Inflammation of the tongue and the entire oral cavity commences after one day of administration and reaches the palate. Extreme burning reaction to all sorts of spices, sweet, sour, salty, carbonated, fruit acid, hot / cold, steadily worsening until on the 3rd day I could only consume lukewarm tap water. Drug discontinued, then steady subsidence of the side effects, after 1 day no more stomatitis. Replacement therapy: Roxithromycin 300 mg once a day (Roxi 300-1A Pharma), very well tolerated

    Clindamycin for Dental inflammation

I had to take Clindamycin 600 mg for 7 days because of a likely tooth root inflammation. After seven weeks I got involved in the antibiotic. Had the first two days when taking the tablets 1-1-1 strong burning in the throat and throat, but went away on the same day. Then everything went well. After the end of the intake I got four days later from now on at once a strong tongue tingling and burning. Then I noticed a horrible coating on the whole tongue, reinforced in the back part. Yellow, green, black …. awful. I could eat anything, with spicy food and alcohol at least the black disappeared for a short time. Today, seven days later, it is probably getting better. I wash with chamomile and sage tea. I hope the tongue is finally back to normal, because you get scared. And on the 5th day after taking the end I still had a horrible diarrhea, but this lasted only half a day, fortunately. Now I’m back to building everything up, at least the toothache is much better. But honestly this antibiotic is really fierce. If there are other options and methods, it is important to avoid clindamycin because of the unpredictable and long-lasting side effects beyond the time of use.

Clindamycin for Dental treatment; Dental inflammation

After 4 hours of the first dose, I noticed a slight burning in the front tongue area. I thought it but nothing and therefore continue to take nice …. After the second dose I had already light no blisters on the edges of the tongue and the tongue was discolored whitish. Evening then after the third intake it started. I have never experienced something like that. Circulatory collapse, 40 fever, continuous vomiting, wheals on the tongue, the entire oral mucosa lifts off. Have since today only raw meat in the mouth and could go up the walls in pain. Then in the emergency room to the hospital. The tipped on ne drug intolerance. Since last night drug no longer taken. Since then no nausea, tongue no longer hurts, but is completely deaf. Hope this will stop soon. Have lost 2kg within 2 days.

    Clindamycin for Dental inflammation

I got Clindamycin, because with me after the teeth pull (1x whiteness tooth and 1x molar tooth) had everything inflamed and formed pus. On the first day of taking, I did not notice anything yet. On the 2nd day a slight burning sensation in the oral cavity and on the tongue. On the third day (today) in the morning, the mouth full of blisters and in the area of the upper lip also bubbles. Slight tingling on the body and constant urination. Was to change the tamponage at the doctor. There you saw the allergic reaction. No reaction! Nothing with: well then we prefer that. nö. I come home from the doctor and of course kindly take the next dose and start a few minutes later, to research this drug on the Internet. Then it was over with the rest. I got panic. My first act: a glass of water. My second: wanted vomiting. I did the whole thing, in exactly this order 3x. I hope I could vomit at least half the dose. Now I will notice if everything gets worse. I hope I can get away with a black eye and I do not get the side effects like all the others whose reports I’ve read. Never again clindamycin.
