    Sumatriptan for Migraine

Effect is great the side effects are deadly! For years I have suffered from severe migraine headaches. That’s why my family doctor Sumatriptan prescribed 100mg! They work within 30 min and the pains are gone too, unfortunately, then start the side effects. I became so dizzy after taking it that I could not go to the bathroom alone. About 15 minutes later, I had the feeling that you are lacing my throat, then my heart was racing and I had a maddening push on my chest! I thought my last hour had struck. Unfortunately, these are some of the typical side effects of this drug!

    Sumatriptan for Migraine

I always take relpax 40 mg with miräne. For the purpose of the current high cost I have tried another triptan. sumatriptan. that was absolutely negative. a) did not help, the pain did not really go away. b) I was absolutely trembling, dizzy, whatever you want to call that. I had total heat flashes and heart racing. After 4 hours I took my relpax and 2 hours later everything was nice! It’s great that the health reform and the health insurance companies want to save money at the expense of their patients. either you pay or you just live with the pain and the side effects.

    Sumatriptan for Migraine

I took the drug at the first signs of migraine. After about a quarter of an hour, the pain was gone. After half an hour for the first time, tightness and pain in the throat occurred. In addition, drowsiness and drowsiness, have only sounded. Driving a car or working would not have been possible anymore. In the night, after about 5 hours, palpitations, sweats, chest pain, nausea, inner agitation, dizziness, numbness and pain in the left arm occurred. My blood pressure was 170/110 mmHg and my heart rate was 168. I was about to call the ambulance. The morning after, my blood pressure was still around 130/100 mmHg. I am a nurse by profession and know me accordingly, but I really did not find these side effects funny. Although this drug has helped with the migraine pain, I would never take it again. Especially not after I read the leaflet. Heart attack, stroke … a miracle that this drug is even allowed!

    Sumatriptan for Migraine

Although I have only had migraines for 2 years, I have been prescribed the medication for the first time since about a year after I got migraine. 2 tablets of 50 g and two of 100 g, first try it. I tolerate the 50g quite well. Effect usually occurs in half an hour, then always get a little tired after taking. The first time I took the medicine and the 100 g, I had bad side effects, tachycardia, body aches, chest pain. My colleague thought I would kill her because I did not react to her anymore. Meanwhile, I know that I have to definitely eat something and drink before. Even if it is difficult, especially if a wg. the migraine is bad. But honestly I am not always enthusiastic when I have to take the pills, especially since the migraine is sometimes over three days and I do not always want to take a tablet, for fear of getting a headache. Besides, I do not know if I’m going to have other problems in the longer term (eg stomach problems). I have already tried to take magnesium daily, have received acupuncture, do some exercise (yoga, cycling). Unfortunately, this has not helped yet. Was now still at the naturopath and now go to the gynecologist (the pill). I hope it improves soon, as it is getting worse (seizures more often and longer, side effects: thirst, nausea, dizziness, fatigue, irritability, speech disorders, sensitivity to light and noise). Because what my neurologist advised me, I do not want in any case, namely, namely, the dose of sumatriptan can indeed increase even more and if they do not help, we just try others.

    Sumatriptan for Migraine

Extreme side effects as early as 20 minutes after ingestion: Tingling sensation and numbness all over the body, Heavily perfused face and very strong numbness of the skin on the face. The heart is racing, the entire left half of the body feels like it’s made of lead. Later, the feeling changes from left to right. Anxiety! Fortunately, the side effects were over after about 1 hour, but I will not take this drug again!
