I was given this drug because doctors claim I am manic-depressive. There were already some drug experiments on me, which all showed serious side effects, including Trileptal. It does not appear from the package leaflet that it is approved for this purpose at all. NW: Severe fatigue, apathy to apathy, weight gain (although not as strong as Depakine or Convulex), significant sleep disorders (especially sleep problems despite all sleeping pills and relaxation techniques I know), strong mood swings, lack of concentration, sometimes strong tremor, always strong Hair loss, unexplained purple spots on the skin, itching, recurrent nausea, dose increase (over 900 mg), the sodium balance is disturbed immediately and double vision for several hours a day occurred. Trittico was also given to me temporarily, and the combination of these two medications for about 4 months led to a severe psychiatric crisis for sleep deprivation for more than 4 days a few months ago (I could not go back to sleep, no matter what I did) Sleeping pills were useless). For the most part I have had unusual mood swings since the first treatment. Currently, I have Trileptal for 3 months very slowly creep out with medical help, and 150 mg daily still have high fatigue to apathy (although no longer persistent), hair loss, blurred vision, about 4 times a week tremor at bedtime (which is falling asleep strongly disturbing), nausea (but now less often), difficulty falling asleep (which are already getting better, because the tremor is rarer). The concentration disorders have become better, I attribute this to now better sleep and lower dosage. The mood swings have practically disappeared. At the end of the year, I am detoxified and I hope that I have not suffered further irreversible iatrogenic disorders, as with other medications.
