Promethazine for Sleep disorders
I have prescribed this medication for sleep disorders and anxiety. The drug was easy to dose as I got it in drop form. However, I only tolerated it badly (despite the low dosage of about 20mg) because I got restless legs and became restless, so I could not fall asleep. On the second evening self-destructive thoughts were added, which I found difficult to distance myself from. At the same time mood depressions surfaced, which I had not had in this form for some time. I dropped it off for my own safety.
Side effects: Restless legs syndrome; Unrest
I got Atosil (promethazine) as drops for oral use in sleep disorders and for sedation. About 25-40 minutes after taking the dose, I noticed an uncomfortable feeling in my legs. This condition caused me to have to constantly move my legs. The drug released symptoms of restless legs syndrome. In higher dosages, I had to tense and relax my whole body including facial muscles. My girlfriend said I had seizures all night. I do not remember myself. The next morning I was totally beside the track and ran around a robot. For me, promethazine is extremely paradoxical.
