    Tamoxifen for Overweight

After my breast cancer in 2007, I received radiation and took tamoxifen, did not need chemo, but either zoladex or ovarian removal, opted for ovarian removal. Tamoxifen was well received at the time, and for the first two years, the tamoxifen had to go to sleep in the evening, because the side effects were extreme, night sweats, rashes, palpitations, extreme nausea, water retention, and an enormous weight gain. Now after three years I had to sell the tamoxifen, I’m sitting so full of water that I can not get rid of it. Was today at the gynecologist, because the water presses on my joints and it hurts, have reported that the oncologist advised me against the adoption of tamoxifen. Yes, now I have to take blood and searching begins. Weight gain about 30 kg

After taking Tamoxifen for 15 months, I am currently ready to discontinue this drug on the spot. The hot flashes are limited, worse is the total exhaustion and fatigue. Can not go 50 steps without being completely out of breath, climbing stairs is an abomination !!! Because of diabetes melitus 2, I have been trying for some time to lose weight. Unfortunately this does not succeed. In addition, there is a buildup of water in the right ankle, occasionally bone and joint pain, which I get control of with Voltaren tablets. Since the second month of use, increased vaginal discharge has occurred. Since I have a lot to do in my job and my quality of life is also very important to me, I will try to have other tablets like Fareston or Evista prescribed.

    Tamoxifen for Breast cancer

I think I have everything there is to side effects. Hizblasungen but the finest. I have gained about 25 kg, water accumulation spread over the whole body, extreme in the hands and legs. Shortness of breath is also nothing extraordinary not only under stress. Some of my joints hurt all day. At 49, I feel like an old woman. Even my eyes have changed / worsened and burn constantly. Sleep in one piece, again a whole night, would be great, but not more. Add to that fatigue and fatigue. The meantime extreme hair loss has improved a bit, but the hair is brittle and dull. Fragile are my fingernails. So I think I could go on. If I was not that stubborn, I’d have dropped that stuff long ago.

    Tamoxifen for Breast cancer

Hot flashes with subsequent cold sensation (very common), weight gain, water retention, concentration and memory disorders, vaginal dryness, vaginal discharge, vaginal fungus, itching in the genital area, brittle fingernails, hair loss, cramps in the feet, carpal tunnel syndrome, nocturnal urination, mild sleep disorders … Me take tamoxifen after a breast surgery (breast cancer) for 4 years and 4 months. The first 3 years additionally Trenantone. I had 36 shots, no chemo. I can live with the side effects pretty well, but I feel like I’m more susceptible to illnesses, I’m always plagued by some nonsense. Since I was almost never ill before my breast cancer diagnosis at the age of 42 and never before in the hospital, so I have my problems with it. My visual impairment has also increased, but since I was already very short-sighted (above -10 dioptres) and my eyes have always worsened steadily, I can not judge whether the now progressive visual impairment is accelerated by the use of tamoxifen. I also have the impression that I have less hair, but since I’m blessed with extremely big and thick hair, I think that’s not so bad ;-). I also occasionally have to deal with mood swings, which at least my friend claims ;-). All in all, I’m fine, I’m continuing my (stressful) job and if tamoxifen helped to extend my life, then it was worth the side effects.

    Tamoxifen for Breast cancer

Hello, I took Tamoxifen 1 year and 2 months and it was a terrible time for me. I could not sleep one more night. Cramps in the legs, fluid retention in the body, 16 kilos of weight gain, hot flashes, rash all over my body, I was exhausted (could not lunch at work, my head still raise before tiredness and weakness) Could no longer climb stairs (had me at the railing pull up) When I’m gone 100 meters, I was tired and had nearly collapsed and good CONCLUSION IS mE AFTER THIS YEAR NOW MY GEBÄHRMUTTER MY EGGS STICKS aND MY tubal REMOVED AS THIS MEDIKAMT MY ABDOMINAL DESTROYED HAT. I was exhausted. By contrast, the six chemos were half as bad. I ran from one doctor to another this year NO PHYSICIAN COULD HELP ME. I always got the answer DA YOU BY YOU NEED THESE TABLETS 5 YEARS BUSINESS. There are other medicines that are even more harmful. NOW, I had a total operation and GOTTSEIDANK must take no more medicine. Besides the allergic reactions continue to exist. I take an allergy tablet every day now. Without these tablets, it is probably not even more. I’m mad at you. Tamoxifen is supposed to help against breast cancer, but the side effects were unbearable for me. They’ve broken more with me than they helped.

    Tamoxifen for Breast cancer

I have been taking tamoxifen since October 2007. At the beginning of the treatment I had severe nausea and pain in the diseased chest. In December 2007, bones and joint pain were added. I have no hot flushes but water retention in my feet. I feel often totally drained and overwhelmed.Seit two weeks I take again 3 times daily 50 mg diclofenac sodium to come to a degree over the day.No one has prepared me what effects Tamoxifen has.My gynecologist has never heard of bone pain. The chief physician The Senologie has told me that I should make the pain to my friend. It would be a sign that the drugs work and that it will eventually stop …
