    Lyrica for Stroke

After reading many other reviews I can agree to 90% of all letters! Sleeplessness despite fatigue, weight gain, water in the legs, inner restlessness, tremors in the limbs, mild speech disorders, no improvement of the disease! That should be enough to sell the preparation !!!

Lyrica for Sleep disorders; Depression; Pain (chronic)

I have been taking Valdoxan 25 mg for 4 weeks and am so satisfied with the drug, knowing that it takes at least 4 weeks for the drug to build up a level in the body and take at least as long to take the side effects. I had mild nausea, mild flushing, and mild sleep disturbances. But I am firmly convinced that this will lessen. I also hope to let the other drugs creep after quite some time.

My experiences with Lyrica I am 44 years old, male. Software developers. Overall, I took Lyrica for over 18 months. After a coccyx tear and subsequent partial resection, the pain persisted and even became worse in the scar area. The pain therapist prescribed Lyrica first with 2x50mg, then 2x75mg and later 2x150mg. Decisive for Lyrica was the assumption of unfavorably fused nerve endings after the operation. Lyrica is also said to help with surgical pain. At 2x50mg the side effects were moderate. At the time I made other circumstances responsible for the new sleep disturbances. The pain remained unchanged. With 2x75mg, the following side effects occurred: The cognitive performance was reduced. – Lack of concentration – Memory weakness (I could not remember the simplest things) – Weight gain 10 Kg in 6 months – Increased fatigue – Increased (!) Libido – Generally can not see well – Restless legs With 2x150mg – The pain got worse (!) Instead better. My whole buttocks hurt me all the time. Lately also in walking and standing. Sitting in the office for more than 6 hours was not possible. Car rides were tolerable for a maximum of 30 minutes. – slowed reactions – heavy double-vision already read after 10-30 minutes, screen work or television – photosensitivity. Violent starbucks. Night driving was only possible with sunglasses. – Additional weight gain of 10 kg in 6 months – Water retention in the legs. Support stockings were now required. – extreme tiredness! (I fell asleep multiple times in the office during work, which could have cost me my job if anyone had noticed!) – Severe memory problems (What’s the name of the item? Oh, that’s a spoonful). As a programmer, an unspeakable condition, though you can not remember how something works. My head is my capital. And if it does not work properly, I will be unemployed. – If I ever forget a dose, I got withdrawal symptoms. Muscle, limb and headache. These very serious side effects and the obvious lack of effect have led me to sneak away Lyrica. At the moment I am at 2x25mg and in three days at 1x25mg. A few side effects are partially gone (fatigue, restless legs) or at least reduced (sleep disorder, memory, increased libido). The rest is still unchanged. As a result of the sloughing, the following side effects have now been added, but they are supposed to disappear in the end. – Acne – Itching I do not want to advise against Lyrica, because there are probably good useful results. For me, however, the side effects were a hundred times worse than the expected positive effect. Interaction with other means is more likely to be ruled out. Except Lyrica, I took only occasionally Nexium 20mg because of stomach hyperacidity. Otherwise nothing else. Before I got Lyrica, I was prescribed tilidine drops, which only helped marginally. Now, with only 2x25mg Lyrica, after one year I finally feel awake again. I hope that really all side effects and very special the double images disappear again.

    Lyrica for Spastik; Pain (chronic)

Due to the spastic tetraplegia, my musculature cramps more than a healthy muscle in pain. Therefore, at the onset of chronic pain syndrome, I was prescribed Katadolone directly. As a side effect I felt at the beginning almost only the tiredness. In the meantime, the following side effects have come along: muscle tremors, dry mouth, constipation, some sleep disturbances, restlessness (physical type). For two months I still take Tilidine Retard (50/4) 3 times a day and as a combination Tilidin solution (as needed 2 – 4 x daily 20 drops). Again, fatigue plays a role as a side effect. In addition, I get Lyrica 25 mg in the evening for a few days. These should take the share of neuropathic pain. Here are also the side effects of fatigue, tremors and dry mouth. Inwiewiet the Lyrica is increased is still unclear. But it is sure that it will stay with me a low dose.

I took Lyrika 50mg and it worked at first. Had to increase dose up to 400mg. The following side effects occurred more frequently (after 8 months): pain in the legs, confusion, sleep disturbances, anxiety and panic attacks, weight gain, cardiac arrhythmia, respiratory depression. Have it then discontinued with good success / compatibility.

    Lyrica for Fibromyalgia; Pain (acute)

Part 1 of my experience: Dosage 3x 200mg daily During this time, I had determined 80% of the side effects as commonly reported. What annoyed me most was the constant thirst and that I’ve gained almost 20kg so far. In addition, the excess was initially very uncomfortable. But after a few months, most of the side effects went away by themselves. Only slight excess, often headaches, bad sleep and lack of concentration were always. I also had one of the rare side effects. But until you noticed that, it was almost a year of guessing. Because suddenly my chest grew. I always had cup size A- and today I filled C’s. Is not bad … others operate, I took Lyrica;). In addition, from time to time still came to walk, so I had the feeling not to be present and could barely walk. Since I was therefore unable to work anymore (among other things), the dosage lagsam was reduced. More about it soon.

    Lyrica for Sleep disorders; Depression

Immediately after the first intake, I noticed a slight restlessness in my legs. This has settled after a week. Despite the sleep problems caused by Elontril, Elonril is helping me so well against my pain that I am willing to accept them. the zolpidem but much better against my diagnosis. Unfortunately I have 10st of it. Spent over the day and as much as I need no doctor writes me. These are really the only ones that help me.

    Side effects: Unrest; Sleep disorders

    Lyrica for Depression

Be 1.5 years severe depressive episode with panic attacks and generalized anxiety disorder. Panic Attacks: Venlaflaxin very good effect. Lyrica only minor effect. Other drugs have no effect. Generalized anxiety disorder: Lyrica very good effect, venlaflaxin moderate to good effect. Lamotrigine moderate effect. Depression: Therapy resistance to antidepressants of the SSRI and SSRNI class (venlaflaxin, sertraline, citalopram). Therapy to lithium. Wellbutrin low to moderate effect. Lamotrigine very good effect. Nicotine addiction (unplanned treatment): Wellbutrin very good effect. Side effects Venlaflaxin in the first four weeks: anxiety, dizziness, severe agitation, loss of libido, headache, sleep disorders. Venlaflaxin after the first four weeks: complete loss of libido. Lyrica: weight gain, initially tiredness. Wellbutrin: Sleep disorders, headache (both only at the beginning). Dry mouth. Lithium: Severe tremor, acne, weight gain, dry mouth, thirst. Lamotrigine: no side effects. After more than a year of drug treatment and unsuccessful treatments, I was prescribed the drug lamotrigine. This works very well, without side effects. Since I also have ADHD, it has modified my depression. The result was, as with many ADHD and depression patients, an extensive therapy license. According to my specialist in ADHD and mood disorders (depression, anxiety), the drugs Wellbutrin and Lamotrigine are in most cases very effective while classic antidepressants fail. After more than 1.5 years of immeasurable torment and suffering, I am finally on the road to recovery. Even if one does not believe it, it passes. PS: Was briefly treated with Seroquel (fatigue, appetite increase, weight gain) and Ritalin (agitation)
