Mode of action of etoricoxib

Etoricoxib belongs to the drug group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, so the cortisone-free rheumatism. The active substance belongs to the subgroup of selective COX-2 inhibitors. It inhibits specifically the enzyme cyclooxigenase-2, which plays an important role especially in inflammatory processes. On the other hand, etoricoxib does not inhibit the sister enzyme cyclooxigenase-1 (COX-1), which is involved in the production of mucosal protective prostaglandins in the stomach.

The Coxiben in general, including Etoricoxib, is said to be a particularly good tolerability for the stomach and intestine among non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

I have been prescribed Arcoxia 90 for Achilles tendonitis on both feet. It had no decongestant and analgesic effect. But I got difficulty breathing, was short of breath and had water deposits in the hocks. After a week, I dropped it off.

Arcoxia for Arthroscopy; Pain (acute); Arthrosis

Initialization of my entry on 21.03. Now I had to sell the tablets. Severe insomnia, weight gain, fluid retention, inflammation of the upper respiratory tract …. …. very strong cough, which has brought me to sleep over many days. Even the treatment with the ENT was without success. No wonder. Pills dropped off and it’s all good.

Arcoxia for Arthroscopy; Pain (acute); Arthrosis

Since I, tolerated by stomach problems and hypersensitivity, barely tolerated medication, I’m glad that there is this drug. I take it, even quite high doses, because of severe pain after surgery. It does not hit the stomach. Good compatibility. How long I have to take it I do not know yet.

Arcoxia for Sleep disorders; High blood pressure; Depression; Pain (back); Pain (joint)

Valdoxan 25mg: I get Valdoxan 25mg for insomnia and depression. Sleeping 1-1 / 2 hours early in the morning. During the day I lie on the sofa and watch television and occasionally wonder what pills help me ……. Durogesic: when changing (every day) after 90 minutes first withdrawal symptoms Arcoxia 60mg: If I do not take it daily I can not move in the back pain Provas 320mg: I have to take the tablets because a doctor in a rehab in long-term blood pressure measurement has noted my blood pressure was 118 to 85 once in the night. I assume that the high blood pressure can be turned on at night. With a cross section, I have to apply more force to turn than a normal person. I have to divide the tablets so that I take 169 mg in the morning. After taking my blood pressure is 97 to 56, no longer come over the 110 mark. That’s how it amounts to me as I take PROVAS.

Arcoxia for Joint and muscle pain

I, female, 53 years, take Arcoxia 60 mg for a week due to severe joint and muscle pain. After the first intake, a strong daze started, driving a car, etc. would not have been possible anymore. Also, I noticed an extreme tiredness. After a few hours, a slight stomach ache started. The pain became tolerable or disappeared for the most part. The longer I take the medicine, the fewer side effects I notice. The dizziness is very low, no longer leads to concentration problems, stomach aches are no longer available. Only a stronger sweating is present. A positive side effect is that the feeling of hunger has greatly diminished, there are no Heizhungerattakte. The jokes are still there but not so that they limit the daily life.

    Arcoxia for Tendinitis

I have been prescribed Arcoxia 60mg because of an already chronic tendinitis in the left foot. Should these tablets but only once a day and only if there is no other way to take. I then took the tablets for 2 consecutive days. However, only these 2 times. On the 2nd day after the last dose I weighed almost 4 kg more! and had water retention in both ankles. Also, I felt bloated somehow. I naturally wondered where this sudden weight gain came from. Until I suddenly remembered to read the side effects of the tablets in more detail! and lo and behold, often water retention! The tablets immediately went to the trash … I can not recommend at all! Also not suitable for people with lipid metabolism disorders. (Have a lipoedema).

    Arcoxia for Tendinitis

I started using Arcoxia 90mg 7 days ago, the first two were in the evening and without any major discomfort, but without any real pain relief. My doctor makes me take the tablets in the evening before going to sleep, because the pain through the relaxation at night would probably be worse than during the day. With each day I took the pills, the pain was less breastfed and the side effects bigger, now for three days have an absolute loss of appetite, sleep disorders and headaches, to the normal (very strong) pain of tendinosis. Have the drug discontinued and use prescribed by my doctor Ibu600 3x daily. Short to my person, 20 years young, female, 160cm tall and 55 kg heavy – according to my doctor, the tablets should have been effective, since I was half a person.

    Side effects: Anorexia; Insomnia

Arcoxia for Dizziness; Nausea; A headache

I can not recommend Lyrica. It was prescribed to me because of my degenerative spinal pain, lumbar spine, ISG and celiac joint arthrosis. 75-0-75-0 It should be increased to 150-0150-0. I felt a leaden tiredness about 20 minutes after taking it, arms, hands and legs were paralyzed. The head felt like someone had spanned it with an iron ring that was getting tighter and tighter. I could not see clearly anymore. Everything was blurry. I got an unbearable printhead pain. I could not walk anymore because of the dizziness. I felt I had a blanket in my mouth, it was so dry. I stopped the medication. I can not recommend this medicine

    Arcoxia for Intervertebral discs-op

Had no significant side effects, except fatigue (but can also come from Valeron, which I took at the same time). Was about 40 weeks almost painless. Then the pain got worse again. The doctors have now prescribed me Lyrica, which helps me but nothing. Since I discontinued Arcoxia, the pain has intensified massively. My family doctor advised me again to take Arcoxia 90 mg. Should be operated again at the latest in February (full denture). Let’s see pointed goes on.

    Arcoxia for Fibromyalgia; Rheumatism

Because of the RA I had to take arcoxia 60mg, put all hope in it, but the side effects have won. I was always tired and weak that despite the tiredness I could not sleep properly. Driveless throughout the day. Actually, they worked quite well, but it was not life anymore. After settling it was time again and it was better again

Arcoxia for Fibromyalgia; Disc prolapse; Arthrosis

I’ve had a chronic pain condition for 5 years, which only improved to a limited extent. By taking Palexia, the condition has already improved considerably. I am now trying to eliminate Arcoxia in the long term and reduce Lyrica. The chemical formula of Palexia convinced me, If I take a long-term painkillers, I have to think economically – the side effects must not be worse than the effect. The only side effect I have experienced in Palexia is the constipation. However, I have been taking Movicol for some time now. If it stays that way, I’m satisfied. I have a very good pain therapist. Arcoxia for Fibromyalgia; Pain (acute)

I take Arcoxia 60 mg / day for 2 months now. For the first 10 days I had mild dizziness and abdominal pain. However, these side effects stopped after about 10 days and since then I have no side effects. Since I have immense stomach problems due to taking painkillers for many years, Arcoxia is a great solution for me. The pain was significantly reduced. For 2 days now I take 90 mg / day and hope that this will be the final dose.

    Arcoxia for Shoulder-hand syndrome

I have regular inflammation in the right shoulder but also problems caused by disc herniation in the lumbar and cervical spine. My orthopedist therefore recommended and prescribed Arcoxia 90 mg. Lt. Leaflets are the right hammers / side effects. If the pain increases, I take 1 tablet for 4-6 consecutive days. The effects are very positive, inflammation goes back for at least 2 to 3 weeks, so that I am almost painless. Despite the descriptions in the leaflet, I have so far found no significant side effects. My previous medication (also very effective) hit my stomach.

Arcoxia for Cervical thoracic lumbar spine syndrome

Take Arcoxia 90 mg for 8 days. I have discomfort with the cervical spine. In addition, I have rheumatism, but I got a good grip on drugs. For some weeks I have severe pain in the chest and in the lower jaw at night, also in the arms. That’s why I got prescribed Arcoxia. The pain did not improve. I am afraid that I will get a heart attack. My doctor is on vacation and I do not know what to do. I’m afraid to go to bed in the evening. The pain is almost unbearable. That’s why I can never sleep properly. That goes to the substance.

I take 90mg Arcroxia once a day for 3 weeks. Ingested oxycodone! The morning stiffness has decreased by 7o% and the pain has dropped to a bearable level! Other side effects did not occur with me.
