    Keppra for Epilepsy

Hello, my daughter (8 years) took Ospolot for a year. Side effects such as hands crunching, lack of concentration, abdominal pain have been constant companions. For about 4 weeks we have switched to the drug Keppra juice. I can not say which of the two medications is better, because side effects such as constant fatigue, sore throat accompany us here.

As already described; no desire for sex and caresses have unfortunately become unwanted side effects as well as digestive problems, sheep disorders; sometimes fatigue and difficulty concentrating. The seizures are a side effect of the surgery, have been reduced to a few in the first 2 years after the operation, and it is estimated that I can do without the medication in 3 – 4 years. TOPAMAX 50 has also been tested recently, after two weeks of use it has severe depression, blurred vision, indigestion, severe motor difficulties, speech problems, persistent tingling in hands and feet, orientation problems. But was immediately put back on Keppra.

I will consult my supervising neurologist about an intake reduction. Without Keppra, I felt better overall.
