prevents the fast coagulation of the blood. The substance is effective when ingested and temporarily, directly and highly inhibits the activity of a major factor in blood coagulation, Factor Xa. Apixaban influences the activity of the free and already in blood clots bound factor. Through its influence, the active substance also indirectly inhibits the enzyme which causes the platelet-derived coagulation factor thrombin from prothrombin. In addition, however, apixaban has no direct effects on platelet aggregation. Due to its properties, apixaban prevents the formation of thrombin and the formation of blood clots, without hindering the rest of the blood clotting, for example in case of injury.

    Eliquis for Thrombosis

Hello I have been set on Eliqis 5mg for incompatibility of Macumar. I am very happy with it. Alone the quality of life increases considerably by the fact that you do not have to pay attention so extremely to the diet. I do not have to keep getting set to the Quick / inr value. Once every 3 to 5 days to the doctor now only once a month. I feel much freer about it. The only drawback I have after the conversion only 10 of the 18kg which I had increased by macumar again removed …. But better than before

    Side effects: No side effects

    Eliquis for Stroke

take Eliquis after occlusion of the posterior left carotid artery (vertebralis) and thereby triggered stroke without neg. effects. Eliquis is said to mitigate the risk of thrombosis. I have moderate hair loss (hair in the bed), intestinal problems with blood in the stool, occasionally severe headaches (1x month) and a certain feeling of weakness. I am planning to drop the drug because I have concerns about kidney / liver damage. The doctors are not at all sure about the treatment.

I’m taking Eliquis 5 mg now for years. What I’ve noticed is that I’ve also had hair loss, weight gain, lack of air, listlessness, chest pressure, and most of all, inner and outer shakiness. My pulse has recently gone crazy by sporadically shooting upwards. As a result, I sweat, wet palms form. Whether all this has to do with Eliquis, I do not know. Only s makes me gradually depressed because the general condition is not great.

After 19 months of use From Eliquis I now have the feeling that something in the leg muscles / sinews / connective tissue has settled, which does not belong there. In addition, I have, to make matters worse, a permanent, latent spasm in both calves. Who has similar experiences with Eliquis ????

My father has been suffering from VHF for 2 years. So far, he has been treated with Macumar. His family doctor turned him over to Eliquis after a knee surgery was required. Since then he is no longer the old one. Driveless and moody. It does not come from the knee. Was only a knee reflex without findings.
