Amitriptyline for Arthrosis; Pain (acute); Depression

Because of my severe pain, I take Oxicodon 20 mg daily and then Oxicodone 20 mg every morning and evening. In the beginning I was thrilled because my pain was almost gone. I did not know that for years. After 1 year I had to increase to 40mg daily, as the pain came back. I know that without this medication, I could not stand my pain anymore, but meanwhile I have to struggle with the side effects. In addition to heavy constipation, tiredness, irritability, stomach problems and very strong sweats, I can concentrate very badly. Most of all, I struggle with strong withdrawal symptoms if I do not take Oxicodon punctually.

    Amitriptyline for Pain (chronic)

After an operation on the sternum, I suffer from chronic pain. I started with the strongest Tilidin, Katadolon and Saroten. Unfortunately, this did not help against the pain at all. So I got Fentanylpflaster 50 micrograms, change every 2 days, otherwise on the 3rd day the strong pain is back completely. If necessary I take ibuprofen 600mg and tramadol and in the evening 1 saroten (amitriptyline). On most days, I tolerate the patches quite well. At first I had constipation, now only rarely. Among other things, I have sweats now and then, fatigue, but what is bearable, worse are the days when you have depressive mood swings and anxiety, but thank God not too often occur. I have not been able to drive until now, but I will start again soon. Of the other drugs I have no side effects. But I usually do not even notice the analgesic effect of ibuprofen. Side effects are summarized by fentanyl: sweating, constipation, fatigue, anxiety disorders and depressive mood swings

Since 2002 I have a massive intolerance to all medicines, also homeopathic kind and also vitamin tablets. As soon as I take them for more than 3-4 days, I get a strong feeling of muscle weakness in the legs, severe pain in the shoulder, a headache, dizziness, sweats, high pulse. I feel very ill then. I would, however, urgently need to take pills. I have heart pills, hip problems, osteoporosis and severe nervous disorders. I was with all doctors, naturopaths etc. Who has these problems too and can help me. Best regards Monika
