Fluoxetine for Aggressiveness; Psychological instability; Depression

Significant improvement: better assessment of previously depressed situations (did not notice the difference until after taking the medication), emotionally less depressive rashes down, less to 180, increase drive, could move me in social situations much more relaxed, cessation of active suicidal thoughts. Side effects: palpitations, heart rhythm disturbances, sometimes chest tightness when lying down, often awake at night for 2-4 hours (stupid if you have to return to the office in the morning …), thus also gaining weight (controlling eating disorders at night was more difficult), partly over-spirited mood.

    Fluoxetine for Depression

The antidepressive effect is good, unfortunately, with the duration of intake decreases a little. Disadvantage is that it is very drive-enhancing and therefore has a negative effect on the ability to relax. The consequences are constant over-rotation, under power and sleep disturbances. Side effects also include sexual dysfunction.

    Fluoxetine for Burnout syndrome; Depression

After diagnosis of depression caused by burn-out treatment by 20mg fluoxetine. After 7 months no significant improvement in symptoms, especially the physical, noticeable. Falling asleep, very lively dreams, nocturnal sweating, vertigo, lack of drive, difficulty concentrating, tiredness, nausea right after taking the drug. Weight loss also not recorded;). My doctor had actually promised me that about 1.5 weeks after the start of receipt, I would feel as if a switch was put in me, so that in the morning, for example, I could easily get out of bed. Unfortunately, the desired effect did not materialize and now I am switching to another drug to control the depression.

    Fluoxetine for Depression

Nausea and diarrhea at first, which was bearable. Slight increase of panick attacks inner restlessness. After about 3 weeks, these side effects were gone, the effect occurred so after 4-6 weeks, then increased again from 20 mg to 40 mg. Then again had slight stomach and intestinal problems but only a few days. Later, as side effects, I had frequent yawning, dry mouth / throat, muscle tremors and muscle twitching before falling asleep. From the beginning I had Ein- and sleep problems that are not completely gone but to endure. In summary, I can say that the side effects were or are and have not affected me as much as the depression and anxiety. The positive effect has so far predominated. Very disgusting I found fluoxetine from Hexal, which dissolve immediately in the mouth and have a very bitter taste, sometimes they stuck in my throat. Now I take fluoxetine neuraxpharm film-coated tablets, which are better.

    Fluoxetine for Drive disorders

Side effects: the first few weeks gastrointestinal discomfort, e.g. Diarrhea, pain in the upper abdomen, thereby initially loss of appetite. At the beginning of therapy I had inner restlessness and sleep disturbances, which disappeared after about 3 weeks. Benefits: unlike amitriptyline and mirtazapine, you do not feel permanently tired and distressed, and do not get fat because you are always hungry. I tolerate this anti-depressant much better than mirtazapine and amitriptyline. The effect came to me already after 2 weeks and I feel at the moment very relaxed and resilient, I must be too, because I have three children and am working.

    Fluoxetine for Obsessive compulsive disorder

Take because of an obsessive-compulsive disorder now for 2 months 20mg. The obsessive thoughts are gone for the moment and I get along better with being people. Unfortunately, the side effects are quite extreme. I can barely sleep through. I’m dead tired but can not sleep. My friend escapes almost every night because I’m so restless. I can barely keep my feet still and have the feeling I have a bum in my chest … so an inner turmoil. If I sleep then it is a maximum of 3 hours in the piece, in which I have pretty real-acting dreams and after waking up also demensprechend is a boon. Sometimes when I wake up I’m not even sure if I’ve dreamed it or if it’s real. In addition, I constantly have to go to the toilet at night … or have the feeling of having to have a constant bladder infection, although it is hardly possible after such a short time. However, the worst is sleep disorders. I can not get up in the morning and often post appointments. I’m always tired and feel so often at noon as broken as after a long day. I would be glad if I can give jmd tips vllt what you can do with sleep disorders with fluoxetine …. I’m already thinking of whether I should just settle …

    Fluoxetine for Depression

At the beginning sleep disturbances, but lay down after about 3 weeks. The restlessness lasted a long time (was a problem because I am always very nervous and restless, shaking became better with time, so at the beginning I also had a severe stomach ache for the first few weeks.) In the first months I had a weight loss of about 5 But without this medication, I would not have been able to get my education because I was so depressed that I wanted to stop my training, and after a few days, I noticed a very good recovery (despite the side effects) .I was more balanced, happier and important was much, much more concentrated at work, as well as at school, but after 8 years the effect wore off and I slowly discontinued the medication, but now I have not taken it for 5 months, but for a few weeks I am feeling bad again. As of today, I’m taking fluoexetine again and I’m feeling better again, of course, that can be imaginative, I’m a bit worried because I’m back on the medication and I am also afraid that I can not be completely satisfied without fluoxetine.

As described in the instruction leaflet, I had two weeks strong side effects such as headache !!! gen.Unwohls.Panikattacken, anxiety in increased form, increased transpiration, restlessness, especially at night (difficulty falling asleep), dry mouth and especially the tremor when speaking (ehlich frog in the throat ). As I said after two weeks sounded this NW and I feel much better since then. Come with 10mg Fluox and do not want to raise, even if it is sometimes urgently needed. But I am a little careful with the high dose and glad that I through! (minimum dose !!!) 10mg back to normal everyday life and can do my job without anxiety. Lg to all PS .: Thanks to the drug

In May 2007, I was diagnosed with a Generalized Anxiety Disorder …. at that time I was only treated with Fluoxetine 20 mg … which also worked well … had only possibly still panic attacks … In July of this year, I had the fluoxetine completely deposed … I thought I would be better and I would manage without the medication … quite clearly wrong thought … because for about 3 weeks my panic attacks are back …. the fluoxetine was set back .. .. first 10 mg, then 20 mg … I can not say exactly what happened … whether it was due to the drug or because I have too much puree …. I was of the opinion that my attacks have become worse are …. now for about 6 days I take in the evening 30 mg mirtazapine … because I could sleep badly because I constantly heart rate, trembling and Musclezuckungen had or still partially have …. for about 2 days I have the feeling as if I have a fever … (have not measured any there) I will st really hot …. and have such a burn on the skin … but have no rash …. am constantly trembling … Muscle twitches …. fear and panic …. I just do not continue .. I hope this is somebody who has possibly made such experiences with both medikamenten.ich also do not know how I should proceed now …. can not call my doctor as it is weekend. I would be glad about helpful answers.

    Fluoxetine for Depression

first opipramol and fluoxitin. mainly against panic attacks. total impotence, dry mouth, at first aggravating the attacks. – then citalopram. terrible aggravation of depression, extreme dizziness, anxiety creep downright physically cold my back up, muscle twitching in the legs. discontinued by the doctor. replaced by moclobemide, almost no effect, no side effect. After that, I spent half a year in Ireland, where a doctor suggested to try cymbalta. had NO side effect except sleep disturbance, which I had previously sporadically and already very dry mouth with disgusting taste in the mouth. Since then, I also take cymbalta in Germany, I am thrilled. Panickattacken almost zero, no side effects except those described, no orgasm disorders. However, my psychiatrist cymbalta has to prescribe me every second recipe as a private prescription, because thanks to the health reform, it no longer fits into her budget. and THIS is a very blatant side effect, especially since I am unemployed. Depression still present but toned down, hope to find definitive help through behavioral therapy. but my main problem of panic seems to be very well handled by cymbalta. I am excited about the drug!

    Fluoxetine for Depression

I take since the beginning of 2001 Fluctin (at that time still expensive), now generic Fluoxitin from different manufacturers. Fluoxitin works for me against depression, Howling cramps and listlessness and constantly circulating thoughts. Dose 40 mg in the morning. In the beginning, it took a few weeks for the effect to build up. I was totally tired, could not sleep and had to yawn constantly. My sleep rhythm was very confused. Suddenly (as written in other reviews) everything was blown away. Fluoxitin pushes me in the morning. 1 attempt at settling failed, but because I did not go out, but suddenly dropped off. Meanwhile, I feel a few side effects such as permanently blocked nose, anemia, and restlessness in the legs. My mental situation has improved a lot. At the beginning of November 2011 I lowered the dose to 30mg with the agreement of my treating psychiatrist. He even suggested a dose of 20 mg. Unfortunately, I was 30 mg within 1 week worse again. Irritability, headaches, thought disorders – everything is back. Quickly I set the old dose of 40mg again. Worked up again within a few hours. The next reduction will come, but no longer in the 10mg range but only 2.5mg-wise. It works well for me. Nevertheless, I would like to be so stable at some point that I no longer need the medicine. There must be plenty of other things left.

Fluoxetine for Eating disorder; Drive disorders; Depression

Fluoxetine / Prozac: I have taken this drug intermittently for several years, between 0 and 60mg. Against fears and obsessions it helps very well, on the whole it makes me more stable and emotionless, which I do not feel as negative. To test the effect, I have taken up to 60mg, but I was still driveless, if satisfied. At the beginning, I lost my appetite, but that soon disappeared. Overall, it slows down my metabolism (I think), I’m increasing faster. (Compared to other depressants but not bad). Fluoxetine reduces the sexual desire, but at low dose this settles down to some extent. Other side effects during the first two weeks were abdominal pain, headache, hair loss. The good thing about Fluoxetine is the high half-life of the drug, it stays in the body for a long time and it’s not that bad if you forget to take it. Also, it can be easier to slink it. !! This drug is dangerous in connection with alcohol. Alcohol and fluoxetine reinforce each other and so I am euphoric and completely detached by alcohol but also incredibly fast drunk which can change very quickly quite quickly. Also, the initial side effects have again shown very clearly. Too much alcohol means for the next day: anxiety, confusion, Depersonalisierungsgefühle, hair loss etc … Alcohol should not actually drink during treatment, in moderation, but my doctor has granted me, however, this measure with Fluoxetine is very very very low . !! Solvex / Reboxetine: Drive boosting! Although medications work differently for each one of them, I take at most a quarter of my 4mg tablet (and not every day) as it is extremely effective. I am much more structured, able to concentrate better and less hungry. I suddenly manage to keep my apartment clean and tidy; D strangely, I am also strangely better at my reflection (usually having a totally distorted self-perception) and greater sexual desire. Too much of the drug (and that’s already 2mg for me!) And side effects right at the beginning of the treatment: aggression, irritability, confusion, palpitations, pimples, sleep disorders (constant awakening, waking too early …)
