    Doxepin for Bipolar disorder; Depression

In hospitalization with severe depression in bipolar disorder, doxepin and lamotrigine were crept in. There were no side effects with lamotrigine. However, I have gained almost 9 kg of Doxepin, and I also suffered from dry mouth. In the meantime, I (according to doctor) also micturition (bladder emptying disorder) and thus had a serious bladder infection. Unfortunately I continued to have so-called mixed and / or rapid cycling phases, so I got Seroquel Prolong. I take it from now on. 600 mg. It works against me especially against my massive irritability. Unfortunately, I suddenly have problems with low blood pressure, dizziness and nausea when suddenly getting up. In the meantime, however, this has become much better!

Initially 3 times 25 mg were not crept in, but administered overnight. The first 14 days I had no side effects, with it was getting better. The panic attacks were less and my mood improved. Unfortunately, then not insignificant side effects occurred, such as: dizziness, low blood pressure, nausea, and weakness. This was so extreme by the day that my feet felt like lead and I had the feeling of falling over during any physical activity. I reduced my dose to half an hour at midday and 25 minutes and a quarter in the evening. The weakness was reduced significantly, my circulatory problems were better. At this dosage, I take Doxepin now about 3 months, but still cause me side effects. Firstly, I have increased considerably, about 5 kilos and I have to eat controlled, otherwise it would probably be more. In addition, I have more often dizziness and nausea, to the point of nausea. Especially bad is the most in the phase of my period.

    Doxepin for Depression

Take Doxepin for 378 days. Initially, about 10 months a day 2x 50 mg. The drug has a calming effect on my mood, but not against the anxiety. Because of the many side effects (blurred vision, headache, loss of appetite, sweating, nightmares, nausea, diarrhea, cardiovascular disorders, circulatory disorders, thirst, dry nasal membranes and itchy skin), I reduced from the 11 month to 50 mg. That’s almost me fast driving down I got the worst suicidal thoughts and therefore take it until now (13.Month) involuntarily weiter.Werde but try in very small steps to get rid of it.I think so in 6 mg steps.I do not dare more quickly. And then that Unfortunately, there is still no sensible remedy (except for benzodiazepines), no side effects, for the unbearable fears. And Benzo’s addictive addiction. Have also tried in recent decades tens of preparations (Aurorix, Saroten, Cipramil, Mirtazepin and v.a.) Could not tolerate all the agents and had the strongest side effects.

    Doxepin for Depression

Weight gain I have got Doxepin for anxiety and restlessness with sleep disorders. The effect was mediocre for me at a dosage of 150 mg per day. The worst side effect for me was the enormous weight gain. 30kg! (mindful of the diet) By gaining weight, I’ve just become more depressed. About 4 months ago then get Trevilor, positive side effect for me, easier weight loss because of loss of appetite. But also negative NW, such as blurred vision, headache, trembling legs, feelings of unreality, high pulse, hair loss. I’m just getting in with settling, which are bad. Lightning in the head, dizziness, nausea, severe headache. Descent at Trevilor Want advice if you want to sell Trevilor. I went through hell! After initial attempts to pull Trevilor off, I had terrible flashes in my head. I could barely move and was unable to do anything. Several times attempt started, after three days I could not stand it, again taken Trevilor. I stopped very, very slowly. After 75mg, first taken the lowest dose (34.7mg) for 2 weeks, then halved again for 3 weeks. Then one day after another for 2 weeks. and then stopped. There were still these surges and lightning in the head, but that was only light and it took only 5 days, then it was over. Done! I also had these symptoms when I discontinued citalopram, but it was not that bad and lasted only 5 days. I wish you all the best! Poni
