Abilify for Dissociative disturbance; Hallucinations; Post-traumatic stress disorder

had multiple strong cramps of the arms, neck, hands and feet. Very painful. Left temporarily with Akineton. During the whole time I could not sit still, concentrate on anything, or stay calm. Nothing went, even with exercise it did not get better. In addition there were extreme sleep disturbances (which had not previously existed to such an extent). The benefits (decrease in dissociation, flashbacks, hallucinations etc) were less than the damage

Abilify for Drive disorders; Sleep disorders

Seroquel at the beginning of very strong fatigue and drowsiness, but after proper dosing that took a bit of time and dropped, we went so halfway well. Unfortunately, the fatigue can not disappear even after years, you have to divide the day well, the only one, strong overweight, have up to 25 kil. increased, for a year I take because of the improvement no more seroquel and the weight is since then again without diet wegababer but to get the dissociative disorder and the post-traumatic stress in grasp it was umungängich and brought successful recovery. depakine redard, no side effects, very well tolerated, I still have, keeps my mood quite well in the balance, kickiko has triggered more nightmares with me, but took them anyway due to the sleeplessness resolved, but today I switched to dominal forte, As the dreams became more, Abilify caused me great restlessness, sometimes I could not sit still or stand still, even in bed my feet slipped, was extremely unpleasant

    Abilify for Psychosis

After experiencing my psychosis, I got Risperdal, which made me very stiff. After I switched to Abilify the stiffness was gone. Abilify caused me inner anxiety which later disappeared, but the restlessness in the legs remained until today. In the time with Olanzanpin and Abilify I have gained about 15 kilos. I was able to lose 5 kilos after my jaw operation, but I still weigh 85 kilos.

    Abilify for Psychosis

Hello! Take Abilify in low dosage (2.5mg) for about 4 weeks in the evening! At the beginning of the intake strong restlessness and anxiety in the evening sleep disturbances. Now after 3-4 weeks stiff neck, restlessness, pulling in the joints, mild heart pain with radiation in the left arm, massive breathing problems (difficult to breathe) slight cramps in the throat, tingling and pulling in the legs. But it also works very well against the psychosis and after I took Zyprexa for years and was constantly dizzy and gaining weight, I want to stay with Abilify for the time being. Have in these 4 weeks of taking also lost about 10 kg of weight which is also positive. In severe convulsions I take 1/2 Akineton (1mg) in the evening I take a light antidepressant Trittico 75mg. Sleep is back. I hope that the side effects improve and the antidepressant begins to work (take it for about 3-4 days)!

    Abilify for Hallucinations; Psychosis

One day, 10 years ago, I started to hear voices. But only went to the doctor when I could not stand it anymore. The diagnosed schizophrenia and I were prescribed amisulpride. This worked within a very short time and turned off the votes. At first I only got 100mg, but thats not much, I know people who take 600mg daily. Despite the low dose, my body now changed, gaining almost 20 kg (from 66 kg to 86 kg for a 1.80 m middle-aged man). During this weight gain, I always felt I was not properly in my body, but that’s over now. Also, the weight gain came to a standstill, the weight now remains at 86 to 87 kg, where I must practice discipline while eating, but have no food cravings, otherwise no other side effects. The regular dose is now 200 mg daily. Because this constant feeling of fullness and the swollen abdomen went to the cookie, I asked for a medication that does not make you fat. We then tried it with Abilify. Already in the pharmacy the shock: Abilify costs a multiple of Amisulprid and I had to pay 10 euros, which I do not have to Amisulprid. After taking 10 mg Abilify extreme restlessness, a tingling and pulsing throughout the body, so I could not sleep at night. In spite of Abilify, the voices came back, so the dose should have been increased, which would have worsened sleep problems. After a few days of Abilify, I returned to Amisulprid. I’m still waiting until a drug is developed that I tolerate and that does not make me fat.

Side effects: Tingle; Increase in weight; Unrest

    Abilify for Psychosis

I switched from 4mg Fluanxol to 15mg Abilify and 2mg Fluanxol. After 5 days I got the first hallucinations and after 10 days I could not sleep even with attached sleeping pills. As with all neuroleptics, I was also an impotent and had akathisia and weight gain. So far worst drug, although Dogmatil triggered a psychosis with me and I am suffering from fears since then.

    Abilify for Psychosis

Within days, I got hallucinations, sleep problems. I’ve gained weight, was impotent, got anxiety and severe heart and circulatory problems. In addition, I became very restless. The drug triggers the symptoms against which it is supposed to work. I would not recommend this medicine to anyone. It is also very expensive. For me, Abilify is one of the worst drugs.

    Abilify for Sleep disorders; Psychosis

could sleep 3 weeks and 6 days at a stretch not at night, tremendous drive increases occurred to me as under cocaine, constant sexual desire and increased potency, paranoid ideas, pricks in the heart, agitation, weight loss by 10 kilograms and loss of appetite these side effects lasted until Absetzing, sleeping I could only back when given by Seroquel Abilify acts like an upper and Seroquel like a downer, which one can compare with the mode of action of some drugs from my point of view, this drug should be banned!

    Abilify for Depression; Psychosis

At that time I switched to Abilifly because I needed what pushes me and does not make me tired like Leponex, Seroquel … the positive thing I’ve noticed after a few days is that I’m fitter, quicker thinking, got up earlier by myself without an alarm clock, I’ve got it all together less sleep. But over time it became. the whole thing to a disaster: The thoughts / opinions have changed so quickly, often in the opposite, have found no rest, could not concentrate on one thing. At the time, I was still having acute panic attacks every night and Abilfy only intensified them. In my opinion, my fine motor skills suffered as well, my hands were stiff and could only make a pain in pain. After 3 weeks I have to stop it because the side effects were too blatant and it just did not get better and that was no longer acceptable with the hands

    Abilify for Sleep disorders; Psychosis

I take Abilify since it came to Germany in the market since 2004. I have all neuroleptics through and suffered by strong overweight of Leponex and Zyprexa a heart attack at 24 years. Suffer from muscle atrophy from neuroleptics. This means my heart muscle value ck mb and ck are increased by 30- 50 times when I take another neuroleptics. I had to spend 1 year every day in the psychiatric blood checks to find out which neuroleptics makes any of these muscle increases. The only one was Abilify. The rest could have devastating consequences. I need someone with a lot of experience because I’m at a loss. With Abilify I had strong restlessness, fears, sleep disturbances. Yes, even the sexual behavior became stronger, which actually makes me happy because all other neuroleptics made me impotent. Insofar I am glad that I may have sex again. Nevertheless, Abilify is not the solution. I could not stand the side effect, so I took benzos, that is diazepam. The fears disappeared, the restlessness and I could sleep. Meanwhile, I take 20 mg diazepam a day and it does not work properly anymore. I know that it makes you dependent, but I have not endured the conditions of Abilify. By taking Diazepam for years I feel like I’m in the head. Totally shielded and slowly I feel like dumb. I can not think correctly anymore, but that also happened with abilify. I can not take any other medication due to my heart attack and my muscle increases. It’s like a vicious circle, I can not get out of it. I am now psychosis free for 5 years and do not want to go back to the clinic just to test what suits me. I am already experienced. I would prefer to withdraw the diazepam and completely depose neuroleptics, and then just live again. There is still a difficult road ahead of me. I can tell anyone to take Benzos only on time that means as long as necessary, which does not make it dependent. And if you do not agree abilify others try to stay stable.

    Abilify for Psychosis

After a psychosis in November 2013, I was prescribed Risperidone, which was really torture for me. I was just a zombie, felt nothing. Laid all day on the couch and watched the second hand. Complete loss of libido and weight gain (13 kg). When I was not plagued by fears and obsessions, I had depression. When I did not have depression, I had fears and obsessive thoughts. It was an eternal vicious circle that I thought I could not get out of. After six months and hope I was then switched to 15 mg Abilify (creeping increased), because I simply did not tolerate the risperidone and it has not, as hoped, has contributed to an improvement in my symptoms. Already after a week of taking (Abilify) I realized how the obsessive thoughts had disappeared like at the touch of a button, I suddenly realized that my psychosis was just the purest drama of my head. I noticed how my libido slowly returned. I felt partially healed. I had to struggle with fears in public for about 2 weeks, whereas I was prescribed Seroquel. After 2 days of Seroquel, the fears disappeared in public and I had to fight only with depression, whereas I then got prescribed sertraline. Under Sertraline I had problems with my libido again. I did not want to carry this around with me again, so I sold Sertralin by hand. That is a good year now and until today my libido has not come back. But I also believe that it could be because I still take Abilify. I am only smarter when I am completely without medication. By and large, I’m mostly satisfied with Abilify … no weight gain. But I always feel very restless and become fastidious. Slight pull in the legs and restlessness while sitting (urge to move), sleep is very good, without intermediate awakening. Only every day dreams that feel totally real. Abilify has helped me more than it has side effects.

    Abilify for Psychosis

I am female, 37 years old and take that Abilify are the acute phase (paranoid schizophrenia). In the schizophrenic phase, Abilify in combination with Risperdal and Tavor helped me, so I became clear after three weeks. Then I only got Abilify in the maximum dose. The first three months with this drug were very, very unpleasant. Morning extreme restlessness, urge to move, difficulty sleeping, and switching from the stimulating phase to the sedating phase of this median were hard to take. From noon I was inhibited in thinking, the cycle went down, I took in the wake of the yo-yo effect again 40 kg. After creeping were the extreme restlessness / urge to move, and the very strong sedation away. Or. weakened. Abilify also slows down fat metabolism and increases appetite, just like any other antipsychotic. Although not quite so much as in other, but the loss is very difficult due to the inertia and the two just mentioned effects. The effectiveness, so the antipsychotic effect was not perfect even for me in the maximum dose. Good, but not perfect. And it annoys me to have to take another sedative in addition to be able to sleep at least 6-7 hours! Any additional agent increases the side effect of weight gain. When the second or third drug-inducing drug breaks any metabolism! On the antidepressant effect: it is drive-enhancing by the impulse of (nor) adrenaline, but too little serotonin is triggered and thus increased. I’m restless half the day, but my mood could really be better. After that, from noon onwards, the effect changes to the opposite. And I’m calmer, more tired. Conclusion: Who has no psychotic symptoms – keep away! And as little as possible, but as much as necessary. Lower doses are always to be preferred. For depression alone: choose a different drug. It is not a miracle product !! For me, Abilify has only been very effective antipsychotic in combination with Risperdal. I do not wish anyone a weight gain of 45 KG in total after 13 years of taking different antipsychotics. The Discrimination is so enormous that I tell everyone from the unnecessary !!! Can advise against taking psychotropic drugs. Because not only my body is dirty, my soul is hurt! Good psychotherapy is sometimes more effective than letting oneself drone. Human affection is the alpha and omega. Since I am also afraid of the so-called weaning difficulties … I am looking for a psychiatrist who works independently of the pharmaceutical industry. (MEZIS: Which means: I pay my own food. An association of independent doctors, specialists and psychiatrists.) Greetings from a responsible patient

Abilify for Sleep disorders; Bipolar disorder; Depression

My mood is more balanced overall with the Abilify and the other medications in combination. I only cry very little and stay calm in all situations. The quality of my sleep at night is also improved. In conclusion; it helps and stabilizes me enough to finally be able to shape my normal everyday life. However, there are side effects that are unfortunately not always so pleasant for me.
