    Sumatriptan for Migraine

Unfortunately, I feel the effect of this drug, as much too weak, in Comp. Iboprophen 800. Also, the duration to an effect occurs (for me an hour !!) is much too long. For the treatment of migraine attacks, it is almost useless for me, especially because it just takes too long! About the side effects, I am always slightly dizzy and violently bad. After taking it, I avoid things that I need to focus on because I do not think I could.

    Sumatriptan for Migraine

I was prescribed clarithromycin per mc on Monday because of my bronchitis and sinusitis. the first two days 2 times 2 tablets in the morning and in the evening.Bis on nausea and headache everything ok. this morning the third day to get migraine. Then I took a sumatriptan first. also worked very fast and was painless. only a short time later I got abdominal cramps with sweats and dizziness. Then the cramps migrated up into the upper abdomen. Then in the entire abdomen. Until now no clarithromycin was taken and I will not take it anymore. because the sumatriptan do not cause such violent complaints.

    Sumatriptan for Migraine

I have been suffering from migraine for 35 years and I do not know any other approved medication which is so effective against migraines. But unfortunately for the negative, because about half an hour after taking me is extremely bad and I get a slight panic and palpitations. After 1-1.5 hours I feel fine and the side effects are gone.

    Sumatriptan for Migraine

I took the drug at the first signs of migraine. After about a quarter of an hour, the pain was gone. After half an hour for the first time, tightness and pain in the throat occurred. In addition, drowsiness and drowsiness, have only sounded. Driving a car or working would not have been possible anymore. In the night, after about 5 hours, palpitations, sweats, chest pain, nausea, inner agitation, dizziness, numbness and pain in the left arm occurred. My blood pressure was 170/110 mmHg and my heart rate was 168. I was about to call the ambulance. The morning after, my blood pressure was still around 130/100 mmHg. I am a nurse by profession and know me accordingly, but I really did not find these side effects funny. Although this drug has helped with the migraine pain, I would never take it again. Especially not after I read the leaflet. Heart attack, stroke … a miracle that this drug is even allowed!

I have been suffering from migraines all my life. Although taking a beta-blocker for several years, but Sumatriptan was after 40 years, the miracle cure. Before, nothing helped – aspirin, paracetamol, iboprofen, ergolonaride … the whole program. If the migraine strikes me then I take half a tablet (which is sufficient in 90% of the cases) or the other half if necessary afterwards. Unfortunately, I struggle after taking about 1-2 hours under severe nausea which then sets again. After a whole pill I have muscle pain in the neck and arms sometimes in the legs, so I’m glad if half a tablet is enough.

    Sumatriptan for Migraine

Take Sumatriptan for years (migraine for 32 years) and it’s the best remedy I’ve got so far. Had to change constantly before, because habituation occurred. It is best to take the tablet with liquid at the very first sign. Then the side effects such as dizziness, poor concentration, mild nausea, muscle pain are not so strong. The effect usually starts after 15-20 minutes and lasts for a relatively long time. One side effect, which I have not read here, is the following: the skin is very sensitive in the next few hours and even lukewarm water is perceived as boiling hot. But all this is more bearable than the terrible headache. As long as Sumatriptan helps me, I will not change. One more tip: Foot reflexology massage helps – even to relax!

    Sumatriptan for Migraine

The drug did not help at all. 15min.on taking, however, any side effects have occurred. I’ve got feelings of fainting, tingling, cold feet and hands, as well as difficulty breathing, tightness around the heart, sweating, dizziness, heat in the head and face, nausea, vomiting. Almost cardiovascular failure or collapse suffered. The next day and two consecutive days, I had swelling, had to go to the toilet 10 times a night, get kidney pain. After 1 week, I found that my monthly cycle was messed up Bleeding and for the second time this month my days! This was really a very bad experience. I will never take this drug in life and advise anyone who has not tried it yet. This can be very dangerous for sensitive people.

    Sumatriptan for Migraine

Have previously Almogran taken the were great. Since the cashiers have set the additional payment to over 60 €, I had to change, that was just too expensive for me. Now I take for a long time Sumatriptan, which takes a long time to work (1hours ..) or shows no effect. For a week now I have no relief after taking the pain and collapse the complete cycle. Nausea, vomiting all day, dizziness … and can not do anything about it, no matter how much I take for dizziness or nausea. I have to wait and it can take hours. Can not eat anything and hardly drink anything. I have to change now. (

    Sumatriptan for A headache; Migraine

First, the drug did not work. So I assume that the family doctor has misdiagnosed. Second, the side effects are still there after the 5th hour of intake and I have to eat tea and salt bars because I can not keep anything else inside me. I would not recommend the drug in my place. Maybe someone can tell me from when the side effects to let me would be very helpful.

    Sumatriptan for Migraine

I take Sumatriptan once a month when I get my rule then I always have migraines before or after, thanks to Sumatriptan I have that far under control. I also have a side effect, some nausea and tingling, when I get into the tub, it burns something on the skin as if you have a sunburn (but goes away as soon as you get out of the tub). When taking this drug, you should lie down for about 1 hour, the pain is totally gone after 15 minutes. As an alternative, very good Dolotriptan, which is available without a prescription, cost 9,97 € for 2 tablets.

    Sumatriptan for Cluster headache; Migraine

I (w, 22) have these really strong attacks for about 3 years, ie pain only around the eye and right side of the face. Sumatriptan got 100mg for the first time and it helped pretty well at first without any side effects. However, at that time I additionally got ASA acute / 500 i.v and was pain free for 1 year. In the following year, I had such attacks again but could be well restrained with Sumatriptan. This year I have 10 days of pain and suddenly I have experienced some side effects such as drowsiness, fatigue and nausea, so my day was over. Therefore, I switched to Rizatriptan Orodispersible 10mg or Naratriptan 2.5mg (over-the-counter), as I no longer feel cut off. The effect occurs in my opinion in the latter two earlier than Sumatriptan after only about 30 minutes show effect. I also got Perfalgan + Caffeine i.v this time. However, I advise to ASS i.v harm does not do it except those who are not allowed to take blood thinners and it helps in addition and the tremendous i.v therefore, as it acts faster than oral.
