Persistent after stopping, also complaints that did not exist before taking (constant lurching, muscle twitching, high blood pressure, insomnia, head always dull and oppressive, I feel like half dead) who were not there before.Mute permanent damage to the nervous system. Doxepin for Depression

Hello, dear sufferer I have taken the drug in tablet form Doxepin for a long time, at the beginning it had caused a tremendous improvement in my mental state. I took 50 mg half an hour before going to bed, could sleep well, also did not always have the bad feelings and thoughts! But what struck me was my enormous weight gain and my deteriorated vision. Also circulatory problems and tachycardia, as well as dizziness I could watch with me. I do not necessarily want to advise against this drug, but it would be more helpful to have a conversation with a trained psychologist and to work out a balanced daily routine with stress and rest periods. But that costs … I wish you all a speedy recovery!

    Doxepin for Depression

Weight gain I have got Doxepin for anxiety and restlessness with sleep disorders. The effect was mediocre for me at a dosage of 150 mg per day. The worst side effect for me was the enormous weight gain. 30kg! (mindful of the diet) By gaining weight, I’ve just become more depressed. About 4 months ago then get Trevilor, positive side effect for me, easier weight loss because of loss of appetite. But also negative NW, such as blurred vision, headache, trembling legs, feelings of unreality, high pulse, hair loss. I’m just getting in with settling, which are bad. Lightning in the head, dizziness, nausea, severe headache. Descent at Trevilor Want advice if you want to sell Trevilor. I went through hell! After initial attempts to pull Trevilor off, I had terrible flashes in my head. I could barely move and was unable to do anything. Several times attempt started, after three days I could not stand it, again taken Trevilor. I stopped very, very slowly. After 75mg, first taken the lowest dose (34.7mg) for 2 weeks, then halved again for 3 weeks. Then one day after another for 2 weeks. and then stopped. There were still these surges and lightning in the head, but that was only light and it took only 5 days, then it was over. Done! I also had these symptoms when I discontinued citalopram, but it was not that bad and lasted only 5 days. I wish you all the best! Poni

    Doxepin for Pain (chronic)

I got it 2 weeks as an infusion (25 / 50mg). The strongest side effect was definitely the tiredness !! … I slept deep and tight shortly after the infusion for up to four hours.Much dreamed, dry mouth, circulatory disorder and heart racing or the feeling as if the heart beating irregularly or a jump !? At times, I had the feeling that I was completely beside me. Easy disoriented. Since 6 days I take now the tablets. (75mg). I had recommended in the morning half (25mg) and in the evening a whole (50mg). But I did not get along well. Was very tired in the morning and barely got high. When I was a bit awake, I had to take half the tablet again and then became tired again, cold hands and feet, circulation. Take half now in the early afternoon … still get up in the morning, but when I’m awake, it works. The tablet in the evening at the beginning after 1 hour completely undressed … extremely tired, extremely restless legs and a disgusting dry mouth. That has settled after 3-4 days but then 🙂 Have so far, unfortunately, already gained 3 kilos … just have constantly animal appetite.Esse much more than normal. Meanwhile, the side effects are really only very low … the constant hunger is annoying and the fact that the pain does not change at all and my mental state is not really better is my biggest problem. Monday are 3 weeks around … I really hope that then POSITIVE things get going 😉

    Doxepin for Depression

After 4 years of taking Citalopram, I wanted to switch to Solvex, because I was suffering from very sexual discomfort when taking Citalopram! Solvex caused me: Increased irritability, dizziness, extreme freezing and sweating or freezing and sweating at the same time, goose bumps, palpitations, insomnia, sudden bursting into tears, constant tingling in the legs and the most unpleasant for me and others was my AGGRESSIVITY! Should now in consultation with my neurologist 2 days break and then take again Citalopram!

    Doxepin for Depression

Doxepin made quite a lot of circulatory problems at the beginning of taking (slowly dosing up to 100 mg), (dizziness when standing upright), tachycardia, shaking of the hands at times. Dulcimer vision in the distance, constipation, strong weight gain (10 kg), forgetfulness, as well as overhang of the dampening effect the next morning were side effects which remained even after the dosing. Cipralex (20 mg) relatively well tolerated, but also responsible for the weight gain. Furthermore, increased sweating and hair loss occurred. Lamotrigine (200mg) I also tolerate well, but had caused quite a stir during the dosing. This is completely gone. In summary, this combination of drugs, my depression and the symptoms of my anxiety disease are almost completely gone, for about 6 months, I now reduce the doxepin, which is only possible with me in very small steps.

    Doxepin for Depression

Although the dose was only 10mg in the evening, there were many unwanted effects. Very sedating for the first few days (1.5-2 hours after ingestion). Tachycardia, dizziness and balance problems, mild confusion, strong appetite increase, nightmares, inflammatory sensation in the skin (similar to a sunburn), severe dry mouth and nasal mucosa. Some side effects have subsided after the first few days. However, the intake was not more pleasant. The in my case wanted, sleep inducing side effect also disappeared already after 6 days. In the rest of the intake, an unbearable inner turmoil and inner dryness increased with concomitantly increasing external listlessness and slackness. There were also very strong mood swings. In addition, I felt absent, standing next to myself. The absent impression and the zombie movements were also observed by outsiders. After weaning / fast weaning, all side effects have completely resolved within 2-3 days of the last weaning dose.
