    Arimidex for Osteoporosis; Breast cancer

I wanted to stop Bonviva’s monthly intake (film-coated tablet) after almost a year. The muscle pain and stomach discomfort as a side effect have aroused great doubt in me on the drug. My doctor suggested I switch to the syringe to protect my stomach. He said the side effects would stop over time and as long as I take Arimidex I should continue with Bonviva. Muscle and limb pain especially in the night, my toes and finger tips as well as the right hand and the chest operated on 10 years ago hurt me. I find no right place to sleep, and often wake up at night. During the day I feel more legs rising at stairs. In a week I get the 3rd syringe and I wonder if I should stop the drug. The drug Arimidex was discontinued after 8 years a month ago, which has led to no improvement, rather the opposite. I rarely take painkillers, with magnesium tablets I find a slight pain relief.

    Arimidex for Osteoporosis; Breast cancer

Take Arimidex for exactly 2 years. After the initial common complaints such as muscle weakness and joint pain, which have clearly improved over time, I’m currently in good shape, almost 20 km cycling every day. To my great astonishment, a few days ago, strong muscle pains at the front of my thighs were used as soon as I walked quickly, climbing stairs or driving a car (and pressing the pedals). The pain is not symmetrical, begins in one leg, becomes almost unbearable, then gradually diminishes and begins in the other. I can not explain this fact and now I’m afraid for the upcoming ski season …
