    Zyprexa for Depression

I have been taking Zyprexa since September 2010. I got the drug in closed psychiatry. At the beginning of treatment I had dizziness and great apettit. I had a constant feeling of hunger and was not fed up at all. My starting dose was 10 mg / day. One year later, in the summer of 2011, I tried for the first time to sneak away Zyprexa due to side effects. I was totally stunned, had no feelings and total loss of libido. I slowly reduced it, from 10 mg to 7.5 mg, 5 mg, 2.5 mg, 1 month each, and then I completely shed Zyprexa. In the beginning it was still fine, but when I was 2.5 mg, I felt dogs miserable. I had strong convulsions when falling asleep and waking up, even cramping while falling asleep and dyskinesia when waking up. These were spasmodic twitches throughout my body that I could not control. I also had sleep problems and diarrhea. When I completely deposed Zyprexa of 2.5mg, which was probably too fast, I had breathlessness. My stomach was so inflated that I could not breathe properly. I was so sick of the withdrawal symptoms that I became severely depressed and had suicidal thoughts. Wg. The shortness of breath, I even had to call the ambulance. Then I took Zyprexa again on the advice of a psychiatrist in the university hospital and increased until the withdrawal symptoms were gone. The most persistent were the dyskinesias. The result was that I ended up taking 15 mg Zyprexa, not just 10 mg as before. In 2011, I tried 2x to drop off Zyprexa, with the same serious withdrawal symptoms. In September 2012, I had to go to the clinic for alcohol withdrawal and had the Zyprexa reduced from 15 mg to 5 mg / day. This was still reasonably good, i. I had diarrhea for over 6 weeks. I had the family doctor examine a stool sample to rule out another cause of the diarrhea. In December 2012, I further reduced to 2.5 mg and had again falling asleep and waking very strong cramps, twitching, throughout the body and sometimes even on the face, these were dyskinesias and diarrhea again. The cramps were uncontrollable and only got better when I got out of bed and did gymnastics. The dyskinesia were gone after breakfast. Then I raised myself again to 15 mg. The result was that I still had mild cramps when falling asleep and waking up. When waking up, the cramps were worse and lasted longer than falling asleep. On 18.01.2013 I tried again and again reduced to 5 mg. I had the convulsions unchanged. Yesterday I further reduced to 2.5 mg and took on the recommendation of the pharmacist 400 mg of magnesium per day. That helped me, the cramps got better, but of course I’m not free of it. I still have diarrhea. I am very worried that the dyskinesia will get even worse as I reduced it to 2.5 mg only yesterday. Since I reduced to 2.5 mg, I also have sleep problems, fall asleep and wake up every 2 hours. I told my psychiatrist from the University of Dyskinesia that he was completely at a loss and said I am the first patient to report this. I reduce the Zyprexa only after at least 2-3 months, provided that I no longer have any withdrawal symptoms. Then I try to halve the 2.5 mg with the kitchen knife to 1.25 mg. I wish I had never got the devil’s stuff. The psychiatrist, who originally gave me this in the hospital (closed psychiatry) because of a trauma, I would like to sue. The Zyprexa totally stunned me, I had no feelings at all, no positives either. My libido was also lost and my orgasm ability. I felt completely empty inside. I can only warn everyone. Today I have 25 kg overweight of the stuff.

    Zyprexa for Psychosis

When I was hospitalized because of my psychosis I think I got 50mg (the two biggest yellow tablets) it helped a lot, my condition improved so much I was released after 2 months (1 month closed, 1 month open) I took it then still 3 months until I could not cope with the side effects. Fissanfälle on sweet, brutal weight gain, sexual feelings were little or no longer available, twitching with the corner of the mouth, elevated liver enzymes. I think the drug is great for treatment right after a psychosis but in the long run it was definitely not sustainable for me. Zeldox got 40 mg daily for more than 1 year hardly any side effects and I am very satisfied. (Zeldox is hard to get used to in the first months until the body gets used to it. Problem is the high level of fatigue or headache, but usually everything goes away).

    Zyprexa for Psychosis

Within 2 months 15kg increased. Initial weight 50kg. Unstable appetite for carbohydrates. Extreme tiredness, muscle twitching, Parkinson’s symptoms, emotional flattening (like zombie), feeling of constant overstimulation (daylight too glaring), loss of libido, general feeling loss (Could not rejoice, do not mourn, not laugh at what is actually funny falling in love with the ingestion, the feeling of being in love completely disappeared after taking it, came back after weaning) Eye problems (sharp vision only possible with volitional effort) After 2 1/2 months high fever, muscle tone greatly increased, back muscles stiff as a board, tremor , Headache, feeling like plugging in a socket. Malinges neuroleptic syndrome noted had to settle immediately, mortal danger. After weaning extreme insomnia over three weeks, just rumgelegen and dozed and sleep came only gradually. Vomiting, blood pressure fluctuations, fevers, weakness, difficulty concentrating. Extreme headache, Tinitus like station concourse, Terrible Parkinson’s symptomatology. Extreme fear that felt like it was purely physical and had nothing to do with the psyche (Quote: I’m terribly scared but the mood is eigendlich quite ok) Feeling like the brain on a grill (skull hum) The feeling for me but it was back quickly, luckily. Weaning symptoms like heroin withdrawal, only worse and longer. Only slowly got better after half a year. Anxiety attacks, inner restlessness, extreme weakness. Doctor said something about mental exhaustion. Now after 1 1/2 years I am largely restored. Residual depression, also triggered by difficult social situation. The psychosis that I had before taking, which lasted 7 days and was caused by a drug intolerance to antibiotics, I did not come back. I’m in psychotherapeutic treatment for six months because of PTSD. Slight Parkinson’s symptoms and tinnitus in excitement is left over and hopefully goes away as well. All in all, Zyprexa was the worst thing that ever happened to me in life. Incidentally, the psychosis was already gone after taking one (!) Tavor. First of all, I slept more or less for almost 4 days and, according to friends and my own assessment, was clearly in the head again. (Lack of disease insight in all involved !? * Bissel irony on the edge *) Nevertheless, Zyprexa was dosed to 20mg / day, which was completely overdosed at my body weight. According to psychiatrist, I would need the protection. At that time I am up to five months of taking high-dose St. John’s wort drug-free and come out clear. Quality of life trend rising. All in all, I’m glad to have survived that. Sometimes not much was missing.

    Zyprexa for Psychosis

I recommend nobody to take Zyprexa in the long term. It is very effective in the acute phase of psychosis. I came out with 5-10mg from the acute phase within 2 months. The short-term and long-term side effects are, however, glorifying and mostly unknown to psychiatrists or they just shove it into the wrong drawer. When I had my psychotic episode I lost my job and was put on Zyprexa 5 mg within 2 months I was out of the psyhose but I was still mentally ill. I had extreme anxiety that paralyzed me in my actions. An inner restlessness. As if you were going to explode. These side effects of Zyprexa have been added by my psychiatrist to schizophrenia. I just hope that he did not get better. Added to this were suicidal thoughts. I did not know those thoughts from before and also felt them to be absurd. But they kept coming up to me again and again. From my psychiatrist to the psychosis. When I started to work again, the anxiety, inner turmoil and suicidal thoughts became stronger. I reported about it to my psychiatrist and we increased the dose of Zyprexa. The higher the dosage of Zyprexa the worse the side effects. Increase of anxiety until it became unbearable. Suicidal thoughts were reinforced. The fatigue increased. Stiffness of the muscles. Twitching of the muscles, which were interpreted as restless leg. Electricity discharges in the brain that exploded like an explosion and then swept across the body. Depressions. Numbness on the whole body on the left side to the right, speech disorders. Stuttering, word-finding disorders. Lack of concentration. Dizziness. Weight gain. Incoordination. Narrowing of the visual field, perception disorders. (no psyhose but one takes his umwellt not true) extreme emotional blunting) I do not know what I should still pay. After 5 years I am a mental Wrak and my psychiatrist has put most of it on any other illnesses or pushed the psychosis itself. I was socially isolated because I did not get along with the situation. When I started taking Zyprexa, most of them were not known or published. Zyprexa can not be deposed like that either (my psychiatrist told me) you should steal it because the withdrawal symptoms are just as colorful as the side effects themselves. And still most of the side effects have not been published. Not even half of what you can read in the I-Net is in the pack. And only through the Internet, I realized that I am not alone with the side effects and the Zyprexa is the cause of all the suffering I went through. Zyprexa is suitable for the acute stage. For long term therapy definitely not. And do not get rid of your psychiatrist because that’s the psychosis or some other illness. Zyprexa makes these side effects.
