Application of the active substance Clomifen

Clomiphene is used in infertility of the woman due to a lack of ovulation. However, this only applies if the lack of ovulation is due to a reduced concentration of sex hormones or hormones of the pituitary gland. In case of premature failure of the ovaries, however, Clomifen must not be used.

The active ingredient is taken as a tablet from the fifth to the ninth day of the cycle, whereby the exact time must be adapted to the cycle of the patient.

Effect of Clomiphene

Clomifene belongs to the group of antiestrogens. It prevents the binding of estrogens to the corresponding binding sites in the pituitary gland (pituitary gland). In this way, the pituitary gland is faked a lack of sex hormones. In response, the pituitary gland releases more follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH). FSH and LH pass through the blood to the ovaries. The ovaries are thereby stimulated, in turn, to produce more estrogens to counteract the feigned deficiency. At the same time, FSH causes increased growth of the ovarian follicles and oocyte maturation, while LH causes ovulation in the presence of a mature oily vein. In this way, treatment with Clomiphene leads to an increased maturation of oocytes and to the promotion of ovulation.

However, a disadvantage is that Clomifen thickened the cervical mucus, so that sperm can penetrate into the uterus worse. In addition, Clomifen inhibits the growth of the lining of the uterus, so that, if it comes to a pregnancy, these are insufficiently built up and the embryo can be worse eingelisten.

Slowed down reaction time, lack of awareness, nausea with vomiting, abdominal pain, Increased irritability, fatigue, dizziness Take Clomi now for 3 days (4 should I!) And must say that I feel shitty in good German spoken! However, I recognize effect is to say so much I feel it based on the ovulation pain. Nevertheless, one should leave home with CAUTION, …. on the 2 day I was on the road … Reaction time resembled an alcoholized and the consciousness was probably high, too, “I went over a RED AMPEL before I noticed it was me in the middle of the street, very dangerous !!! And the last 5 side effects are very familiar to me in a pregnancy, so pretty confusing

    Clomiphene for Fertility disorders

I took the tablets for 5 days, after the 3rd day very strong side effects occurred. Hot flashes, depression, mood swings (partial aggressiveness), flashes of light in connection with panic, headache, circulatory problems and the like. Nausea. If the flashes of light still persist after 6 days of stopping the medication, the duration of the phase has become shorter. Wait a few more days, if no improvement I have (according to the company) to the ophthalmologist (blood clots?). Will never take this medicine again! I hope I succeed with our desire for children!
