Prednisolone for Difficulty in breathing; Skin rash; Allergy

I suffer for years under a year-old allergy but in the summer is particularly bad and I’m about to suffocate. Antihistamines (eg Cetrizine, Aerius, Telfast, Loratadin, ..) brought nothing except fatigue, mast cell stabilizers brought nothing, natural remedies (like black cumin, …), even the Volon A syringe (cortisone) brought little improvement. The only thing that helped was Prednisolone Tabs (20mg) .1-2 tabs daily. Side effects: increased appetite occasional palpitations dizziness headache

    Prednisolone for Disc prolapse

Side effects (most likely from prednisolone): Sleep disorders, tachycardia (100 heartbeat instead of 60), slightly elevated blood pressure Cervical intervertebral artery C6 / C7 caused extremely severe irritation and injury to the C8 arm nerve. The symptoms were severe pain, blue on drooping, early swollen, disturbed fine motor skills, allodynia on the edge of the hand. After taking prednisolone and metamizol, the pain became weaker, with appropriate occupational therapy, the fine motor skills restored. All in all, you take the side effects to be able to fully move the arm again. Tachycardia and Schlafstörugnen are quite uncomfortable.

    Prednisolone for Optic nerve inflammation

My retrobulb neuritis started on Nov 14, and so far it is not completely gone. I first got 100 mags of prednisolone a day, then I would be pumped full of 1000mg on 3days at the hospital. You dismissed me with the words you do not need cortisone, which then immediately made negative, eyesight worse again and the side effects hammer: restlessness, tachycardia, rash, soreness, sweating, and distorted perception, oh and of course very, very heavy legs .A conclusive finding of the drawn nerve water is still outstanding, MRI Uunauffällig.Im February I have to go back to the KH, again all the investigations. But think there is nothing, only I would like to finally be able to see properly again!

Side effects: Sweat; Skin rash; Unrest; Palpitations

    Prednisolone for Thrombocytopenia

I’ve been on Prednisolone for almost a year. Dosage at the moment 5mg (starting with 100mg). The decisive point is thrombocytopenia. My high-dose experience: sleep disorder, restlessness, rapid heartbeat, cold sweating, steroid acne, typical moon face, mood swings with depression, and those annoying cravings. Since about 20mg: formation of glaucoma (glaucoma) and increase in intraocular pressure about one hour after taking the drug. Pain in the foot, knee, hip, shoulder and finger joints (gradually … beginning with the knees). Increased formation of darkening (acne) about 3cm tall. With 5mg: cravings, sleep disturbance, restlessness and depression, as well as pain in the joints continues to exist. There was also a very peculiar and very penetrating smell in the Axelhölen … not two minutes after washing, the smell was back. (presumably it is in connection with L-thyroxine 50mg). It is also an uncontrollable change between being awake and being extremely tired again. Think this is due to the shut down immune system. As far as my experience with the drug.

    Prednisolone for Skin rash

First 4 days 75mg, 4 days 50mg, 4 days 25mg At first I tolerated it quite well, but then came unbearable tachycardia, increased heart rate too. Even after reducing to 25 mg, my heart rate is constantly there. Pulse I feel all over. ..just awful. Am constantly nervous, inner restlessness, tremble, hot flashes and then again chills …. I prefer to live with the rash than to take this medis again. I just hope that this heart rate quickly ceases, that makes you crazy!

    Prednisolone for Sinusitis

Due to a therapy-resistant sinusitis: Day 1: 4x 0,50mg Day 2: 2x 0,75mg Day 3: 2x 0,50mg Day 4: 2x 0,25mg After the first use strong tachycardia, high blood pressure, hot flashes in the face. Although the last dose of the first DAY was at 3:00 pm, the racing heartbeat (throbbing pulse in the throat, temples) continued until the next day. As a result, I have renounced further income.

    Prednisolone for Allergy

Because of my hay fever, I had been given cortisone in the hospital for a possible wave of my neck after accidentally eating walnut fragments. After a 2 incident within a week, my doctor prescribed prednisolone to regulate my body down again. On the days after taking it (starting at 60mg), I had paired extreme inner restlessness with hyperactivity. Likewise, I felt pressure on the throat (lump) and chest, had discomfort when swallowing and in the morning I was ill in combination with nausea. After 6 days and medical consultation, I broke off the decay then. The symptoms on the first day were already much lower.

    Side effects: Unrest; Palpitations

I was prescribed against Hoersturz in the low frequency range by the ENT. Already after 3 days I got tachycardia, was constantly in panic, massive sleep disturbances, permanent restlessness, persistent, shaky, feeble-feeling. I stopped therapy myself. At my instigation the blood pressure was measured: high blood pressure. Never have I had such bad side effects either. Rate urgently. The side effects do not outweigh the benefit for me. Now I have to see how I get this blood pressure under control.

I started in the first week with 20mg and then every week lowered by 2.5mg down to 5mg. For the first two weeks I was still fine. Often had red cheeks and about an hour after taking mild pain in the kidney area. But from the third week it went downhill continuously … I got more pimples and generally had an exciting, thin skin. There were also headaches, only light but persistent. In addition, high blood pressure, palpitations, sweating, nervousness, blurred vision, water retention, weakness, difficulty concentrating, cravings …. The list is long. For short-term use, it is a good thing, but with prolonged use, I would weigh … Only for me, if it is not otherwise unbearable.

When I was admitted with my inflammation in the university hospital, I got the cortisone first on the vein, so it works faster, that went on for 5 days. Was then discharged and had to take tablets 100mg at the beginning and then in 10 he / per steps downwards. It hit well and the inflammation is gone. Am now at 70 mg and the side effects are annoying. My blood pressure fluctuates constantly from heart racing not to mention, sleep disturbances and at night I wake up totally sweaty. Water retention on stomach and face. Luckily, I have no stomach problems because I get my own tablets for protection. I feel uncomfortable in my own body since taking it and am constantly depressed or irritated. Now and then headaches occur 1 hour after the intake, which are not strong, but it disturbs the concentration. My blood values are up to the leukocytes (with me 19 – normal value is to 10) ok. On top of that, I usually feel very powerless.

    Prednisolone for Dizziness

After the shock therapy with 3 applications, therapy was switched to tablet form. Initially with 90mg in the morning, then spread to the day, then dose down to 80mg and now to 60mg descending by 2mg less a day. At first I was fine, but after about a week, it started with euphoria, turning up, racing heart. In contrast, there are now drugs that are designed to keep the adrenaline under control. This was accompanied by dizziness that does not even go away when you turn your head, balance problems when walking. Fast walking is no longer possible. I get pimples / acne on my back, on my face, on the tip of my tongue and on my neck. My skin, especially on the hands, looks dry, white and wrinkled, like someone older. I’m only 42. I’m fat, constantly hungry, water retention under the eyes, get a big face and can only tilt my head back with difficulty (bull’s neck). Problems with climbing stairs. I have the feeling of being powerless. For some time furry taste in the mouth. Somehow everything tastes bland and carbonated, for example in Cola triggers a burning on the tongue. I have the impression that the hair grows slower and the nails softer. From time to time I have blurred vision, so blurred, sometimes left right times. Ophthalmologist examined, all i.O., probably comes from this devil stuff. I was declared unfit for driving, very good, then I can kill myself right away, where I’m not far away. Oh yes and I think I have a funny smell on me or I smell too bad. I just want to get rid of that stuff. That’s the worst thing I’ve ever come across drug and about which I was never enlightened by anyone.

Tachycardia, complete insomnia, anxiety, nightmares, panic states, sweating, thoughts of suicide, depressive mood, stomach ache, back pain, pimples, itching. After 2 weeks I slowly skipped the 7 week therapy because the side effects were so extreme. Never again would I take this medicine !!! I still have stomach problems 3 weeks after the last tablet!
