    Mirena for Edema; Acne; Hurt

Hello, have the Mirena now for a quarter of a year, at the beginning, side effects were rather strong (pimples, abdominal pain, swelling of the feet), as me also had predicted the doctor. Since then, the positives are more prevalent: I took the pill for 10 years and would never do it again. Had with the pill massive mood swings, to the point of depression, no desire for sex and otherwise only problems, the only positive was the lower hair growth in the pubic area and the slightly better skin – where the pimples sprouted around the days around as mine best puberty years. With the Mirena I now have not only complete rest from the daily hormone swallowing and a much lower hormone concentration in the body, but also found my old lust for sex again. My hair and nails have become strong and do not break anymore and my wallet says thanks! Buy no more tampons, no more pill, the devouring each year umummen and the psychiatrist I could also unsubscribe. Of course, I have also discovered negative sides of the Mirena, such. the pimples or hair growth on the face. But unlike depression, these problems with good cleansing products and a little wax or sugering can be handled easily and let’s be honest: I did not have stomach ache before the pill during my days too tight. On average: Much better than the pill and much less debilitating and safer than other birth control methods.

    Side effects: Stomach pain; Pimple

Hello, I’m a real stone from the heart, after I read here from the many testimonials and mine are so very similar! Pro for Mirena is the lack of menstruation and the elimination of troublesome pill intake. Unfortunately, the list of the Contra is much longer. Massive hair loss, fast-drying hair, pimples, irritability, restlessness, tachycardia, digestive problems and the worst of all the enormous weight gain (18kg). My breasts are swollen from 70c to 85d and always with tense pains like milk after breastfeeding. But not only the breasts are like the end of the pregnancy and my stomach now looks like I’m 9 months pregnant. I eat very healthy, do sports but the weight is not significantly reduce. My baby bump is stuck. In the summer I was often asked when it was so far (birth). That made me so insecure that I let myself be tested for a brotherhood. My friend has since left me he was tired of my eternal irritation. Then I must mention here that I am only tired, which I attributed to my sleep disorders, for which I could find no sustainable explanation. I’ve always had the suspicion that it might be related to the spiral, but all the physicians I interviewed said it was always negative. On the contrary, I always heard the opposite, the spiral has a positive effect on the skin, hair and the aging process of a woman. On Friday I have the appointment and I will free myself from Mirena lasting! I wish I had found this site here rather nice, then I would have spared a lot of suffering. I was able to move my new partner to a vasectomy in August. Now only sperm light is available and I can finally get rid of this monster! Never again!

Mirena for Sleep disorders; Mood swings; Libido disorders; Acne; Cycle disorder; A headache; Pain (acute)

I am shocked and do not even know where to start writing … I had Mirena put on after the birth of our third child, because I put special emphasis on the safety of contraception 🙂 headaches and bleeding over half a year, it started. Then one after the other came: bad mood, mood swings, Ausraster where I stand partially off and wonder about myself. I almost always have abdominal pain and the libido is not only zero, but really moves in the minus area! Then it went parallel with pimples in the face (is getting worse !!!) And sleep problems continue. Now night sweats were added. And so hard that I have to change at night. The spiral has been in it for only a year, but seen a year too long, because I had no fun in life at the time. Next week the thing will come out irrevocably !!!

Hello, I got my first hormonal spiral in 2005. Have a high risk of thrombosis and the spiral is the only contraceptive I may use. That was great back then, no menstruation at once, no pain, great contracts. In 2010 I had to remove them, because the 5 years were over. Then I took a break for a year and got a new one in January 2011, but this time everything was different. Huge pain during and after use. Regular pain like I’ve never had in my life, I’ve got my menstruation until almost June 2011, but stronger than before. Then one after another happened. First, I got pimples (mostly on the chin) 2 months after I had not gotten them during my puberty, followed by a huge abscess in the groin, which tied me to the bed for a week and, finally, the steadily increasing weight although I have not changed my eating habits and am also day out on my feet during my work day. So this was or is my story, does anyone have any suggestions, ideas or advice? I would be very happy Anna

I would strongly advise against the Mirena Hormone Spiral! The side effects are enormous! Moreover, they were concealed by my gynecologist, I did not get a leaflet. Also, it is not true that the hormone spiral only acts locally. The uterus is extremely well supplied with blood, the hormones are distributed throughout the body and try an enormous chaos. The common feature was that the side effects gradually crept in and – because I knew nothing about side effects – could not be associated with the Mirena. I had the first Mirena set in 2000. The insertion was horror-painful (no birth yet) and the pain lasted at least a week and I thought to get them out again immediately, but at least it had cost 300 marks. Then the pain subsided and the bleeding also subsided over time. It all seemed great and yet – I am clear today – the first side effects already arose after some time: – pigmentation on the face (brown spots) – morning sickness – swindle – whiskers on the chin 2006 Then it was time for the next Mirena , Since the threads were not findable and a “rum punch” of a FA was a horror trip and I almost collapsed, the change had to be made under general anesthesia. Everything went well, pain soon subsided. About 1 ½ years later we started: – Uncontrollable weight gain (“lifebuoy”, belly swelling, how pregnant) of altogether 11 kg in 3 years !!! I had always been slim and slim and this weight gain weighed heavily, especially because I could not do anything about it – water retention in the legs, venous problems – Increased cellulite – Libido loss (almost zero) – eye deterioration, printed blurred, veils in front of the lenses, sudden and vehemently occurring presbyopia (since I always had great eyes and never glasses, this experience was also a horror for me) – food intolerances – cold and heat sensitivity – digestive problems – hard lymph nodes under the armpits and in the groin – orange stinking discharge – Reinforced dark hair on the lower legs – sciatica, lumbago – migraine – neck tension – evening leg cramps – rheumatism-like discomfort in the left shoulder – painful itchy pimples on the neck and chin area In addition, I developed some mental problems, but I mainly a p attributed to traumatic stress disorder (sexual violence experiences in childhood): – panic attacks – tightness and choking on the neck – listlessness, listlessness, depression

negative side effects: – after use heavy bleeding about 2 weeks, later for half a year lubricating bleeding – beginning after about 3 weeks after onset blemishes on the stomach, strong itchy big pimples – disappeared after a few weeks – sometimes itching all over – Pain in the chest – made me transfer to mammography, because I thought I have something serious – severe anxiety, bad dreams – to the point of dread – panic attacks – terrible moodiness – purulent strange taste in the mouth, which came and went – severe pain in the right Area after about 1 year steadily getting worse – especially around the entry point – in urine sometimes severe pain, thought constantly I had a urinary tract infection – paralysis especially on the right side – got migraine – became much worse during Mirena time – less pleasure positive side effects : – Menstrual bleeding was very mild AFTER REMOVAL the Mirena: – immediate improvement of the right-sided pain – it turned out that the thread had wrapped somewhere – no more anxiety, no panic – in a better mood – all negative side effects were gone sooner or later I think that every woman this spiral different good or bad tolerates … I did not tolerate it unfortunately although I saw the type of contraception for very practical, but the side effects were then too much laborious. I was constantly afraid that these apparitions would remain.

I have the Mirena only since 4 weeks but I hope that I get some encouragement here that everything is better !!! The insertion I did not feel as bad, abdominal pain, I had only the first two days. My skin became very impure about 4-5 days after the onset and I got some pimples on my face and I had severe hair loss. Headaches are almost on the agenda and I’m irritated. Sexual aversion and constant spotting are very troubling. But I do not want to give up after all the fun has cost 320 €. I think that the body must first get used to the hormone change and hope for speedy recovery.

Mirena for Fatigue; Hair loss; Libido disorders; Acne; Depression; Overweight; Pain (menstruation)

I have the Mirena use at the age of 20, after I knew that I would not want children for the next 5 years and I did not want to take the pill because of more frequent gastrointestinal complaints for safety reasons. After praising my FA on the Mirena, I decided to do so. Since I was not 21 years old, even the KK has paid. Everything great. The insertion did not hurt as expected and I was satisfied first, because I no longer had to worry about the prevention. In the first six months I had almost abdominal pains and mood swings. At that time my FA told me that I would have to climb a mountain for half a year now and then enjoy the view for 4.5 years. All right, I thought. Wait and swallow painkillers! After half a year, I felt better for the time being. About half a year. No bleeding, no side effects, everything ok. Then, a year ago, it began with extreme pus ticks on the entire back and greasy hair. All of a sudden, I gained almost 10 kg. My mood was at zero. Was easily irritable and cried constantly. In the last half year to today I have always severe pelvic pain, since recently repeatedly spotting, absolute loss of libido and in the last six months 4 bladder infections, 2 fungal infections and even a very painful pyelonephritis and constantly caught cold for a year .. That’s why I’m in the Internet on the search and found this page on which my assumption is confirmed: The Mirena must go! Will now after 2 years but make an appointment with the gynecologist and let them pass me. Have already discussed with my partner, that we probably want to try it with the persona computer. Finally, a friend of mine has successfully prevented it and does not burden my body with hormones. By the way, I can confirm that gynecologists on the ear side effects of the Mirena are absolutely deaf and have no idea. I wish all of you a speedy recovery and hope that the posts here are as helpful to many as mine.
