About Cymbalta

Duloxetine has four uses:

    • In doses from 20 to a maximum of 40 milligrams, the active substance is used in women for the treatment of moderate to severe urinary incontinence of the stress or stress type. In the case of stress incontinence, the urinary bladder closure is weakened. An increase in pressure, such as occurs when sneezing, coughing, laughing or carrying loads overwhelmed the closure and it comes to involuntary urine output. Stress incontinence, one of the most common types of urinary incontinence, is more common in women than in men. Pregnancy, natural births, connective tissue weakness and aging processes cause the disease.
    • In dosages of 30 to a maximum of 60 milligrams, the drug is used to treat generalized anxiety disorders.

At doses of 60 to a maximum of 120 milligrams, duloxetine is used to treat moderate to severe depression and

  • Nerve pain as part of a diabetes mellitus (diabetic polyneuropathy).

What is the purpose of this ingredient?

    • Increase muscle tension of the bladder sphincter
    • Promote urinary bladder occlusion
    • Increase the resilience of the bladder sphincter
    • release anxiety
    • lighten depressive moods
    • Breastfeeding pain in diabetic neuropathy

This is how Duloxetine works

Below you will learn more about the fields of application and the mode of action of duloxetine.

    • urinary incontinence

    Mode of action of duloxetine

For the transmission of nerve stimuli messenger substances must be distributed between the individual nerve cells. The faster these messenger substances are absorbed back into the cells, the faster the nerve stimulation disappears. Agents that inhibit this reuptake result in an increase in nerve stimuli and body functions.

Duloxetine is a combined inhibitor for the reuptake of the neurotransmitters serotonin and norepinephrine in the nerve cells. Duloxetine thus increases the concentration of serotonin and norepinephrine in different parts of the brain in a dose-dependent manner. This increased concentration reduces the effect of anxiety, depression, and nerve pain caused by diabetes. On the nerve messengers dopamine, histamine, adrenaline and acetylcholine, however, the drug has little influence.

In animal experiments, an increased concentration of serotonin and norepinephrine in the lower part of the spinal cord leads to activation of the bladder sphincter muscle. In women, a similar mechanism is assumed, which under physical stress leads to a stronger closure of the urinary bladder during the storage phase of the urine. This may explain the effect of duloxetine in the treatment of urinary incontinence-related women.

    Cymbalta for Trigeminal neuralgia

Since I have a fulminant trigeminal neuralgia, in which twice the Op after Janetta was necessary, I again had very severe complaints after high doses of gabapentin and amitriptyline, I am on the above medication (gabapentin 4300 mg daily, Cymbalta 120 mg daily). converted with VERY good success! I am currently painless! But still have the second Op late damage in the mouth. Side effects since taking Cymbalta: In the first days nausea, heat waves still persist and almost from the beginning a horrible cough especially when lying down. Can only lie on his back with a slightly raised head and take 75 drops of codeine every day to be able to sleep to some extent! The cough is really almost unbearable!

With the 1st tablet Cymbalta increasing last nausea, the stronger, the longer it is applied. Could only eat tea and biscuits after 5 days. Restlessness and insomnia, severe loss of libido and erectile dysfunction – the side effects have been unacceptably high, practically with the first tablet and then increased.

    Cymbalta for Somatization

Hello, I take the Cymbalta to anyway one is normal. We were now on vacation and my friend called me Dunderklumpen, thickness u.s.w .. Then I tried for 2 days to omit the medication, because I was so angry but since I get withdrawal symptoms because I was dizzy. Then I took her again. Do you take it too? What are you eating or have you changed your eating habits?

    Cymbalta for Somatization

I have been taking Cymbalte for about 4 months, but only 60mg until around 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately, the pain came back and the depression got worse again. Therefore, the dose increase, which I tolerate well again (the first 2 weeks are always strange!) And now they are working better again. I just hope it lasts longer this time. Disadvantage: there is no 90mg, so I have to take 60mg + 30mg and for both packs always make the complete additional payment. This is going to be very expensive in the long run. 🙁 Otherwise, I can only recommend the drug but highly, because you get NO constipation from it and usually does NOT of it! 🙂

Cymbalta for Pain (neuropathic); Pain (back); Pain (chronic); Depression

These are my top drugs without which I could not cope. The side effects are naturally present after a long intake, whereby the dependence is in the foreground. Although the Jurnista (48 mg) somewhat stuns my pain, it also paralyzes everything else from the stomach by taking it orally. Without her but what then? Lyrica frees me from my nervous harassment and that except for the fatigue quite well. Although the tiredness comes from morphine. Rantudil is my long-term preparation. It helps against all inflammatory phenomena in my body. (Rheumatism, gout etc.) Cymbalta is the sunshine for the day. It helps me to keep up when the clouds are low.

    Cymbalta for Psychosis; Depression

Risperdal: I got Risperdal after an 8 week stay in open psychiatry. I delivered myself due to panic attacks and due to a treatment error by an uncompetitive neurologist. He prescribed anti-depressants for me despite a psychosis and panic disorder, dismissed me and sent me home. After about 4-5 days with the treatment of fluoxetine the panic was so strong that I visited open psychiatry. There I got other medications that did not help me. Only after the stay I changed the doctor who prescribed me Risperdal 2mg. My condition improved rapidly but I got through the 2mg dosage the typical neuroleptics side effects: tremor, restlessness, restlessness of the seat, urge to move, inner restlessness. The doctor dosed down to 1mg and gave me an anti-Parkinson agent. It got better, I was able to work and enjoy life again. The anti-Parkinson means I set off. After half a year, the condition worsened and I went to the doctor only after 1 year and told him that I feel depressed but also have high phases but are normal. Overall, Risperdal a very good drug for me against my psychosis which expressed itself with mental disorder and sometimes total listlessness in life. My conclusion for me personally: I like to take it and it helps me! Cymbalta: I got that after telling my therapist that I’m always up and down but not extreme. Sometimes I felt good, went out, made party had fun alive. 2 or 3 days later, sometimes only a week went bad again, I hid myself in bed and did not want to see anyone and do nothing. Then my doctor prescribed me Cymbalta. At first I yawned a lot, was tired, slept a lot but not so extremely depressed. I was already a little bit better after 1 to 2 weeks. The full effect set ca after 3 to 3.5 weeks one of the morning when I woke up and felt so much energy that I was out all day in fine weather and my hobby the photograph went to. Since the onset of action, I had no more depressive phase and even found another job that I start on 2 February. Side effects at the beginning as mentioned above: tiredness, yawning and loss of libido But everything has settled down. Further side effect until today. Decreased need for sleep. My nights are never longer than 6 o’clock even if I can sleep long. Partly I am already awake at 4 o’clock in the morning because I can not sleep anymore but still in a good mood and joy to start the day. So altogether from my doctor a daring but nevertheless for me personally very good combination that brought me back to life!

    Cymbalta for Psychosis; Depression

It was like this: was released from the clinic (had a caring liberty) for a short time. Then I decided for Solian initially 100mg for 1mt. then to 200mg 1x in the morning, until and with today .. total taken over 5months. However, recently I noticed with fright, since I have increased over this actual short time over 9kg. from 80kg to nearly 90kg., although the home psychiatrist had expressly promised that no weight gain would come about. And now, what happened? I’m definitely starting it off today, feeling so uncomfortable in my skin and body. I now take the Cymbalta for depression (2 capsules) in the morning, with Lamictal 1 tabl. Every morning and evening to keep it at bay. It works reasonably well, but if I’m only too worried, because sometimes I drink too much beer at the exit. Then let’s see how it goes on and I hope it works. so good for a long time :-)!

    Cymbalta for Epilepsy; Depression

To Petnidan: With this remedy, I have no difficulties with my epilepsy, which I have had since birth. I suppose to go to bed one capsule all day long. About Rivotril: I started with 1 mg and increased to 1.5 mg. A few months ago, the dose was increased to 2 mg after a year-long 1.5 mg intake. Since then I have problems. Can not fall asleep at night or sleep through and early in the morning I can sleep properly. But have family and have to do my housework, which is very difficult for me. I feel somewhat tired and dizzy all day, have no drive and only in the late evening hours it gets better. Do not make any appointments for the morning, I stand there beside me. My family tolerates it hard. I too feel like a dog. To Cymbalta: I should take this medicine as a pick-me-up in the morning to get back on track. But how is it to succeed if I do not get to lunch until the medium takes some time to work? Short reports: In the morning I should rock myself up, in the evening with the medicaments insulate, so that no seizures break out. With little sleep I suspect seizures.

    Cymbalta for Aggressiveness

I take Cymbalta 30mg for about 4 months. I had mild nausea and no side effects for the first few days. I feel more stable and better since I take it. There was also the idea to increase it to 60mg, because in between I always have depressive break-ins. But I want to continue watching first. The panic, if you google on the Internet for various reports and then read terrifying things, I know … Do not let it affect you too much. I also had read only positive things about a drug and for myself it was anything but good, because I have blown away the side effects and I had to stop it after two days …

    Cymbalta for Aggressiveness; Depression

Hello I got cymbalta prescribed and found that it is not that optimal for me. besides, I also found that I was increasing unchecked. I tried to sell Cymbalta without the help of the doctor just from today to tomorrow – does not do that! It is hell – and not only for you – also for your environment. I was from zero to 100 in 2 seconds – I had a lot of difficulty with controlling as far as possible, that I would not have the next best one clean. I got such an unspeakable hate in myself against myself and against all others, that it nearly broke me inwardly! I take cymbalta again – because I did not stand the described condition – but I want to get away from it!
