Citalopram for Bulimia; Sleep disorders; Depression

I did not start 10μm, but then went to the prescribed dose of 20μm after 2 days. And had strong side effects for almost 1 week. Nausea, tachycardia, sweats and could only lie down and sleep. But then something eased. I can not yet recognize a special effect, except that I am still very tired and especially in the morning even nausea occurs. But I hope that this also sets in.

    Side effects: Sweats; Palpitations; Nausea

Citalopram for Thyroid dysfunction; Pain (back); Borderline; Sleep disorders; Depression

I tolerate Mydocalm relatively well. I do NOT take it regularly, but only in acute cases. In addition, take other medications, but for back pain, generally Mydocalm. Now and then a certain amount of fatigue sets in, which is certainly also dependent on the shape of the day and the other medi’s. I take citalopram for almost 1 year and am very satisfied with it. I have no side effects. I’m still skeptical about zopiclone. Meanwhile, I can not sleep without Zopiclon, I feel the next day usually a little blown.

    Side effects: No side effects

Everything taken with the utmost care, since my vertigo causes me a lot of medication problems (mainly morphine). Of LWS-OP, I take the distance, because I also have anesthetic intolerances!

Citalopram for Pain (back); Nausea; Sleep disorders; Depression

I have been taking Palladon Retard 8mg for 2 years as a permanent medication & amp; Palladium 2,6mg (up to 4 capsules, after consultation with my pain therapist) if needed. Not even in the first few weeks after the start of intake, very serious side effects occurred. The only are digestive problems (constipation) but I have very well with psyllium, whole grains, dried fruits and of course a lot of drink. The only thing that really bothers me is my libido loss. Since I also got a depression a year ago, my doctor gave me, after previous contact of a psychotherapist, the drug Citalopram. She prescribed me 1×1 in the morning and then I should dose myself higher if I realized that this dosage would not be enough for me. In the first weeks I was totally knocked out and tired and I had to force myself to get out of bed, but when this was over I started to feel really good. Today I take 2 Citalopram for several months in the morning and I can cope with it without any side effects. I have been very bad at Ein & amp; By sleeping. Wake up several times a night and can not fall asleep again was part of my everyday life. Accordingly, then was my mood, mood as well as my desire for my husband. A friend I complained of had the same problem and she took Doxipin 50mg. She gave me three tablets so I could try them over the WE. Then I took half a tablet on Friday evenings and I was able to fall asleep pretty well and (which joy) also sleep through. Saturday and Sunday the same. On Mondays I am then to my doctor and have told her about this weekend and she has then also written me a pack of 100 Doxipin 25mg. The 25mg lost their effect after over a year, so I took two and got to sleep again. At the next prescription my doctor told me about it and she also approved it. I also tolerate the doxipin without side effects. Because of my crooked spine, I have a lot of heavy and painful muscle tension, so I’ve been taking Tetrazepam (Musaril) every now and then for more than 30 years and I still have the best experience with it. Of course, on days when I take the tetrazepam I leave the doxipin off. Even with this drug, I have no side effects. Since I often had a headache as a child, wrote me my former HA Novalgin (Novaminsulvon) against it. To date, and now over 40 years old, I still manage very well and have not had any side effect in the years. MCP drops & amp; I always have MCP suppositories in the house. Should I feel sick, because I accidentally overdosed myself (and only then I feel sick or I have to spit) then at least I have help for an emergency. Personally, I am very good with all medicines and I am grateful that they are there for me. Without these meds my life would not be so worth living. I can only recommend it to anyone. Now I want to say something to my family doctor and to my pain therapist: They trust me and they know that I would never operate with the drug abuse. Dewegen also often leave the decision to me to dose higher. Both say again and again that I know my body the best and could assess and dewegen leave me a lot of free hand. I am very grateful to them. Thank you for reading this long and I hope I could help you a bit. Biggi

    Citalopram for Unrest; Sleep disorders

Mirtazapine left me immediately after evening intake after 2 hours fall into a deep sleep, but I am very bothered by the strong daytime daze, from 15 to 30 mg was high doses. 2 kilo increased but I’m doing well. I barely But sleeping disorder was corrected. I have now got 10 mg of citalopram in the morning to lift the drowsiness of mirtazapine, which worked very well the last few days, again wacher.die fear was mirtazapine has become less so, as soon as a panicatake has approached it has not come to an outbreak. Only a little heartbeat was over soon. By the beginning of citalopram until now as side effect, slight restlessness, again somewhat anxious, however the doctor meant that would be the initial side effects .. I am strong and consider it .. unpleasant for anxious patients because the fear rises again something. well wait .. is hip .. have more drive again, and partly good mood, I feel better .. hold out just takes his time until the body has got used to it …

I take citalopram for about 1.5 years, first 40 mg, then 30, now only 20 mg. I have become very quiet inside, am balanced and sometimes terribly lame.Mich can bring nothing to rest. Also sexually, to the management of my partner calm and restrained.haarausfall I had after a short time, now since the reduction I lose even though hair but not so many. Did not get any more crying fits, sleep like a stone, but I am sometimes quite impotent. Somehow the tablets change the essence.

Citalopram for Diabetes mellitus type ii; Stomach protection; Thyroid function under; Adh syndrome; Mood swings; High blood pressure; Sleep disorders

On the whole, I tolerated the medis very well. except when my sugar is high, then it is already before me dizzy is very much. But I generally find that the drugs today are better tolerated than before. Also in things insulin has done a lot. Since I have since 1985 diabetes type mody 3 and insulin resistant it is not always easy to adjust myself with insulin is just an eternal process. since 1987 I have colitis ulcerosa and since 2002 I am completely stopped by the colitis. I am very happy about that.

Citalopram for Stress; Mood swings; Post-traumatic stress disorder; Borderline; Sleep disorders; Depression

For about 2 years I get (with a short break) promethazine (currently 50mg). The dose may be too low, because until I get tired, it takes hours, fears hardly go away and the restlessness is not gone quickly. But when I get calmer and calm down, sleep is usually reasonably good, sometimes very good. Citalopram I get for about 1 year, currently 15mg (were times 10mg, sometimes 20mg). Compatibility is actually quite good, but I do not really know if it really is due to the drug, that sometimes I feel a little better, or if it is simply because psychotherapy is making progress. Sometimes I still have my break-ins, as well as the mood swings. Tavor I get only as an emergency drug, then in 1-2mg. It usually brings an improvement and the side effects are not more important than the effect, but it is not really recommended because it has addictive potential. If only in emergency situations and not permanently! For people with addictive problems sometimes less suitable, where I also have a phlebotomy addictive, but which does not necessarily refer to addiction-promoting remedies. Remestan sometimes works after hours, sometimes not at all – depending on the tension and restlessness, I still do not sleep or not sleep much. For some people, it may be useful to know that it has somehow sensory side effects (weird mouthfeel, other sensations are somehow different), but this is not important to me as long as it works and the side effects are not threatening, no permanent damage leave behind or even deadly.

Citalopram for A headache; Drive disorders; Sleep disorders; Depression

Due to a very late recognized sinus vein thrombosis (head), I suffer for 11 years of chronic brain pain, which have a strong impact on my entire life. Unfortunately, normal analgesics do not help at this point. Tramal drops were prescribed for me, they help because they look central. But have huge side effects. Due to the chronic intake creates a dependency, Without it can not go, with going for other things like sexuality, lust for life, Apetit, and lost hope for a normal life. A severe depression developed, but I did not realize it until I was ready to wake up in the morning. Feelings for my little son or husband were blown away. The worse you were, the more you distanced yourself. I have worked so hard in my work that I have developed a so-called stress epilepsy due to the existing brain cortex due to my acute brain thrombosis. If there was too much stress then I got numbness in my fingers or in my shoulder. The closer it came to the seizure, the more it tingled in my head, in addition, there was a very enormous pressure on my head .– then came directly the cerebral seizure ……. After that, nothing went, I suffered Amnesia, did not know names or the reason why I was suddenly surrounded by doctors and hung up on an infusion. Only after hours did the memories come back. Many drugs have been tried, many with unbearable side effects. Unfortunately I am still not perfect today.

    Citalopram for Sleep disorders; Depression

I was diagnosed with depression with emotional instability and impulsivity at the beginning of the year. The diagnosis of depression was not new, including ih already suffered in 2010/2011; the rest is / was new. In addition to depression, I suffer from sleep disorders and examination phobia. Since then, I take 15 mg of citalopram every morning and have no side effects from this medication. It helps me with the depression as well as my phobia. I’m not sure about the phobia yet, because I have no exam situations at the moment. Things look different with the medications that help me with insomnia. First I got Seroquel 75 mg, at night. Here I had only side effects … Dizziness (especially in the morning), headaches, exciting breasts, weight gain, I have not come out of bed and was tired all day. Then I tried 50 mg Seroquel Retard with the hope it will get better. No, the side effects remained. Now I have mirtazapine for some days, first 7.5 mg. Mirtazapine is intended to support citalopram, as well as help with sleep disorders and examination phobia. Unfortunately, my weight continues to rise. I hope my weight levels up again, because so slowly the weight gain is the most depressing! If nothing changes until the next visit to the doctor, I have to talk to my psychiatrist again urgently. I would just like to take the citalopram and if need be raise it.

    Citalopram for Sleep disorders; Depression

Perazin and Dominal cause for some months an unpleasant tingling and cramping in the arms and legs. Otherwise, however, good, less hallucinations and panic, usually calms down after just one hour. Sleep is not sufficient. Citalopram makes me nervous, I felt like I was on speed, was unbearable after a short while, depression got worse. Zopiclone good in the beginning, ineffective after 2 weeks. The discontinuation of Perazin and Dominal triggered a brief psychotic phase (when I took the perazine back I was fine). Combination of perazine and zopiclone so far almost ineffective, but tolerable
