Never again Mirena !! When, after about 4.5 years, I happened to bump into Mirena more or less by chance on the various forums and posts about Mirena, it struck me like scales from my eyes !! I made an appointment directly with my FA and the culprit was drawn just over a week ago. Since then, the following has changed in my life (Thank God very quickly or immediately and hopefully permanently): 1. Constant urination — I had pushed on my two births, thought: great, half incontinent with late 30 — after Pull: OFF !! 2. the feeling of being at least 90 years old, if still alive: WAY !!! 3. Lack of energy, felt burn-out, everything too much, everything exhausting — I had pushed on overwork because of children / work, although I was always aware that my work is actually to create or should be — WAY! ! 4. super-dry skin on the face and on the head: is beautiful to have my soft skin given back … wonderful !! 5. foul-smelling discharge, always having the feeling that I stink and have to take a shower: OFF !! 6. increased hair growth (especially on the chin and on the legs) — I can not judge yet. 7. Aggressiveness, the non-acceptance of physical closeness, often zero in people and sociability (to go to kindergarten alone to pick up my daughter cost me every time a huge overcoming): OFF !! 8. I also always had a funny feeling in the mouth … very strange + disgusting … also feels much better, but I can not yet 100% on the Mirena push … 9. My stomach !! My waist !! I went to FA last summer because I was 100% sure I was pregnant … but I was not. I had almost constantly (at least emotionally) a belly like in the 4./5. Month. — PATH!! 10. Constant diarrhea — not yet resolved, but I also have hope here :-)) 11. Deteriorated vision because of too dry eyes — not yet resolved: – ((Mannoman, I feel like new born and I’m especially mad at me, because I’ve done it without batting an eyelash, I think my side effects appeared after about 2 years, before it was okay It’s all the more appreciated that it makes you happy again after such tiring and bad times when you do not even know what’s going on with you, like many of you, I ran to the doctor because I did too thought I was sick for sure but thank goodness not the case !! I can only say: NEVER AGAIN HAPPY HORMONE FOR ME !!!

I had the third Mirena spiral inserted in June 2010, as it was recommended to me by my doctor so. The onset was bearable, a little stomachache, little spotting. After a few weeks I was physically so bad that I googled my complaints. I came across this forum and I got a light on. So decided to the doctor with the desire to remove the spiral again. With my request, I fell on deaf ears, the Mirena was well tolerated, my complaints came from private stress and my physical work. The doctor talked me into the spiral (cost so much, I would have a bad conscience to you.) But if I really wanted it then I should come back. Okay, I thought, hasty decisions may not be good. By now it has become March 2011 and my various complaints have not improved. I count on what bothers me, what I feel worst first: Constant tiredness and listlessness (every activity is a torment, I have to get myself up to everything), constant exhaustion, almost every day tension or pain in the chest (lately with pain up to under the armpits), mild nausea, loss of libido, often headache, a dripping nose all year round (allergy tests were negative), pain in the groin with pulling up to the legs (heavy legs), numb hands, dry skin. Yesterday I was back at the doctor and I have the Mirena removed, she tried not even to persuade me again. By the way, everywhere you will find in this practice Mirena advertising, In the waiting room various brochures, in the hall, in the treatment room. A rogue of evil thinks …. Now I’m curious how I’m going in the next few weeks, I hope the veil of fatigue and pain is lifting!

In total, 7 years. The insertion is always very painful, the removal can hardly be felt. Shortly after the second insertion my discomfort began. Since I only had spotting, I was surprised about the Suddenly I had severe pain in the breasts, mood swings and extremely dry skin and eyes! My gynecologist did not say that it could all come from the spiral, but told me, at my age (I’m 42 now !! ), hormone fluctuations are quite normal and advised me to take Agnus Castus (chaste tree). That also helped a little against the breast tenderness, but not with the other ailments. I’m so surprised at these reports since I’ve been around for years I just try it with homeopathic remedies. I am now sure that my other ailments, such as constant fatigue, stomach and bowel problems and despite my healthy diet, my weight gain comes from the spiral and I will not let me use any more !!!

Hi, I have read many reviews here and would like to thank you first, through your reports, I realized that all my side effects come from Mirena – I’m 100% sure. So: my 8 months with Mirena began with the fact that I was assured by the FA that his patients have no side effects with the spiral. It gives only very small amounts of hormones, etc. .. In any case, the insertion was hell for me! I do not have a child, so did not know what kind of pain you can have down there! I almost climbed off my chair again – it really hurt like hell. Had I guessed that, I would never have done this to me !!! After the onset, I could not even stand with cramps and circulatory problems. I had to lie down and thought my last hour had struck. I’m still traumatized today. The pain was already gone the next day – no more problems. Then I was happy because and thought it was worth the pain. After two months without problems, it started: breast tenderness, fatigue, acne (never had problems with acne even before the pill), dry eyes that I almost could not open in the morning in pain, dry skin tense, hair loss, greasy hair after 48 hours after washing, … After 8 months it was enough for me and yesterday I let her go – finally. Did not hurt at all – was not felt. Of course I was still afraid of inserting but was not really bad. Today I have already gotten my days and I feel not so tired as usual. In addition, I notice that my eyes are not dry anymore. I would not recommend Mirena to anyone. There are certainly many who tolerate it well, but I will never again torture my body with artificial hormones! I hope my remaining problems get better soon 🙂 Lg Susanne
