In case of hypersensitivity or liver function impairment, the active substance must not be used.
Only after careful consideration by the physician and under his control should bicalutamide be used in patients with cardiac arrhythmias (QT interval prolongation, torsades de pointes, or risk factors for it) because testosterone withdrawal may exacerbate them.

The active ingredient must not be taken by women in principle.

The active substance must not be taken by children.
- In severe hepatic impairment, treatment with the drug must be stopped immediately.
- During treatment, regular liver function tests (bilirubin, transaminase, alkaline phosphatase) must be performed by the physician.
- The drug contains lactose (lactose), which is poorly tolerated by some patients.
Medicines can cause allergic reactions. Signs can be:
Redness of the skin, runny nose, itching, mucosal swelling, itching and redness of the eyes,
Narrowing of the respiratory tract (asthma). In rare cases it can cause allergic shock with unconsciousness
