    Doxepin for Dizziness

Hello, I am 33 years old and had an intervertebral disc surgery, I got Tramal before that and not a little 6 tablets a200mg. I did not want the tablets after surgery and my body was crazy. My doctor sent me to a detox where I got Doxepin 4 times a day 25mg. On the second day I felt totally bad: dizzy, tired, powerless, beeping in the ears, bad falling asleep, headache. I was told these are side effects of Doxepin. Now after a week nothing has improved. Can someone tell me when that stops and I feel better, every day the same because you will be so stupid. Please help. Thank you

I have been taking Doxepin for almost 9 years. I suffer from somatization disorders and depression. For me, many side effects have occurred, which I can not name all. It started with heavy, tired legs. Noses bleed, tinnitus, flying mosquitoes, sweating, freezing, pain in the joints, tension in the entire musculature, dry mouth, u.s, w.

I have been taking Doxipin for a year and am very satisfied with its effectiveness. The creep phase was twofold, my anxiety disorder was actually gone immediately, but the depression got worse. After 6 weeks, in consultation with my psychiatrist, I increased the dose from 50 mg to 75 mg and since then I have been getting better every day. I’m very glad that after an Odysee of hospital stays and psychotherapies I finally found a way to live a normal life again and feel comfortable. Since I take the slight side effects (weight gain, limited sexuality and now and then a slight tinnitus) very much in purchase.

I have been taking Doxepin for many years and the effect has diminished. I was prescribed mirtazapine and have been taking it for 3 weeks while reducing doxepin. Since these 3 weeks I have as the only positive effect of Mirtazapine a shorter sleep and better Durchlafphase, but my fears have accompanied me for 30 years have massively intensified – special evil are my dizziness attacks that can suddenly freeze me in the movement, or while sitting I think I’m falling off the chair now. Other symptoms include tinnitus with a hearing loss, the whole is crowned by hereditary anxiety that my body fibrieren all day with a recurring feeling that in me but soon out the light. I will stop mirtazapine from now on and yet again take the familiar Doxepin.

    Doxepin for Depression

I am 58 years old and have had moderate to severe depression for a good half year and therefore was initially given citalopram. However, this caused a massive deterioration of my condition within a few days, which is why my psycho-doctor recommended me as an alternative Doxepin. Doxepin I take now for 3 weeks and my depressive general condition has basically neither improved nor worsened. But there are now really unpleasant side effects such as persistent fatigue and very annoying tinnitus, a high-pitched, in both ears. Therefore, I expect to discontinue the drug very soon, as long as there is no noticeable improvement in my depression in the short term.
