I’ve been taking fluoxetine for almost three months now and coping well with it. It is important that you adjust the dose indivudell also adapts the daily. I did not get along well with 40 mg in the morning, because it caused me considerable side effects, such as headache and blurred vision, the limitation of sensory perception and the onset of nausea were already immense. with another distribution of the dose in the morning and at noon or in the evening I was obviously better. mentally I benefited from the drug. Despondency and forcible ideas became apparent and I became more active again. What has remained of side effect is a disturbed sleep rhythm, sometimes muscle twitching at night and heat flashes. I find that bearable, but I’m psychologically more stable and can work on the causes better.

    Fluoxetine for Depression

Nausea and diarrhea at first, which was bearable. Slight increase of panick attacks inner restlessness. After about 3 weeks, these side effects were gone, the effect occurred so after 4-6 weeks, then increased again from 20 mg to 40 mg. Then again had slight stomach and intestinal problems but only a few days. Later, as side effects, I had frequent yawning, dry mouth / throat, muscle tremors and muscle twitching before falling asleep. From the beginning I had Ein- and sleep problems that are not completely gone but to endure. In summary, I can say that the side effects were or are and have not affected me as much as the depression and anxiety. The positive effect has so far predominated. Very disgusting I found fluoxetine from Hexal, which dissolve immediately in the mouth and have a very bitter taste, sometimes they stuck in my throat. Now I take fluoxetine neuraxpharm film-coated tablets, which are better.

In May 2007, I was diagnosed with a Generalized Anxiety Disorder …. at that time I was only treated with Fluoxetine 20 mg … which also worked well … had only possibly still panic attacks … In July of this year, I had the fluoxetine completely deposed … I thought I would be better and I would manage without the medication … quite clearly wrong thought … because for about 3 weeks my panic attacks are back …. the fluoxetine was set back .. .. first 10 mg, then 20 mg … I can not say exactly what happened … whether it was due to the drug or because I have too much puree …. I was of the opinion that my attacks have become worse are …. now for about 6 days I take in the evening 30 mg mirtazapine … because I could sleep badly because I constantly heart rate, trembling and Musclezuckungen had or still partially have …. for about 2 days I have the feeling as if I have a fever … (have not measured any there) I will st really hot …. and have such a burn on the skin … but have no rash …. am constantly trembling … Muscle twitches …. fear and panic …. I just do not continue .. I hope this is somebody who has possibly made such experiences with both medikamenten.ich also do not know how I should proceed now …. can not call my doctor as it is weekend. I would be glad about helpful answers.

    Fluoxetine for Depression

first opipramol and fluoxitin. mainly against panic attacks. total impotence, dry mouth, at first aggravating the attacks. – then citalopram. terrible aggravation of depression, extreme dizziness, anxiety creep downright physically cold my back up, muscle twitching in the legs. discontinued by the doctor. replaced by moclobemide, almost no effect, no side effect. After that, I spent half a year in Ireland, where a doctor suggested to try cymbalta. had NO side effect except sleep disturbance, which I had previously sporadically and already very dry mouth with disgusting taste in the mouth. Since then, I also take cymbalta in Germany, I am thrilled. Panickattacken almost zero, no side effects except those described, no orgasm disorders. However, my psychiatrist cymbalta has to prescribe me every second recipe as a private prescription, because thanks to the health reform, it no longer fits into her budget. and THIS is a very blatant side effect, especially since I am unemployed. Depression still present but toned down, hope to find definitive help through behavioral therapy. but my main problem of panic seems to be very well handled by cymbalta. I am excited about the drug!
