    Lorazepam for Obsessive compulsive disorder

Have taken Lorazepam for a period of five weeks because of a compulsive disorder. At first only irregular, but then more and more often (dependency development). In fact, it helps against the symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder, but only as long as you are on it. When you come down they get worse. I also suddenly had to fight with suicidal thoughts. That’s completely alien to me otherwise. I am glad that I do not take it now. Other side effects of Lorazepam: Hair loss (still has not stopped) and itchy rash on the hands.

Side effects: Suicidal ideation; Hair loss

    Lorazepam for Depression

Citalopram: Although taking this drug often caused sleepless nights (extreme reality-related nightmares), my condition improved noticeably. Although I was often irritable, but also happy and relaxed. Side effects: – strong mood swings – at night nightmares and panic attacks Mirtazapine: The use of this drug brought 11 days of ever-increasing drive and listlessness, as well as a persistent urge to suicide and self-injury. Side effects: – persistent fatigue – nausea / bloating – extreme worsening of the condition – aggressiveness / anger Laif900: This drug is herbal and I tolerate it very well, as it has no side effects. Anyway, I could not find any. Opipramol: This drug is intended for the night. Every half an hour before going to bed, I have to take 50mg of Opipramol. I realize that I am not convinced by this drug because I can not sleep well or sleep well. Side effects: – agitation – nausea Lorazepam: I should take this drug in case of internal restlessness. Half an hour after taking it, I am completely calm and relaxed. I could not find any side effects yet.

    Lorazepam for Borderline

I took Lorazepam only for a very short time (12 days, initially 2mg daily, then 1mg each) and kept to the exact specifications of my psychiatrist. During the intake, I had little side effects, except for a slightly dizzy feeling. It worked quickly and well, I became calmer, did not have to cry all the time, could concentrate and sleep again. But when I discontinued the medication (in consultation with my psychiatrist in very small steps) I had massive problems: I did not sleep several nights in a row, I was sick, I had all over my body sensations (tingling, ants) and also mentally I was even worse, than before the beginning of the intake: fears, Howling cramps, thoughts of suicide … After a few days, these depreciation phenomena then, thank God. Conclusion: A very fast and effective drug, but if it does not have to be, I would not recommend it. Personally, I would only persuade myself to do so in the worst case scenario.
