Effect of Alprazolam

Alprazolam is one of the medium-acting benzodiazepines. It binds in the brain to the specific receptors for this group of substances. Alprazolam thus enhances the inhibitory effect of the messenger substance GABA on different associations of nerve nodes. In this way, alprazolam has a taut, anti-anxiety and anti-anxiety effect, as well as soothing and invigorating sleep. At higher doses, it can reduce muscle tension and reduce the tendency for epileptic seizures.

Alprazolam (Tafil) is an excellent drug for the treatment of anxiety and panic disorders. Like all benzodiazepines it causes a physical dependence, which makes it necessary to slowly reduce the drug. If you have a panic disorder, it is quite justified and justifiable if the specialist in charge alprazolam is also prescribed over a very long period of time. In the case of alprazolam, there is no habituation with regard to efficacy against panic attacks and seizures of anxiety, so that it is nevertheless possible to profit from the resulting low-dose dependency as a patient. A side effect, which strikes me however even and according to my research all benzodiazepines covers, which are used in the long run, that the memory ability suksesslich worsens. Long-term memory is unaffected. In addition, an emotional indifference to external influences arises over the years. The described subtle side effects are reversible and, in relation to the benefit of the drug, at my own discretion.

    Alprazolam for Depression

11 years ago, I was in alcohol weaning for 7 weeks, and got alprazolam as a replacement. This drug was immediately essential to me, I felt best when I drank alcohol anyway. Then the other people did not scare me anymore, also not driving (sic!) I dared to tell people everything, was not afraid in the workplace. But I became quite soft and lazy, too tired for everything, more and more I did not care, very messy, I lost my papers and opened my bills and could not remember anything, and I let myself go outside because I was not sexual more interested (frigid) and was usually too lazy to wash my hair. For many years I stayed on two 0.50 mg tablets (the pink ones). The year 2008, however, did contain some particularly stressful experiences for me, and in order to cope with these, I increased the dose by three times. Now I have become even more forgetful. I can stand no noise and no crowds only if I have taken enough pills. Every noise immediately gets on my nerves. I’ve often tried to take fewer pills, but then I drank more alcohol because I was so nervous and irritable, shaking and having a headache. Now, after 11 years, I’ve given up trying to deal with the problem myself. At the beginning of May, I am doing alprazolam withdrawal in a psychiatric clinic. I live in a country where this medicine is very easily prescribed, not in Germany.

    Alprazolam for Social phobia

In the beginning, the fear was blown away, was extremely talkative, impulsive, very concentrated, had no inhibitions, was almost cheeky, arrogant, especially in combination with alcohol. However, extremely rapid tolerance development and ultimately reversal of effects, anxiety and phobia slowly resurfaced. In case of dose reduction / withdrawal extreme withdrawal symptoms, mainly nervousness, cramps in the calves, disturbance of the senses, difficulty concentrating, severe sleep disorders. Currently outpatient withdrawal.

    Alprazolam for Depression

Last I took Trevilor in a dose of once 75mg and once in the evening 37.5mg. Both as prolonged-release capsules. At first I was very restless, nervous, could not fall asleep, had to do with fears, have increased and I was bad. But that disappeared very quickly (about 4 weeks) Unfortunately, they did not strike well after three years and they beat me as well very much on the stomach. So I changed my psychiatrist to Edronax. I take that for two weeks. Therefore, I can say less to the effectiveness than to the side effects. These are for me ua nausea, loss of appetite, dizziness, nervousness, falling asleep, intangible fears. Against the fears I’ll take Alprazolam on demand. I’ll wait another two or three weeks and if it does not get any better, I’ll ask my doc if we can raise or change.

    Alprazolam for Depression

Hello! After years of experimenting with various antidepressants (about 12 preparations) that brought nothing but unwanted side effects, I was prescribed a Benzodiazephin nameb ALPRAZOLAM (test). It was the first and only drug that significantly alleviated my anxiety (and also the fear of anxiety, as well as sleep disturbances, inner restlessness etc.). Unfortunately, ALPRAZOLAM makes you dependent for a longer period of time, which is why it is limited and prescribed in short doses (short-term). Actually a pity, because it VERY helps people with various fears and phobias and their life much easier! > Question: Suicide, or rather a Benzo ???? ALPRAZOLAM S E H R helps me well, taking only occasionally 0.5mg. No unwanted side effects. I would be very happy about reviews. Greeting, Shydeepwater.

Although good in the long term but when weaning strong side effects. Circulatory system, nausea, muscle spasms, etc. You become dependent on fast. If necessary, it is also very good and you should really take care that you only take it in case of an emergency because of the Nebenwikungen when settling.

Alprazolam for anxiety and panic attacks. Antidepressants were useless or had side effects (weight gain, headache, dizziness). The neurologist prescribed alprazolam first for the case of need, then as a provisional long-term medication. The best decision we could make! Immediate effect (within ten, fifteen minutes) on panic attacks, no side effects. I then took 0.5 mg daily for months (according to the doctor, I could have increased to 4 mg). Finally I was able to experience everyday life again without fears and panic. Contrary to all the doctrines I did not have to increase the dose over the months. After I was psychologically stable again and had completed an effective behavioral therapy, alprazolam was slowly slipped over 3 weeks (withdrawal symptoms: three nights sleep disturbances, two cases of fears). Now I take the drug in the dosage of 0.5 mg only every few months if necessary. I would always make the decision in favor of Alprazolam!

Best anxiety relief here that I could ever achieve with medication. For massive fears my means of choice. No (hardly) comparable fatigue as with other Benzos.
