Mirena for Pain (joint); A headache

I’m sooo mad !! This beforehand … Have for 7 months, the Mirena spiral (due to heavy bleeding, iron deficiency). Have hardly any bleeding – but that is the only thing that works. Otherwise I have the following symptoms for three months: – from one day to the other daily joint pain in the fingers – again headaches – strong susceptibility to tension (especially neck area) – permanently cold hands – tiredness – sensitive breasts – 6 kg increased in 6 months ( despite exercise and normal food). Certainly a lot of – water retention in the legs and associated with something – stronger varicose veins I was in the last three months: – once with the gynecologist (The spiral is actually very well tolerated, you are probably exhausted., Working too much, right?) – twice with different family doctors with twice blood findings at intervals of one month: no gout, no rheumatism. Probably finger arthritis, because you can unfortunately do nothing, except ointment lubricate (I was horrified !!! And I was afraid, how to continue!) – 8 times with the massage á 70 euros for the persistent neck pain – and have hours of my life for the independent search on the various complaints spentbecause apparently no doctor can think combined !! That’s just crazy! Since a few days, I suspect and at least since reading the other stories of suffering, I’m sure (ALL, completely SAFE) where all this comes from this Mirena spiral! And I wonder too: how can such a thing be allowed !! Have the gynecologist already spoken to tape, that I want to have an appointment immediately. Am SOOOO SAUER on this WOMAN !!! (Incidentally, I paid 500 euros for the insert Please pay cash and without invoice!). – I will print the testimonials and give them to the FAREWELL. I’m glad if the thing is out and with the heavy bleeding I’m getting better after this horrible experience also better.

Mirena for Endometriosis; Hypermenorrhoea; Pain (menstruation)

insidious side effects. Over time, complaints arose that I did not initially associate with the Mirena; Joint pain numb feeling and tingling in the hands stuffy nose mood swings heavy sweating chest pressure stomach problems nausea water retention weight increase dry skin and hair increased hair growth on the face cysts on the ovaries temporarily severe abdominal pain without clinical findings Since 4 weeks Mirena is out and I feel completely better. All complaints are not gone, but no more water retention, no stuffy nose and no pressure on the chest.

I am stunned by what I read here and in other forums and groups. 4 years ago, I had the MIRENA placed after swallowing the pill daily for years. I am 41 years old and my gynecologist recommended the spiral and praised her in the highest tones. She would be well tolerated by all and all her patients would be satisfied. On my note, it would also be hormones, she reassured me, the MIRENA would deliver the hormones only locally. The spiral was laid, no possible side effects were given to me on the way, a leaflet I was certainly not handed. Today I know how naive I was. On holiday 2 months ago, I got to know a young woman and we came to the subject of MIRENA, why can not I say exactly today, but on arrival at home, I researched the Internet on this topic. It is unbelievable what I read all about complaints under the MIRENA. – premature menopausal symptoms – hot flashes / sweating – water retention – circulatory problems – dizziness – hair loss – sleep disorders – night sweats – mood swings – depressive episodes – irritability – fatigue / fatigue – weight gain – joint pain – muscle tension – abdominal pain – back pain – digestive problems – vaginal infections – blemishes – Facial hair – dry eyes Almost everything I read has been coming to me in the past 4 years, and I have not had the slightest idea that it might be due to the spiral. I have been walking from doctor to doctor for months, I doubt it myself, last year I have a rectocele removed from the rectum because I can not stand the abdominal and back pain, with the result: digestion works better now, abdominal and back pain remained. Previously unfit for work and taking antidepressants and sleeping pills for weeks due to these ongoing problems. Then I get vaccinated with gynatren last year for 97, – €, because I suffer again and again of vaginal infections and thus my antibodies should be strengthened, with the result: I treat myself with vaginal pills and ointment now, because I’m stupid happen to run to the doctor again and again. Then the annual check-up at the gynecologist, all right, spiral is perfect, my mentioned problems of sweating, sleep problems, mood swings, night sweats and pain all over the body can also indicate a defect and I would like to ask my doctor’s blood to be examined. Result: thyroid, iron, vitamin D, B12, folic acid everything in the green range and 18, – € for the lab paid as non-cash benefit. Then, five weeks ago, I had arthroscopy on my right shoulder to remove an inflamed bursa. Previously, I had been in pain for about 2 years, had been a permanent guest at physiotherapy to relieve muscle tension, had taken painkillers to work, and to sleep at night, I went to the neurosurgeon, who confirmed that my cervical spine was gone intact, but age appropriate and no surgery would be necessary, fortunately. I’ve been to the rheumatologist, with the result: all right, no rheumatism. Today’s current condition: bursa is out, proliferation on the biceps has been removed, everything went well, but … I still have painful movement restrictions. Then I have massive hair loss that has even struck my hairdresser now, I have gained 10 kg in 4 years, I get pain in the joints at night, I sweat as if I was in menopause, I am moody and irritable and have Therefore I have more and more stress with my husband, I am tired and beaten during the day, but can not sleep at night, I have a bloated face in the morning, in the evening swollen fingers and water retention above the ankles, I have facial hair growth, that I shave myself daily like a man, I have dry eyes and treat them with eye drops and I have blurred vision, have had me to do a progressive lens, which also does not really help me and the optician said that I was still pretty young for a lens with Nahverstärkung. The fact is that I let the spiral go and I hope, hope, hope that I will eventually go better and I find a suitable for me hormone-free contraceptive method. I found a Swiss company on the internet selling a cycle computer called Daysy. The information sounds pretty promising, but I’m pretty undecided as to whether it makes sense at my age just before menopause.

Good morning I have had the Mirena spiral for two years. When she was put to me, I had endless pain. In the weeks after, I still felt the whole thing in the abdomen. Sometimes I even felt it when I just sat down. Then it went better. Well, for half a year I have more and more water in the tissue and I am also again (which was also the case with the last pill.) Then at the beginning with the discontinuation of the pill 8 Kg and now through the Mirena I have now I also have swollen feet in the evening but what bothers me the most are the swollen swollen breasts, even wearing a minimizer bra that supports the whole thing. The nipples are also very swollen and hurts, and I can not stand up in the evening In addition, the last exam again and again cysts were detected, which I had not before.had now decided to remove the Mirena again, but must also say that the gynecologist was not properly informed and also no brochure or the like has received, where you could inform about it!

    Mirena for Bleeding

I can confirm all listed side effects after 3.5 years. I bought for 420 EUR illnesses or let it turn. Except for a glossy brochure, a Mirena Pass and the bill I received nothing. My gynecologist has not mentioned a single side effect, but turned me on the solution of all my complaints for a usurious price. I let me remove this bastard now from another doctor.

The first time I still thought that happens over time, the body just needs his time to get used to the unfamiliar hormones. But I can not (and do not want to) think about the symptoms because they can not – they are too massive for that. Have had yesterday night with unlikely nausea, sleep bad at night, must go out often (it grumbles in the stomach, often diarrhea) – I do not know that, I am known for my solid and deep sleep and had a firm for my intestinal activity rhythm. Furthermore, I can hardly look at myself for several weeks in the mirror – bloated, ablafft, tired. I could spend the whole day in bed. Do not eat any other than before, walk – no chance to hold my weight; Let alone reduce. And that, although he spoke really well on change conversion, in the evening only fruit, etc. Was not a problem for me. Furthermore, I not only feel sexual disgust, but even aversion to my beloved work. Must think and fight every morning, so I really get up and go. I’m moody like a teenager and so emotional that I cry for every bit of it. Yesterday I decided to have my spiral removed.

I would strongly advise against the Mirena Hormone Spiral! The side effects are enormous! Moreover, they were concealed by my gynecologist, I did not get a leaflet. Also, it is not true that the hormone spiral only acts locally. The uterus is extremely well supplied with blood, the hormones are distributed throughout the body and try an enormous chaos. The common feature was that the side effects gradually crept in and – because I knew nothing about side effects – could not be associated with the Mirena. I had the first Mirena set in 2000. The insertion was horror-painful (no birth yet) and the pain lasted at least a week and I thought to get them out again immediately, but at least it had cost 300 marks. Then the pain subsided and the bleeding also subsided over time. It all seemed great and yet – I am clear today – the first side effects already arose after some time: – pigmentation on the face (brown spots) – morning sickness – swindle – whiskers on the chin 2006 Then it was time for the next Mirena , Since the threads were not findable and a “rum punch” of a FA was a horror trip and I almost collapsed, the change had to be made under general anesthesia. Everything went well, pain soon subsided. About 1 ½ years later we started: – Uncontrollable weight gain (“lifebuoy”, belly swelling, how pregnant) of altogether 11 kg in 3 years !!! I had always been slim and slim and this weight gain weighed heavily, especially because I could not do anything about it – water retention in the legs, venous problems – Increased cellulite – Libido loss (almost zero) – eye deterioration, printed blurred, veils in front of the lenses, sudden and vehemently occurring presbyopia (since I always had great eyes and never glasses, this experience was also a horror for me) – food intolerances – cold and heat sensitivity – digestive problems – hard lymph nodes under the armpits and in the groin – orange stinking discharge – Reinforced dark hair on the lower legs – sciatica, lumbago – migraine – neck tension – evening leg cramps – rheumatism-like discomfort in the left shoulder – painful itchy pimples on the neck and chin area In addition, I developed some mental problems, but I mainly a p attributed to traumatic stress disorder (sexual violence experiences in childhood): – panic attacks – tightness and choking on the neck – listlessness, listlessness, depression

The side effects of Mirena come slowly. Usually after 2 years begins the negative effect of the spiral. Tiredness, unfocused, dizziness, nausea, weakness, insomnia, joint and muscle aches, masculine hairiness, itching, odor sensitivity, breast tenderness, altered body odor, muscle atrophy, head and back pain, water retention in hands and feet, brittle fingernails, panic attacks, muscle twitching. Mirena turns healthy women into sick women. In my view, the Mirena is not recommended ..

    Mirena for Bleeding

Hello, I have the Mirena in March 2014 use, because I had very heavy bleeding after 2 births. I’m a single parent without a partner, but I just could not stand the pain of the Rule. June 2014 in 3 weeks from 70 kg to 76kg. In August on mother child cure, sports, healthy diet not the bean of weight loss! Suffering from: weight gain, cellulite (arms, legs, buttocks) Water retention all over, bloated stomach, diarrhea, sleep disturbances, tachycardia, strong sweating at night, sweat on nose and upper lip during the day, depression, suicidal thoughts, not just a second of thought lost a man or interest in the opposite sex! Today at the end of june 2016 I weigh as much as 84 kg, I look like I am 8 months pregnant, I am also regularly asked in which month I am !!! Got an appointment today (unfortunately at the end of July) to remove. My HA has given me referrals for the cardiologist, endocrinologist, gastro doctor, because of all my symptoms …. I think after reading everything here that the answer is sitting in my uterus. But no, it only works locally

Hello my dears! I have the Mirena now for almost 10 years and am extremely scared of what I’ve read (not only in this forum) now for reviews. Actually, I was just looking for a confirmation that my (now increasingly occurring) abdominal spasms are related to the spiral ….. and now I have just found a whole list of side effects, which I 80 – 90% self-confirm. For me, the Mirena was recommended because at 17 I already had a leg vein thrombosis, then was not allowed to take a pill and then got the copper spiral. But I did not tolerate these and so I was (after the birth of my son) the Mirena very dear to the heart, because it has virtually no side effects, except the great fact that the menstrual is hardly or no longer felt and see. I immediately felt so well because I had to think about no interactions with other drugs, no pill intake and so on. Every now and then I had an abdominal spasm for a few hours, but after my gynecologist said it was all alright, I did not care anymore. So after 5 years I got rid of the old one and put a new one because it was so practical and the few convulsions a year were a low price for my independence ….. That I have changed a lot in the last years , for me totally untypical behavior on the day, constantly having any physical ailments for which no doctor has an explanation (blood values all super fine, organs also everything ok) and I have almost no desire to have sex or physical closeness more meanwhile almost cost me my marriageIf I have to read now that there are hundreds of women who feel the same way, I could only howl ….. with happiness that I am not alone and finally found out and in anger, because these damn gynecologists probably all really just Provitgeil or simply blue-eyed areHere is a small list of my complaints that have crept in recent years, but increasingly occurred: – extremely frequent headaches, to migraine-like conditions – scalp itching with recurring dandruff – constantly blemished skin (had hardly pimples as a teenager) – Itching all over the body – permanent feeling of bloated, up to the feeling of being pregnant – flatulence and stool problems, despite adequate hydration (good 3 liters daily) – total libido loss (maximum 1 time every 2 to 3 months of desire, but even during which disappears) – anxiety to depression – tantrums, extreme mood swings – creeping weight gain, despite normal eating behavior (eat rather little) – water retention – pernicious pain in the abdomen, with the feeling that someone pushes a knitting needle through the vagina – memory problems – joint pain (feels gout or Ar thritis-like) – massive sleep disorders – circulatory problems – sweating to chills – constant tiredness, fatigue and listlessness ….. Yes and so it goes on and no doctor finds an explanation for even one symptom, because, after all, my blood levels okay and I’m only 31 years old. Conclusion: what should I have, except that I’m more likely to be a hypochondriac, than really sick …. I go to the gynecologist tomorrow and get advice on what I have in my situation for contraceptive options. But one thing I know for sure: This little crap comes outIf then hopefully in a few weeks at least some of my problems in the air dissolve, I would be really grateful. At the moment, all my hope lies in the removal of this thing, since I really do not know myself anymore and do not want to go on living like that. Luckily, I have a man who has been with me all these years and is really looking forward to hoping I’ll be back soon.

Hello. I’m pretty shocked what I read like that. But somehow also relieved. I thought I was crazy. Have now my 3rd Mirena. October 2013 last exchange. I found the laying even though I was childless not too cruel. But it was not great either. I am 35 years old and wanted to reliably prevent 4 years for career reasons. So it was not OK to let the Mirena lay again. I have managed so well with the Mirena for the last 10 years. That was bomb. ONLY THAT NOW! In April I suddenly had complaints, nausea, howls, depression, sweating, sleeplessness, aggression, fatigue and at the same time restlessness and meanwhile I hate to visit somebody, water retention (up to 4kg), panic attacks, chest pain, migraine attacks etc. per month approx 25 days of pain with a huge, swollen hot bosom. Normally, I am active, facing others, very laid back, enterprising, physically fit. NIX out of the end. Was at the family doctor got a blood picture done. All values are great. Thyroid is also great … No need to worry. Then I am on gyn. Due to falls in the lungs, or rather slimy, bloody disgusting secretions, with back pain and abdominal pain. Conclusion. At the end of May, I was diagnosed with a cyst on the left ovary, but it was already dry. So died by itself. Estrogen excess – body thinks he was pregnant was the statement of the doctor – may happen again, but does not have – na primmmmmmmaaaaa – then breast examination. Two cysts discovered. For mammography but only for safety. Had to cancel 2 appointments, because I have only breast tensions and can not even say when they come and go. In the last two Mirenas I had a very reliable. Cycle. And never bleeding. Now in July I have the same symptoms again – I’m fed up. Tomorrow morning I have an appointment to move. I want to be myself again and not hormone controlled. I’m glad if this thing is finally out. Contraception must then somehow go differently – that settles already. Until October 13 I would have recommended Mirena to everyone and there are plenty of people who get along just fine. I thought also 10 years. It was also like that … but you change yourself too and at some point the body suddenly says NÖ! I started to hate this thing in me …….By the way, GV is not to think at all, because I have absolutely no desire. In the head sometimes, but that’s gone very quickly, because I feel completely stressed out of all this. In addition, since the last use little secretion still exists. So furztrocken … So from tomorrow a hormone-free life – jihaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa – I’m happy. Dorina

My experiences with Mirena have only become clear to me since my last insertion (third time at age 45). Only through the strong pain after pulling the old and simultaneously inserting the new spiral, I’ve googled a bit. And now I feel so stupid not to have thought earlier that my many complaints could come from the Mirena. These include frequent mild nausea (usually in the morning), breast tenderness (very painful), frequent headaches, back pain, a dripping nose all winter, always some water in the legs. But worst of all is my mood swings, I would call it depression. I’m always tired and every evening invitation is the horror for me because then I can not sleep early. Today I was with my doctor and wanted to remove the Mirena, she wrote me antidepressants and said I should try it first. The complaints could not possibly come from the Mirena … well, I let myself be talked over again and I think I’ll take things differently now. Since we certainly do not want any more children and I’m already 45, my partner could be sterilized and then I can remove the spiral. In any case, I can only advise against the Mirena, although it is very safe and relatively inexpensive. I’m sure I will not take the antidepressants, this is only symptom control, no cause-fighting.
