    Keppra for Epilepsy

Under valproic acid I had no side effects that I can attribute to the drug. I was well served and had nothing more to note. Just for the sake of a desire to have a baby, I was prepared for another drug – Keppra, which I did not know before. In the early days, I suffered a lot from fatigue, fatigue, lack of concentration, weakness, memory problems. These side effects have now improved a lot, but continue to exist. Side effects that I have persisted are: irritability, aggression, mood swings, increased depressive phases. Side effects where I do not know if they are due to Keppra: occasional pulsation in the eyelid, at times short twitching in the extremities (finger or leg), irritated throat / throat area

    Keppra for Epilepsy

Keppra: Severe tiredness, tinnitus as noise in the ear (pulse – blood flow), cold, double vision, dizziness, drowsiness, sex dysfunction, sleep disorder, mood swings, depression, brittle fingernails, leg cramps, back pain, difficulty concentrating, thinking blocks, irritability, anxiety attacks, listlessness among others I had previously taken the drug gabapentin (Neurontin) for 4 years and with the conversion to Keppra my neurologist wanted the NW as fatigue, sex dysfunctions, concentrate disorders, slow thinking and mood swings, irritability, aggressiveness u.a. eliminate the drug gabapentin. She said that the Keppra would make me more cheerful and balanced and also no sex. Disorders include. That was a fallacy and I’ve obviously fallen from the rain to the skies. The Keppra showed significantly heavier NW than the gabapentin.

To Ergenyl: The efficacy is good; unfortunately, many side effects accompany me, which is why my neurologist now creeps me on Keppra – as a monotherapy – so an interim report. Ergenyl: strong weight gain hair loss acne mood swings trembling libido loss forgetfulness speech disorders no hunger or satiety strong dreams Keppra: tired to sleep falling to weak body blackouts, as after excessive alcohol consumption internal insecurity Both meds together make of me a unserved people – hope, in 7 weeks, when the changeover is done, to be able to report better;) What amazed me by the way & amp; even more annoyed is the copayment obligation at Keppra, which does not exist for Ergenyl.
