    Paroxetine for Depression

Tiredness, lack of concentration, orgasm disorders, weight loss or loss of appetite In the beginning I was very hesitant to take this medicine, the leaflet is very scary. Now I am very glad that I have chosen it, because it helps well and I just accept the side effect.

    Paroxetine for Social phobia; Depression

In hindsight, the effect was actually not as bad as I felt while taking it. I was heavily dazed, everything that happened around me was secondary, I was just happy about the silence, the thoughts gone away and the feelings no longer perceptible. This scared me a little while taking it and made me a lot harder in my everyday life. Duration of administration: 5 weeks Dosage: 1-0-0 (40mg) Side effects: Insomnia, tachycardia, nosebleeds and the unique, strange feeling of not being able to reach orgasm. I could scrape off as I wanted. : D

Paroxetine for Fatigue; Drive disorders; Social phobia; Depression

For some time now I take against my anxious (self-confusing) -disabling personality disorder (social phobia) Paroxetine 20 mg (from 1A-Pharma or Paroxate of Hexal, which come from the same press in Holzhausen, according to the pharmacist). The first effect was that all at once (after years) I felt like switching on the CD player again and dancing to the music. The mood was better, but problems were pushed aside rather than having the drive to solve them. As a first side effect, I noticed some inner unrest that made it hard for me to sit down and do more complicated tasks or just read something. On the advice of my girlfriend, I then got me in the pharmacy Reactine duo (antiallergic with pseudephedrine) and then had the need and no problems with simpler everyday tasks such as clean up and wash away (which I always had to force myself, although it goes fast) , I take the pseudephedrine only occasionally to avoid an addiction (smoking bothers me enough) and an increase in my already slightly raised blood pressure. My sleep has not improved. In addition, there was an unpleasant, cramp-like tingling sensation in the right leg, which does not really hurt, but is mean. I got to know the most unpleasant side effect when I visited my girlfriend (long distance relationship): my desire for sex was reduced, which is not really bad in itself, especially since I had a normal erection, but in the end I did not even notice that I had a ejaculation: The muscle contractions were missing, and my girlfriend felt just a leak, as if I were leaking. When petting we then realized that what is out there, is actually sperm, but also much less than normal.

I had massive panic attacks for more than two years, plus the fear of eating and drinking in company. With the use of paroxetine and a therapist change my condition improved enormously, so that I was able to extend my radius again very much and today I have fun eating out and had no panic attack for a long time. For a long time I did not want to take any pills, I wanted to do it on my own and I was afraid of the side effects. But I’m very glad that I did it then, I started sneaking in with 5mg, then up to 20mg. Side effects included fatigue, interesting dreams and the loss of orgasmic capacity. But I have gained a lot of quality of life! Now I’m just sneaking away, always 5mg less and I’m fine with it. Bit tired, a bit nauseous and sometimes a bit dizzy, but everything under control. I can absolutely recommend the drug, in addition to a therapy!

    Paroxetine for Anxiety disorders

Hello everybody, I am taking Paroxetine for about 4 months now, initially 10 mg, one week later 20 mg and another 30 mg one month later. Cause of taking is a total collapse with panic attacks without end. At that time, it went so far that even getting up without Valium in the morning was not feasible. Immediately I went to the psychiatric emergency room in Merheim and they helped me a lot. At least I feel in good hands and that’s worth a lot in such a case. The drug has helped me very well after some time and I’m already back down to 20 mg. I no longer have panic or anxiety attacks and can work, go out, have fun and everything else that goes with it. The 20 mg I will now continue for two to three months, then down to 10 mg and then let it crawl out very slowly. Among the side effects with me: – regularly strong feeling of weakness, where I would like to just collapse – strong sweating, strangely much stronger under the right armpit – first as good as no libido and also with the orgasm is then such an art in itself. That has then re-regulated, but since I have reduced the dose, the libido is back as well as gone – slight weight gain during the 20 mg, at 30 mg, however, another 4 kg within a month, that must definitely down again … 😉 – during the 30 mg here and there times an inexplicable bruise – drowsiness. As soon as I am calm, I could sleep hour after hour-occasionally a slight tremor, but in absolutely negligible intensity. And what else is to mention: When I went down from 30 mg to 20 mg two weeks ago, I have first Weaning symptoms noted: – gratuitous anxiety within the first two hours after ingestion – nightmares par excellence. But whatever? Then at least something is going on while you sleep. 🙂 – Heavy night sweat, I guess, that is related to the nightmares – often times shaky knees, especially in situations where you obviously can not use it. – again no libido These withdrawal symptoms went but after three to four days past (except for the still missing libido). I’m still curious how it will be if I put it off in a few months completely. Greetings and above all: Cheer up! Torsten

Paroxetine has worked well against the depressive episode even with minimal dosing. Unfortunately, it has reinforced the manic phases. It disinhibits too much and changes the personality to do things that are atypical of one’s personality. In addition, a weight gain occurs and there are strong orgasmic disorders. The absolute worst thing about this drug is the withdrawal symptoms. Already in some forums I have found the hint that the withdrawal is comparable to a cocaine withdrawal. I can confirm that too, even though I swapped it very, very slowly. The withdrawal is not mentioned in this form in the package insert. He is completely downplayed, that’s a scandal. Beware of this drug. Hardly anyone succeeds in ever putting it down. I fought the withdrawal symptoms for four months, with the surges in the brain that you feel were the most harmless weaning. NEVER AGAIN!!!
