    Ciprofloxacin for Ulcerative colitis

Was in the beginning of July 2012 for a week in the hospital because of diverticulitis.Bekam antibiotics also mix with a gyrase inhibitor. Then had more and more problems with joint problems. (Shoulder, hip, knee, wrist (swollen)). This is now 4 months ago and I still have complaints on loading. Can not work anymore since then. Have read the other entries and I would be interested in whether these complaints go away again.

    Ciprofloxacin for Dental inflammation

I only took 2 tablets. Fortunately, my conscience said, leave it. Nevertheless, I only have two muscle pains and can barely walk. And not only that, I am tired and impotent all day long. Stay away from this chemistry cocktail.

    Ciprofloxacin for Dental inflammation

Have received because of Kiefervereiterung this terrible drug, despite a immunodeficiency. After the first tablet, it started with nausea. After 2 days of taking it I felt so bad that I dropped it off. I was getting more and more exhausted, headache, nausea and muscle aches, I just felt sick. Today, 2 days later, I woke up with tendon pain in my feet and pain in my hands. In addition, I am freezing, the headache and nausea persist. In essence, I feel completely poisoned. What kind of a frivolous drug and why is it prescribed without education? I can only advise against ciprofloxacin. So something that interferes with the DNA, should not be on the market, at least not as a harmless often prescribed AB, which is actually a chemomedicament.

    Ciprofloxacin for Cystitis

I have been prescribed Ciprofloxacin for the treatment of cystitis by my GP (250mg, 2x a day). Previously, I had already received the antibiotic cotrimoxazole because of the same condition, which I tolerated very well and which also helped against the inflammation. So I assumed the Cipro would look similar and did not think much about taking it. The package leaflet lists the usual possible side effects that can be used to live well during treatment, as well as nothing that makes one alert. But after the first tablet, I felt strong changes. My arms felt heavy, my elbows hurt as if you were stabbing them with a knife. I felt dizzy, a short time later, a strong physical agitation, I could not sit still. Also, I was suddenly very easily irritable and aggressive (otherwise I am a more relaxed and calm person), broke down in tears for no reason and felt otherwise just sick. After the second pill I felt a tug in my thighs and back, my palms burning and I had a bad taste in my mouth. I felt tired but could not or did not sleep very well (during the entire treatment period). After the third tablet I had the impression that my fingers were swollen. Alarmed, I called in practice and told about my previous reactions. We weighed down, normal side effects, I should read the package insert. In the meantime, the treatment with Cipro had an effect on my work, I was no longer on the line, was unfocused and just stood next to me. Word-finding difficulties (spoken and written) and forgetfulness annoyed me in addition. My neck was cramping, my knees were inflamed and my knees were somehow taut. On the third day the diarrhea began, I had constant pressure on my stomach and ran half an hour away from the toilet. Meanwhile my fingers and toes hurt, also here I had the feeling of inflammations. On the penultimate day my whole body ached, most of the legs (calves and knees), the running was difficult, the corridor up a staircase made me very hard. I had spasms in the soles of my feet. Lying or sitting in one position did not take long, then new pain appeared at the pressure-loaded areas. The last use of the drug is over a month ago. As I write this, my fingers and wrists ache, my back and chest, and my legs still hurt. I hope the effect soon disappears. If you get the drug prescribed, ask your doctor what it is all about. If in doubt, prescribe a lighter remedy, I would never take Cipro for such a small bladder infection again!

    Ciprofloxacin for Urinary tract infection

One tablet each morning and evening because of a urinary tract infection. On the 3rd day application stopped because it brought me no improvement, but only side effects. On the first day everything else OK, on the second day muscle pain, first alternately (sometimes calf right, sometimes thigh left) then it has limited to the left arm. Especially when I used my hand, it hurt like I had hit it somewhere before. When on the third day then a tingling in my arm began, that also did not go away, I stopped the intake and got another antibiotic prescribed. For that I had to give another urine sample before and there was no improvement. I already knew that before, because I still had blood in my urine. So I would say try it, it helps some. As soon as NW become noticeable immediately stop and go to the doctor. Sometimes people are still fighting weeks, months later with NW But everyone is and reacts differently to medications, especially antibiotics

    Ciprofloxacin for Cystitis

Good day, take the antibiotics now only 3 days 2 times a day 250mg. After the second pill there was a slight diarrhea and now on the third day I have muscle pain in my legs and the whole body a feeling similar to a cold. moreover, the antibiotic causes stomach pain and bloated abdomen, such problems, except diarrhea, have never had with antibiotics. Will tomorrow ask the doctor if I can sell it. I’ve never had that kind of thing. So far I have tolerated antibiotics such as Clindasol etc. very well, but that is enough for me after 3 days. I do not think that for 7 days, because I also suffer from fibromyalgia and anyway know long-term pain, but even more I do not have.

Side effects: Bloating; Diarrhea; Muscle aches

I’m a bit scared of ciprofloxacin because I normally tolerate antibiotics! Even with a 250 mg package that was prescribed to me, I got the following side effects: * persistent drowsiness * loss of appetite * sensitivity * tightness in the chest (very strong) * drowsiness * lovelessness * neck pain, (or muscle pain), the barely get away are so uplifting in the head that it causes a kind of pressure in the head. Sometimes it calms down when you sit, you hardly get up, the pressure comes back acutely and is accompanied by unpleasant stitches. I get through these tablets, as if I would drink for 5 days or would be on the worst drugs, or must endure the toughest hangover of it!

    Ciprofloxacin for Cystitis

I took Cipro 7 days. After that, nothing was the same as before. I got muscle pain that was from the other star, I have not had such pain in my whole life! In addition, the pain and other symptoms of cystitis remained (no more bacteria), I got a vulvodynia, depression and lost 20 kg! Tachycardia, palpitations, diarrhea, histamine intolerance. The vulvodynia and the bladder pain I have since taking, which is over 2 years ago. It improves very slowly. Cipro -NIE again! There would have been alternatives. My trust in doctors is permanently destroyed.

    Ciprofloxacin for Urinary tract infection

After taking ciprofloxacin was nothing like before. I think I’ve been permanently damaged since then. I could barely walk, I thought I had MS. Muscle and joint pain, tremors, concentration problems, heart problems, incipient meningitis, blurred vision, etc., etc. countless symptoms. In my case, it was attributed to a chronic neuroborreliosis, which I have a lot, yes ALSO, but this remedy makes MUCH worse, or at first causes neurological damage! It only occurred to me in connection now because I got the remedy again. (three years later, again because of a urinary tract infection) and AGAIN after taking EXTREME much worse. What I’ve always interpreted mainly as a bout of Lyme disease. Because I am since (2011) MOST bad, and sometimes VERY bad. I have noticed that it was so bad even after taking it. I do not know if you can ever heal this again. What helps is the antibiotic azithromycin over several weeks, three tablets a week and a good detoxification, for example. with Heidelberger Chlorella algae and homeopathy. In addition, a colon rehabilitation and reconstruction of the intestinal flora with Symbioflor. I would like to make it known to those affected and that the product comes from the market !! It harms many many people !! Even people have taken after taking almost or even completely, the life, as it has a strong effect on the psyche! The remedy belongs IMMEDIATELY forbidden!

Muscle pain, diffuse itching on the body, sweating, difficulty breathing, heartburn in unbearable strength, anxiety, speech disorders, difficulty concentrating, aggression, numbness / numbness on the face, blurred vision (eye-to-eye), all in all less than 5% the revenue situation occurs. The visual disturbances, the numbness of the face and a changed tongue, unfortunately, I still have. According to the doctor, this should regress, I wish for the day when this is the case ..

After taking only 4 tablets a 500mg, discomfort throughout the movement apparatus, these are persistent. Cracking of the joints, soreness in the calves, pressure and pricking of both Achilles tendons. 2nd day after weaning, confusion, Strange perception of the environment, trembling. I feel as if I have poisoned me, very much. I hope I’m recovering soon, I got scared by the many negative reports. I got the tablets on suspicion! I wonder if the Hippocratic Oath is taken seriously, it is unreasonable to prescribe this poison, especially since I only had a slight urinary tract infection. What shoud that? Can you just like it? I do not think so.

    Ciprofloxacin for Fever

Almost all of the side effects described in the package insert have occurred after only 3 tablets. Due to severe nerve and muscle pain, I went to the hospital. Blood levels were very poor (especially the liver levels increased to over 400), and inflammatory levels were catastrophic. Knee, foot and shoulder joints and some fingers swelled and I was unable to walk for several days. After a 10-day hospitalization, I was released. Blood levels have returned to normal within about 3 months. Muscle and nerve pain occur again and again, as well as depressive moods. Stay away from ciprofloxacin! It is probably prescribed by the doctors, especially with urinary tract infections, because it is very cheap!

So far the worst medi ever that I ever gotAfter the third tablet, the nightmare began !!! My whole nerves, muscles, joints, every single fiber ached in my body. My left wrist was almost stiff, the right one almost as bad. Had cramps in arms and legs. Short and sweet every part of the body was as strongly inflamed. Extreme itching all over, worst on legs, feet. I almost scratched everything bloody !!! In the end I ended up in the hospital, got cetirizine and prednisolone for four days !!! My whole body responded to the crap in a highly forgiving manner. I’m never allowed to take the medi again, I was told !! Otherwise I will not come away so bleak next time !!! Ps .: had after taking another 3 months pain in joints, nerve fibers, etc! Could have been much longer. I know a case that still years later with the consequences of fighting, he will never live painless again! So please do not take that just heard the stuff forbidden!

    Ciprofloxacin for Urinary tract infection

Obtained after postoperative UTI (in man). I am not sure if I have taken Cipro before – if, then without side effects except maybe digestive tract (I almost always have this with antibiotics). This time 2x500mg were prescribed daily for actually 7 days. After three days in the morning mild tinnitus. Since OP was on the head, not even assigned to the drug in the approach. On the fourth day then pain in the calf left, later lower leg right. Here, too, initially assigned possibly too long immobilization after OP. Also, light sleep problems and hypnosis with Atemnotsgefühl during almost the entire duration of use. Magnesium was taken on the fourth day in the evening, which helped almost immediately to improve, but only for a short time. Then I finally came up with the idea that it is the Cipro! Discontinued. Wait for improvement of the symptoms (1 day after removal).

13.11.2009 The prescription of this drug is in my eyes assault. I can only advise against taking. I wish I had never taken the remedy! – The day after the first ingestion in September 2008, severe pain with inflammation occurred in the thumb joints. Holding bottles was no longer possible. Playing an instrument was only possible to a limited extent. The complaints continue. As a result, the pain has spread to all joints such as cervical spine, shoulders, knees. In animal experiments, the joints and cartilage of young animals were completely destroyed! Why do you allow such a drug at all ??? My risk of arthrosis is likely to be greatly increased by taking ciprofloxacin. This means enormous pain and possibly necessary surgery of the hip and knees. – Approx. For 2 months, intestinal inflammation with significant pain. The stomach was bloated, no pants fit more. Had to take intestinal bacteria and antimycotics. – Muscle pain and muscle weakness, since then I can hardly do any more sports. Luckily, I had only Achilles tendon pain and no tear, as some patients report the following, very informative link: Please beforehand Read Ciprofloxacin and then decide if you want to take the risk. – Lethargy, severe debilitating fatigue with a great need for sleep that makes the demands of a normal working day seem insurmountable. – severe concentration disorders, depressed for a week in Nov. 08, followed by diffuse fears (for no reason at all). This was very stressful. – a striking susceptibility to infection, busy from Sept. 08 to Feb. 09 almost continuously with viral infections and bronchitis. This fall it continued. When concomitant with low-dose cortisone, concomitant inflammation was rapid, but this may indicate damage to the adrenal cortex that produces the body’s own cortisol. – My general condition has been poor since taking Ciprofloxacin. A thyroid scan for the above symptoms was diagnosed with Hashimoto, an autoimmune thyroid disease. All of the above symptoms are consistent with this condition and I can not shake the suspicion that Hashimoto has just broken out by taking Ciprofloxacin. The immune system is severely damaged and I have the impression that especially the sensitive regulatory cycle of hormone-producing glands has been damaged. I have no understanding that in this health care system for about 20 euros thoughtlessly prescribed a drug that pays the health insurance, which damages my body sustainable and I personally for the restoration of my health privately large sums must spend to reasonably again one To get an idea of what it means to be healthy. I appeal to the physicians’ responsibility and the old-fashioned Hippocratic Oath: I will make medical prescriptions for the benefit of the sick according to my ability and judgment, but I will guard against harming them and misappropriating them.

during or shortly afterwards blurred vision, which apparently also worsened. Ca 2 months after taking pain in muscles and tendons, especially in the legs, tingling such as pinpricks under the skin, muscle twitching, suddenly extreme dandruff on the scalp, sometimes with itching and massive hair loss. itching and burning in the genital area. Muscle problems increased during exercise, which is why I have been unable to do sports for months, and I started doing sports again shortly before. Tiredness and depressive phase. Stomach pain and digestive problems The drug was prescribed to me because the doctor suspected a bowel inflammation. At that time, I was at that time for about three months finally my acid blocker going on and I would finally go well without the Cipro.

    Ciprofloxacin for Urinary tract infection

Cipro 500mg was prescribed by 1a Pharma for the treatment of a urinary tract infection. In total, one tablet should be taken for 5 days early and in the evening. In the first three days of use, the side effects were limited to muscle pain in the buttocks and pelvic area, some headaches in the neck and sleep disorders. That was not so bad. On the morning of the fifth day – after a very restless and almost sleepless night, before the last tablet (which was then no longer taken), the candidate almost could not get out of bed. Muscle weakness, muscle twitching, hard-to-control limbs (arms and legs), swollen tongue and speech difficulties (licking because the tongue was thick and not properly controllable) were the symptoms. On the 6th day, the left arm and leg were completely deprived of their strength and reduced ability to control. The symptoms corresponded to those of a stroke – but here were the side effects of the drug. Have helped a lot of drinking (isotonic sports drinks and tea up to 4 liters a day), glucose, vitamins, fresh air, a lot of exercise (walks, spa visits, swimming) and food, which one has an appetite (pasta, fish, fruit). Sounds stupid, but it was like that. Because you have neither real appetite, nor can you move properly. Strong will and overcoming are necessary. A rehab patient will not feel different. Working was impossible. Now one week after receipt of the symptoms are after continuous improvement, probably similar to the degradation of the poison, almost gone. Conclusion: Bacteria kill this drug well – the UTI was treated successfully – but the patient almost. In my opinion, a three-day treatment would have been enough and it would not have come to these nasty side effects. Personally, I would not take Cipro any more and research the effects of medications on the net before I take them. If you read the leaflet, you should not take anything anyway, because otherwise you are almost dead already. More objective are the reports of the experimental patients here, which is why I have written this a little more detail. The psychological situation can also be problematic because one always thinks: Maybe that was a stroke after all. Was not it, that was more drug poisoning with the worst symptoms. How can you release such a stuff only on humanity? Clear recommendation: Do not take, or a maximum of three days. For those who already have side effects: Overcome, more often S..Thank you and do what you feel like doing or what you would do now, even if it is very exhausting. Normality satisfied. If you feel lethargic during the activities you have to eat something, or drink cola, that helps. The personal form is the worst in the morning and improves during the day. Do not wish any of these side effects and if they are already there, get well soon!

    Ciprofloxacin for Cystitis

I have been prescribed by my doctor for cystic fibrosis 250mg Ciprofloxacin. I wondered a bit, because that’s not the first choice, but maybe I’ll get it now because a few weeks ago I had one, but I brought it away with tea. I should take the drug twice a day for five days. A few hours after the first tablet, I got a lot of drills, sometimes just looking empty and unable to concentrate. I took the second tablet in the evening and began to inquire about ciprofloxacin. When I read the shocking things on the internet, I briefly wondered if I should vomit to get the second tablet out of my body, but then I thought to myself, you do not have to exaggerate it and it was just the second tablet. I should have done it, because then I got strong muscle and joint pain, numbness, especially in the left arm and heart racing. I had no magnesium (which is supposed to help) there and so I went on shaky legs totally dissolved in the emergency room. Since one said that would be a common drug and it can not come from. I first had to wait forever until a doctor came. Also, I told her about the ingestion and the now occurring symptoms and pointed out that there is a black box warning in the US, because even she just weighed down. In the end, she labeled me as a simulant and when I said after my state exam I’m just a pharmacist and I know what I’m talking about just blocking her more. I was given Lorazepam for reassurance, blood was taken (everything went well), and an ECG was recorded for supraventricular arrhythmia. She did not take that seriously, either, and I think that’s probably because I’m so stressed out. As a result, the day after I still have muscle aches and joint pain, and I hope that will go away. Conclusion: Stay away from the fluoroquinolones, unless it’s about life and death!
