    Ramipril for High blood pressure

The blood pressure is now okay, but the side effects are intolerable. I am extremely weak and short of breath. Every now and then I feel good for half an hour or an hour, but that’s only for a short time, then it goes downhill again. There is also a slight nausea and dizziness, which increases when you get up. Overall, I feel most of the day as if my head were packed in cotton. In the course of the day, there are still sensations on the hands and feet, which luckily have always disappeared quite quickly. Writing this report is extremely difficult because I do not get the keys right. All in all a not very nice condition. I am voluntarily renouncing driving, which is supposed to mean something. How I should work like that is just a complete mystery to me.

    Ramipril for High blood pressure

I had been prescribed ramipril because of my mild hypertension (140/90), as reported here before. Although the dose was quite low (2.5 mg in the morning) I had a lot of trouble with side effects. Dizziness, impaired consciousness, nausea were the worst side effects. I was hoping these problems will go away after a while, but unfortunately I still have problems. Although there are days, it is better, but then the side effects come again. Since I take Ramipril now about 3-4 months and it has not improved, my GP prescribed a beta-blocker for me. Today I have taken this for the first day and I hope it will be better and I tolerate this (bisoprolol) better ….
