Citalopram for Bulimia; Sleep disorders; Depression

I did not start 10μm, but then went to the prescribed dose of 20μm after 2 days. And had strong side effects for almost 1 week. Nausea, tachycardia, sweats and could only lie down and sleep. But then something eased. I can not yet recognize a special effect, except that I am still very tired and especially in the morning even nausea occurs. But I hope that this also sets in.

    Side effects: Sweats; Palpitations; Nausea

Citalopram for Thyroid dysfunction; Pain (back); Borderline; Sleep disorders; Depression

I tolerate Mydocalm relatively well. I do NOT take it regularly, but only in acute cases. In addition, take other medications, but for back pain, generally Mydocalm. Now and then a certain amount of fatigue sets in, which is certainly also dependent on the shape of the day and the other medi’s. I take citalopram for almost 1 year and am very satisfied with it. I have no side effects. I’m still skeptical about zopiclone. Meanwhile, I can not sleep without Zopiclon, I feel the next day usually a little blown.

    Side effects: No side effects

Since I take iodine thyrox and citalopram, I am also often tired during the day, especially when driving a car with tiredness can not keep my eyes open. Then I have to stop and sleep a few minutes to do the rest of the way. It is a distance of about 80km, which I drive every now and then in the morning or in the evening.

    Citalopram for Fibromyalgia; Depression

I first got Citalopram for my depression about 18 months ago, at that time I did not know that I had fibromyalgia. After my diagnosis was confirmed my doctors told me that citalopram has a positive effect on fibromyalgia. Citalopram increases the serotonin levels in the body, which is in fibro. Patients very low. Now take Amineurin in the evening, so I had some difficulties at the beginning, now it works. I also take acemetacin, also for the fibro. I have been on inpatient treatment at the rheumatism center Herne for 14 days on all medication. Since then, the pain is a bit more bearable! I am happy to answer questions about the treatment in the rheumatism clinic

Side effects: Increase in weight; Fatigue

    Citalopram for Migraine; Depression

First use: 20mg daily for 4 weeks in the morning. Significant decrease in migraine, few side effects but no significant decrease in depression. Only noticeable side effect: loss of libido and ejaculation disorders. Then increase the dose to 40mg. Thereafter, migraine attacks remained almost completely absent, with a loss of libido and ejaculation disorders, as well as fatigue and still sleeping problems. These were expressed by the fact that I woke up almost every hour from 02:00 o’clock in the morning and partly fell asleep again.
