    Strattera for Adh syndrome

My son 6 years got Strattera 9mg first and after 3 weeks we increased to 18mg. First he complained of nausea and abdominal pain. Then we gave the capsules in the evening, where he could sleep wonderfully. The last 2 weeks of the 18mg dose were catastrophic. He was enormously mood swaying, sometimes aggressive and constantly had anxiety. Moreover, he was very whiny and partly unresponsive. I have discontinued the drug and will not give it up so quickly. We are again doing therapies that also do him very well

Strattera for Ads / adh syndrome

I started with 40 mg once a day in the morning. The first 1-2 days I had no effect, but no side effect. Then there were only side effects: I was often dizzy / bad. Comparable to how you feel when you are getting seasick. In addition, I often had a headache / a feeling that my brain was overloaded, I was sweating very fast, had difficulty sleeping and orgasm problems. The side effects gradually subsided until they disappeared completely after about 1 month. The only thing left was that I sweat faster. After 1 month, I increased to 60 mg and during the weeks that followed, I noticed that I can follow conversations better and that I get stuck with reading, or that I do not have to read passages repeatedly. I also tried for a short time 80 mg and could still experience a slight improvement – but I’m down to 60 mg, because … Healthy are not yes, and I will these tablets very long, probably. forever, take. I, male, weigh ~ 80 kg at 1,77m. PS: I recommend Strattera in the morning, right after breakfast. On an empty stomach it makes me sick. After the meal: no problem. I also took them a few hours before going to bed: I can do it, I could sleep and in the morning I was very fit and awake (very unusual for me), but I think the effect is better if you take the pills in the morning.

    Strattera for Adh syndrome

Our son was prescribed Strattera 18 mg after being diagnosed with early childhood autism paired with ADHD. He has been taking the drug for about 10 months now. At first he was often sick, in the sense of circulatory nausea. He also complained of feeling dizzy and muddy-in-the-head. The doctor then advised us to give it to him at exactly the same time, which would (in principle, by the way, for all medications) decimate the side effect. This recommendation as well as the habituation helped to reduce the side effect to a tolerable level, and for us that is really a blessing, since Strattera is really better for him. Especially the typical for autistic concomitant depression was alleviated, and the duration and quality of the concentration significantly improved. All in all, we can really recommend Strattera.
