About Cymbalta

Duloxetine has four uses:

    • In doses from 20 to a maximum of 40 milligrams, the active substance is used in women for the treatment of moderate to severe urinary incontinence of the stress or stress type. In the case of stress incontinence, the urinary bladder closure is weakened. An increase in pressure, such as occurs when sneezing, coughing, laughing or carrying loads overwhelmed the closure and it comes to involuntary urine output. Stress incontinence, one of the most common types of urinary incontinence, is more common in women than in men. Pregnancy, natural births, connective tissue weakness and aging processes cause the disease.
    • In dosages of 30 to a maximum of 60 milligrams, the drug is used to treat generalized anxiety disorders.

At doses of 60 to a maximum of 120 milligrams, duloxetine is used to treat moderate to severe depression and

  • Nerve pain as part of a diabetes mellitus (diabetic polyneuropathy).

What is the purpose of this ingredient?

    • Increase muscle tension of the bladder sphincter
    • Promote urinary bladder occlusion
    • Increase the resilience of the bladder sphincter
    • release anxiety
    • lighten depressive moods
    • Breastfeeding pain in diabetic neuropathy

This is how Duloxetine works

Below you will learn more about the fields of application and the mode of action of duloxetine.
Please also read the information on the drug groups antidepressants, selective serotonin norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (sSNRI), to which the active ingredient duloxetine belongs.

    • anxiety disorders
    • Pain (mild to moderate)
    • Pain (strong to very strong)
    • urinary incontinence

    Mode of action of duloxetine

For the transmission of nerve stimuli messenger substances must be distributed between the individual nerve cells. The faster these messenger substances are absorbed back into the cells, the faster the nerve stimulation disappears. Agents that inhibit this reuptake result in an increase in nerve stimuli and body functions.

Duloxetine is a combined inhibitor for the reuptake of the neurotransmitters serotonin and norepinephrine in the nerve cells. Duloxetine thus increases the concentration of serotonin and norepinephrine in different parts of the brain in a dose-dependent manner. This increased concentration reduces the effect of anxiety, depression, and nerve pain caused by diabetes. On the nerve messengers dopamine, histamine, adrenaline and acetylcholine, however, the drug has little influence.

In animal experiments, an increased concentration of serotonin and norepinephrine in the lower part of the spinal cord leads to activation of the bladder sphincter muscle. In women, a similar mechanism is assumed, which under physical stress leads to a stronger closure of the urinary bladder during the storage phase of the urine. This may explain the effect of duloxetine in the treatment of urinary incontinence-related women.

    Cymbalta for Psychological instability

hello, I took the drug almost 7 years, the first 60 years then the last 3 years 30th I went before I took it, but after 4 weeks of taking it I was a lot better. I also had virtually no side effect, except that I have increased about 15kg in the years, does not know if it comes from the drug. But I had now made the decision, 7 years are enough and have discontinued the drug. I did it that way. 1 capsule then 2 days break and then again one and again 2 days break, I’ve made 2 weeks, then 1 capsule and 3 days break and that over 2 weeks, the same game again 2 weeks with 4 days break and then have I did not take any more and that is now 4 weeks ago and I have had no withdrawal symptoms at all. I helped cymbalta but I hope anyway I never needed more.

By Levopar, with prolonged use, strange perceptions arise. A kind of hallucination. I see objects that are not there. The symptoms of the disease do not really disappear either. Sifrol has been reduced from 0,7 to 0,35 before 3 months set the condition worsens (to sleep) Cymbalta I can not properly classify, apparently improves my general condition.

    Cymbalta for Pain (joint); Depression

I have been in treatment for depression and other disorders since 2000. I got Cytalophram Biomo at that time. After about 2 months but because of absolute feeling alienation (blockades in the experience) even discontinued. Without settling phenomena. Since 2008, I take Cymbalta slowly increased to 120mg, less had no effect. In the beginning my pain and depression disappeared on the whole. Later, however, unfortunately came to sleep, loss of libido and listlessness as side effects. Unfortunately, I have combated my sleep with alcohol. Since I was not satisfied with the result, I dropped off Cymbalta at short notice. Big mistake! Aggression, tachycardia, increased resting heartbeat, suicidal thoughts came already from the second day of depopulation. Without end in sight. So I took Cymbalta again. Mending was immediately there. Only in particularly strong restlessness, I take for a year nor in addition Tavor ne half tablet. This helps very well and I have no side effects. For about 3 weeks I have, after reducing the dose to 60mg Cymbalta completely discontinued. The aggression is not so bad, my libido is slowly coming back. But now come other settling phenomena. Slight to moderate Brainzaps, extreme itching, abnormal sleep rhythm (7-16 clock then sleep until 5-7 o’clock awake), loss of the identity (do not remember what’s real to me and what was only generated by my personality disorder). All in all, I’m really dirty. Now I hope to find another solution (medication) with my doctor. Will you suggest to try Elontril? According to the testimonials here, the side effects do not seem to be that serious. If someone knows an advice, please write.
