    Lorazepam for Migraine

Hello, have received from the family doctor because of severe headaches and migraine Lorazepam 2.5 mg. At first I should only take one tablet before going to bed; At the end (after 5 years), I took 12.5 mg a day to somehow funkrionieren. Additionally also Imigran, Ibuflam 800 mg and much more. No more control. Lorazepam made me feel worse and worse. The migraine attacks increased (every other day) and otherwise I felt damn …. I then visited a pain clinic from me and I drove immediately from 100 to 0. It was hell !!! But I wanted to get away from all the pill stuff. The withdrawal symptoms were shortness of breath, palpitations, nausea / vomiting, anxiety. Never again such an experienceIf you suddenly can not breathe on your own thanks to these pills, a sister has to wash and put on your clothes … nobody really wants to experience something like that. Have it through my doctor and a very good therapist then in 17 days, Had not believed before; but I just did not want to take it anymore. Conclusion: Keep your hands off this devil stuff. It only causes additional problems and at the end is the withdrawal. It is now 2 years ago and I have not touched any more pills. My migraine is gone and I’m fine. Only and alone falling asleep took almost a year until it was again o. K. But without medication. But then you can read a nice book or do creative things. Try to do without this stuff. It’s definitely worth it. Can you give me a good tip regarding withdrawal: Sign up in the Rommel Clinic in Bad Wildbad. There are very good doctors and therapists and you are looked after all around. Keep your fingers crossed for everyone who wants to do the same. Good luck and a nice life without pills wishes Steffi

    Lorazepam for Sleep disorders

Settling, settling down: falling asleep problems. Take it also wg sleep problems. Otherwise nothing so far, have now reduced 3 days dose, from 1.25 mg per day (half tablet of 2.5) on a fifth tablet, that would be 0.5mg. Plus 1/2 liter of wine, I always take to fall asleep. Now that I have reduced, I am not so lazy a day. Very pleasant. I had breathing problems, shortness of breath, coughing, so I want to stop now. Whether the cough has something to do with Lorazepam, rather not, but you become so lax with Lorazepam. Just lastededed. Because the half-life is so long that it works the next day. Vesuche to stop it altogether or first down further down. With alcohol is not recommended, but I’ve gotten used to it over the years, then the body does not react too extreme somehow. Otherwise, I hardly drink alcohol, only to fall asleep.

Very effective, very effective in acute panic situations. Unfortunately very fast habituation with dependency, therefore only use as rescue medication. Already after a short treatment period (only 2 weeks at low dosage) there were unpleasant withdrawal symptoms, such as dizziness, pronounced weakness, increased anxiety, agitation, motoric uncertainties. There may also be memory gaps during the treatment.

    Lorazepam for Borderline

I took Lorazepam only for a very short time (12 days, initially 2mg daily, then 1mg each) and kept to the exact specifications of my psychiatrist. During the intake, I had little side effects, except for a slightly dizzy feeling. It worked quickly and well, I became calmer, did not have to cry all the time, could concentrate and sleep again. But when I discontinued the medication (in consultation with my psychiatrist in very small steps) I had massive problems: I did not sleep several nights in a row, I was sick, I had all over my body sensations (tingling, ants) and also mentally I was even worse, than before the beginning of the intake: fears, Howling cramps, thoughts of suicide … After a few days, these depreciation phenomena then, thank God. Conclusion: A very fast and effective drug, but if it does not have to be, I would not recommend it. Personally, I would only persuade myself to do so in the worst case scenario.

helps very well and quite a long time, the problem with the benzo is that you really should not take it like 2-3 days, since it can already lead to dependency. the weaning after only 3 days are very uncomfortable on lorazepamI did it for 2 to 4 weeks a day on 2mg. after a month ca I had very big problems with it. An initial physical dependence was already felt.
