Mode of action of bisacodyl

Bisacodyl is an active substance that only works after a transformation in the body. It is converted to the liver by the liver after ingestion and excreted in the intestine. There intestinal bacteria split the active ingredient into the actually effective diphenol. Diphenol, for its part, increases intestinal activity and draws water into the intestine, which softens, loosens and makes it easier to excrete the stool.

Furthermore, bisacodyl stimulates the intestinal wall musculature. Intestinal movements are thereby promoted, the chair is transported faster towards the rectum and thus the bowel movement is initiated.

Bisacodyl can be taken as well as used as a suppository. When taken on an empty stomach in the morning, the effect occurs after about six hours, in the evening after five to ten hours. When used as a suppository, the defecation begins after 15 to 60 minutes.

Draining worked reasonably quickly. However, I had the feeling that not everything came out. 20 hours after that constant stool urgency combined with severe pain. But only mucus comes. Will not use the Dulcolax suppository on any case, Will try it at best with oral method. I also have the feeling that a part of the Kotsäule is pushed back in the intestine, thus later maturing emptying may be delayed.

    Dulcolax for Hurt

I took 1 duclorax dragee as described before going to bed in the evening. Maybe to me I am 19 years young about 1.70 tall and weigh about 55 kg which is not very much. The night after the ingestion was the horror I woke up every 2 hours because of violent stomach cramps. Then in the morning we went off I could easily empty but my whole day was accompanied by pain in the stomach and cramps I had to run all day about 15 to 20 times to the toilet, with food and drink was not, that’s just me slipped through. The second night I had a little more sleep which was not really relaxing because I still woke up to cramps and added a bit dizzy and uncomfortable. The second morning we went on, I was in the 2 hours, accompanied by cramps on the toilet. With breakfast there was nothing that wanted to resist. The chair had liquefied in the meantime, but it was still in action and accompanied by very strong cramps. It was not until around noon on the 2nd day that it got better and I only had pain now and then in my stomach. Until the evening it was mostly completely decayed and the night I could sleep against the chair was still liquid. My conclusion: I will not take duclorax dragees and recommend it to nobody they work quite well but accompanied by such violent side effects, it is worth in no case.

    Dulcolax for Hurt

Most of them are totally to blame. It says in the description that after 6-12 hours the effect of admission. Why do you take that at 6 o’clock? It is logical that the effect is very likely to start in the middle of the night .. I can only shake my head. I had abdominal pain because I did not have it for three or four days. Had a bowel movement. I took two dragees at about 22:20 so the effect started as desired only at 7 o’clock in the morning. The drug stimulates the intestinal muscles .. so it is clear that you get cramps. Me, my stomach and my irritable bowel are sensitive and still .. ambulance? Really now? Lol … For me, the intestine then emptied .. only a little thick then totally liquid. And that was it. Am 15mun sat on the toilet for safety because I would have to move closer .. I’m now in the train and hope it does not come to an emptying;) all in all, totally OK. Read the leaflet better people then you save the whining B)

    Dulcolax for Bowel dysfunction

Since I suffer from a fructose intolerance and also dairy products rather poorly tolerated, my bowel has been lazy again lately and I can 4-5 + days not on the toilet and no later than the 4th, it is uncomfortable. This does not bother me at home, but now it was time for a holiday in France. Since I usually on vacation worse on the toilet, I have worried me from the pharmacy Dulcolax suppositories. According to advertising yes very well tolerated! I chose the suppositories because I wanted to achieve a short and fast effect. Alright, as expected I could not go to the bathroom for 4 days on vacation. So I decided to take a suppository in the morning, then start the day fresh and empty of energy! The application went so far quite well, but right after the introduction of the suppository I had to wonder about an unpleasant burning. The bowel movement was also quite quick – so far, so good. Shortly thereafter, however, I noticed a weird laziness and dizziness and dizziness that lasted all day! I really messed up the day. The upper joke is, however, that it bubbled throughout the stomach, worse than before the stool! Even after the meal I had severe problems! So it did not work at all! Conclusion: Stay away from Dulcolax unless you want to mess up the day !!! The drug is filth and has completely missed its effect for me.

Two days after a hip TEP I was given (64) & another freshly operated (75 spine) per 2Dragees DULCOLAX. (no mg indication). The co-patient fainted after 4 hours, suffered several hours of severe nausea, was unconscious & amp; had u.a. also defecation. I had unbelievable abdominal pain for 14 (!) Hours, vomited several times, had a bloated belly like a watermelon and could NOT use the toilet. In addition to the fact that such a heavy drug must not be administered to freshly operated people (negligent), the extent of the side effects seems unbearable to me. The agent should be off the market.

    Dulcolax for Constipation

Dulolax, suppositories, for moderate constipation, take only a HALF suppository if you choose. I’m just behind me. As stated, the effect occurred (for me) after 5-10 min … before it starts you get an uncomfortable feeling in the abdomen. Then come wave-like very strong cramps, it burns as if you had eaten chilli. You can feel how the bowel begins to work massively, he pushes again and again, although the bowel is already empty. After 1 hour the horror was over. I am a bit swimmish before my eyes, very lightly. I had noticed, however, that half suppositories came out again, ohh god, I would still suffer if it had completely dissolved. In the future, if at all, I try a quarter, or a half suppository, but certainly not more …. I do not survive ….

    Dulcolax for Constipation

I took 1 dragee at eleven o’clock last night. At 6 o’clock in the morning I noticed that the intestine started to work. An hour later, I went to the bathroom and tried to breathe the pain away. But the colic got worse and worse. I got unusually heavy sweat, as I rarely sweat. I was dripping wet. There were also flat hectic breathing and heart racing. Finally, I had a feeling of being weightless and transparent. Working in nursing, I quickly realized that I had collapsed. I got scared, because after a short breather it all started again. After about 30 – 45 minutes the horror was over. I’ll never touch that devil stuff again.

    Dulcolax for Constipation

I took dulcolax again last night as I once again suffered from a prolonged constipation. I took a dragee last night at 20:00 and went to sleep. At 4, I was awakened by very strong abdominal cramps, which I have since I dulcolax about every 2 months already used to have. When I was finally able to defecate my stomach at around 5 o’clock, the abdominal cramps that were really violent once again remained as expected. At 6 I thought I was done and could go back to bed as usual, but what happened next I wish nobody. I got an infernal pain that had nothing to do with stool. It was like blowing, only a strong stinging and nausea. I started to howl with pain and could barely walk, lie or sit. Nevertheless, I dragged myself on the toilet again, but what I saw there was not a stoop but blood. Of course, then I got to my extreme pain also panic. The whole thing I kept until 8 am under tears and then taken several buscopan tablets in the hope that the pain could go away. By 9 o’clock the pain had become a bit less and I was able to fall asleep. However, I was just half an hour after falling asleep again awake because I had to go back to the toilet, fortunately, almost without pain. Now 14 hours after taking and the worst night of my life, the cramps are almost gone but I’m still not really good. I would recommend this zeugs nobody, let the fingers of it !!

Considering the fact that my bowel has indeed emptied, I can not live with the side effects! I took Dulcolax in the evening; Then they worked for 12 hours. However, I had a circulatory collapse associated with nausea and cold sweat on the skin. Only when the intestine was finally empty, my condition improved a little. Then I went back to bed and had chills for two hours. All in all: extremely unpleasant !! Have the dragees immediately thrown in the trash.
