    Tamoxifen for Breast cancer

Hello, maybe an encouraging report on taking tamoxifen after 9 months. Diagnosis and surgery January 2009, then radiation, no chemo. Gain weight (which is still limited) and sometimes a bit exhausted. Need reading glasses since then, more I can not report on side effects. Preventing osteoporosis I take Dekristol and if it is too much with the fatigue I’ll take a vitamin supplement, mostly Vitasprint and imagine a very strong …. I feel better, but I think it already looks a bit tamoxifen the body withdraws a lot. To all, who are not doing so well, head up and enjoy the beautiful hours. Kathrin

    Tamoxifen for Breast cancer

I am taking Tamoxifen 20mg since January 2010. First, I had extreme hot flashes and sweats. This has settled after about 4 – 5 months. Hot flashes rarely occur. But I suffer from severe bone pain and water retention, especially in the feet. I have totally broken fingernails. However, what I am particularly worried about is the weight gain of now about 12 kg. And my eyesight has deteriorated in the past few months. Lymphatic drainage helps with the water retention, I take homeopathic remedies for joint pain. Furthermore, I started Nordic Walking. Since then, my general condition has improved a lot.

    Tamoxifen for Breast cancer

I had breast cancer in 2009, which was due to hormones. When I have to take tamoxifen after the irradiation, I am soon tricked out. Had just wanted to beat me, was from minute to the other minute something of strange, I had not recognized me again .First cheered and I wanted to tear out trees, in the näxten minute I would have jumped out of the window. My Physiotherapheut says I’m manic, that’s me too. Then the doc said I have to take the monthly injection, the would be the hammer.Enatone-gyn.und seut the torment me every day, lack of motivation, hot flashes, I get nothing more in the series and that is how agonizing die.jeden day.ich I got help, because I was completely alone ‘I’ve gained 30 kilos and it’s getting more and more, even if I eat nothing. It’s cruel. And I do not want to live like that anymore. Today I sat down and swore I would not take it that way.

I am taking tamoxifen for 2 years now after a hormonal breast cancer surgery. I can not report anything negative except that my eyes have deteriorated. But that is bearable with appropriate glasses. As I do a lot of sports (3 x per week gym, 2 x dancing) I feel like I’m in top shape. I have neither bone problems nor do I feel cut off. However, I pay close attention to my weight. I weigh myself in the morning and in the evening. I am 51 years, 170 tall and weigh 65 kilos. I lost 5 kg with tamoxifen. I have to take Tamoxifen for another 3 years and hope that I will feel so good afterwards.

Yes, we just have to go through it if we want to LIVE. Have been on therapy with Zoladex and Tamox for three years. Diagnosis I got when I was 37 years and my little one just 3.. In three weeks – if everything o.k. is – drops the syringe. Then the Tamox probably 2 years. I did not believe the whole thing with the side effects at first. But it’s really what our doctors say to us – unbelievableI used to say that they should not be so stupid, but meanwhile I do not say anything anymore. I’m currently building such small pillars, such as After stopping the syringe it gets a little better, or something. It’s not all that easy, but when I read the other reports, I’m actually doing relatively well with the whole thing. And by the way: I have noticed that the whole thing is much easier when you see everything a bit looser and all the stress of us 150% wanting women, mothers, housewives and sharp workers! The last holiday in GR was also hot, but I did not care more than any other. At home, I can change clothes three times a day and change sheets every other day – yes, yes, but the main thing is that we work! And then the rest in a nutshell: Reduction of vision – Doc says it can not be that way – in my opinion, I am as blind as a eagle-owl, but then there will probably be other reasons. Vaginal dryness nd libido loss – whether the relationship will survive that will turn out. Bone pain I had at the beginning of Theraüoe. by now, but relatively rare, I’m definitely not as resilient as before and now try to implement a humorous and bearable level for me. My goal is actually only to experience the 20th birthday of my child. Best regards and all the best from Tyrol.
